Jane Eyre读后感

Jane Eyre is a poor but aspiring, small in body but huge in soul, obscure but self-respecting girl. She has been exposed to a hostile environment but continuously and fearlessly struggling for her ideal life. After reading the book, Jane Eyre, a marvelous figure, has left me so much to recall and to think.

I can clearly remember her goodness: for someone who lost arms and blinded in eyes, for someone who despised her for her ordinariness, and even for someone who had hurt her deeply in the past. I also remember her pursuit of justice. It’s like a companion with the goodness. Her self-respect and the clear situation on equality have a great impression on me. In her opinion, everyone is the same at the God’s feet. Though there are differences in status, in property and also in appearance, but all the human-beings are equal in personality. Besides, her striving for life, her toughness and her confidence are what I appreciate most.

Charlotte Bront? was an English novelist, the author of< Jane Eyre>, the eldest of the three Bront? sisters whose novels have become enduring classics of English literature. < Jane Eyre> are rejected by many publishing houses, was published posthumously in 1857. Her novels were deemed coarse by the critics. But now, Charlotte Bront? is one of the most popular writers in the world and her article <Jane Eyre> inspire millions of people since it had published.

Reading Report About Jane Eyre

Jane Eyre, is the name of a famous book ,but also the name of the heroine in book. This book is the most representative work of Charlotte Bronte ,who is considered as one of an outstanding woman novelist. As we all know, Bronte Sisters are representative figures of English literature. Before I reading the novel, I was already taken into interest in its unconvertional heroine, Jane Eyre. She is always pursuit for liberty ,equality and independence .The book describe her daring to struggle,to fight for freedom and equality status of women. This novel took Jane Eyre into comparison with traditional image of women. Impressed by this difference ,it took an literal crisis in Britain.

Jane Eyre

I have read a novel called Jane Eyre. It’s one of my favorite books. Jane Eyre is written by Charlotte Bronte, a famous British female writer.

Jane’s parents died soon after her birth, so left to be raised up by Mrs. Reed, her aunt, but unfortunately, her aunt was not a kind person and she treated Jane badly and sent her to Lowood, a charity school when she was ten years old. After studying there for eight years, Jane left Lowood and became a governess at Thornfield whose master was Mr. Rochester. Although Jane considered Mr. Rochester odd and rude at first, she did fall in love with him after knowing him better. They decided to get married but when Jane that he had already had a mad wife, she left him uncompromisingly. When she knew that Mr. Rochester’s wife was dead and Mr. Rochester himself became blind, she came back to him and lived a happy life together.

Jane Eyre

I had read Jane Eyre in Chinese when I was in Grade 3. It did not attract me at first. However, I think highly of it now and learn a lot of things from the novel after I read it again and again.

Before I start to talk about <Jane Eyre>, I’d like to talk something about the excellent writer---Charlotte Bronte, who is a woman. <Jane Eyre> was written in 19th century. As we all know, it is difficult for a woman to be a writer at that time. She used a pen name---Koehler Bell which is a male name to avoid the argument and disagreement. Charlotte Bronte and her two sisters were all good at writing. Unfortunately, she died after one year’s happy marriage and she was just 39 years old.

Charlotte Bront&euml; was born 21 April 1816, third of the six children of Patrick Bront&euml; and Maria Branwell Bront&euml;. The major event of her young life was the death of her mother in 1821, whichcreated a lot of chaos. In 1824, Charlotte and her two older sisters, Maria and Elizabeth, were sent to the newly-opened Cowan Bridge Clergy Daughters' School.

Conditions there were bad even by the standards of the time, and it was not long before both Maria and Elizabeth became ill enough to be sent home, where they both died of consumption in the spring of1825. Patrick brought Charlotte and her younger sister Emily, who had recently joined them at the school, back home as soon as the other girls became ill, but Charlotte in particular never forgot what the school had been like.

I read the Jane Eyre last month.It is a story about a strong woman named Jane Eyre who continuously and fearlessly struggled for her ideal life.

Jane is an orphan raised by her aunt.But her aunt,the only relative she had，treated her as badly as a servant.ThenJane was sentLowwood Orphanage where her education started in,but she still didn’t get what she hadexperted.After the death of Helen,Jane’s only friend in LowwoodOrphanage,Jane stayed there for eight years relying greatly on the help and encouragement of Miss Temple.when Jane grew up,she went to Thornfield as a governess where she met Mr Rochester,a man with warm heart despite a cold face outside.After Jane and Rochester fell in love with each other and got down to get marry, she unfortunately came to know in fact Rochester had got a legal wife.Finally,Jane decided to leave Rochester and so she did.One day,she journeyed back to Thornfield where she is shocked to find the great manor house gutted by fire and completely in ruins. Then she discovered that Mrs. Rochester one night succeeded in setting the house on fire. Rochester managed to lead the servants to safety and then went back into the burning mansion to rescue his wife. She eluded him, was able to climb to the roof, and was then killed in a plunge to the ground.Rochester barely managed to get out of the burning house himself.
