现行小学英语教育中出现的一些问题

一、引言

教育部于20xx年1月发布关于小学英语教育的政策,改变以往从初一学英语的传统,要求小学生从3年级开始学英语,并且此政策于20xx年秋在城市实施,于20xx年秋在农村逐步实施。

此项政策实施至今,小学英语教育无论在城市还是在农村都变得非常火热,各类小学英语辅导班和培训机构也应运而生。我从一些小学生及家长的接触中了解到:大部分学生在正式学英语前参加过诸如剑桥英语之类的培训机构;在进入3年级的正式学英语之后,更是学校学习和校外辅导班兼顾。

针对目前小学学英语的热潮,我有所思:国家发布政策提前学英语的时间,其理论根据是什么?有什么政策目标?较早学英语的优势何在?学校为小学生提供的学习环境如何?现行小学英语教育的师资队伍如何?现行的英语教学法,哪一种更适用于小学英语教学?下面将对以上问题进行剖析。

二、关键期假设(年龄问题)

“关键期假设”最初是由Lenneberg提出的。此假说认为,语言学习存在一个确定的年限范围,在此阶段内,语言能够自然而不费力气地被习得,而超过此学习阶段,习得就不可能达到完全的成功。Penfield和Roberts(1959)认为语言习得的最佳时期为前十年,因为在这段时间,大脑保持其弹性,这与Lenneberg(1967)提出的人的语言能力在青春期(10岁前)后便完成其大脑侧向功能是相互支持的。

The Differences Between American and Traditional Chinese Weddings

Although weddings are very common both in America and China, there are many differences between the two countries. These differences of American and Chinese weddings mainly exist in the whole process. Roughly speaking, nearly every ceremonial occasion includes preparation and celebration, and so does a wedding. But, different from others, weddings are special because of its wedding night and honeymoon. Above all, the wedding process is divided into three parts, and they are wedding preparation, wedding celebration, and wedding night and honeymoon. Among the three parts of wedding process, the wedding preparation plays a fundamental role. Although there are a large number of similarities between American and Chinese wedding preparation, both American and Chinese people，for example， prefer to choose a really lucky day to hold their weddings. Yet it is true that there are a lot of differences between them which make them special. Basically, these differences exist in the things that are needed in the wedding preparation. Engagement to a wedding is what contract to a trade. So, it is obvious that engagement means a lot to human beings. “In some Jewish-Americans’ eyes, marrying without such an agreement is considered immoral” (Kaplan 4). Abstract: This article focuses on the role of “noticing” and “noticing the gap” in second language acquisition. It is argued that this notion has gained wide support on the basis of intuition and assumption rather than on the findings of appropriate and exhaustive empirical research. The aim of this paper is twofold: a) to consider the theoretical constructs that underlie the role of noticing, and b) to assess the validity of the assumption that noticing enhances language acquisition. This paper concludes that 1) empirical research has yet to validate the role of noticing in language acquisition, 2) an alternative view offered by Truscott (1998), which suggests that noticing is merely tied to the acquisition of metalinguistic knowledge, is worthy of investigation, and 3) future research into the relationship between training learners to notice linguistic forms and the acquisition of metalinguistic knowledge may enhance our understanding of noticing in second language acquisition. （小四；不分段；顶格）

英语论文格式及写作规范

语言和内容是评判一篇英语论文质量高低的重要依据；但是,写作格式规范与否亦是一个不可忽略的衡量标准。因此,规范英语论文的格式,使之与国际学术惯例接轨,对我们从事英语教学,英语论文写作,促进国际学术交流都具有重要意义。由于英语论文写作规范随学科不同而各有所异,本文拟就人文类学科英语论文的主要组成部分,概述美国教育界、学术界通行的人文类英语论文写作规范,以供读者参考、仿效。

一、英语论文的标题

一篇较长的英语论文(如英语毕业论文)一般都需要标题页,其书写格式如下:第一行标题与打印纸顶端的距离约为打印纸全长的三分之一,与下行(通常为by,居中)的距离则为5cm,第三、第四行分别为作者姓名及日期(均居中)。如果该篇英语论文是学生针对某门课程而写,则在作者姓名与日期之间还需分别打上教师学衔及其姓名(如:Dr./Prof.C.Prager)及本门课程的编号或名称(如:English 734或British Novel)。打印时,如无特殊要求,每一行均需double space,即隔行打印,行距约为0.6cm(论文其他部分行距同此)。

就学生而言,如果英语论文篇幅较短,亦可不做标题页(及提纲页),而将标题页的内容打在正文第一页的左上方。第一行为作者姓名,与打印纸顶端距离约为
