The title of my paper is An Analysis of Ahab’s Personality Tragedy in Moby Dick. I choose this title as my topic due to the following reasons. Firstly, I am fond of literature works , especially gothic literature works. Secondly, I am quite familiar with this work as this is one of the texts in our American literature course . Last but not least , Moby-Dick is widely recognized as the summit not only of Melville’s art but of American nineteenth-centry fiction.

毕业论文答辩的主要目的，是审查文章的真伪、审查写作者知识掌握的深度，审查文章是否符合体裁格式，以求进一步提高。学生通过答辩，让教师、专家进一步了解文章立论的依据，处理课题的实际能力。这是学生可以获得锻炼和提高的难得机会，应把它看作，治学的“起点”。

（一）答辩的准备工作学生可以从下列问题（第4~10题）中，根据自己实际，选取二三个问题，作好汇报准备，（第1~3题必选）。时间一般不超过10分钟。内容最好烂熟于心中，不看稿纸，语言简明流畅。

I am Jiyulong from B English 082. I choose this topic due to the following reasons. The Catcher in the Rye is Salinger’s only long novel, also is an autobiographic novel. This novel owns a kind of autobiographic characteristic of the author’s experience as a youngster. And the character of the novel Holden Caulfied’s experience is quite similar with the author experience as a youngster. I hope to make a research on the autobiographic color in The Catcher in the Rye to show the author's negative attitude of escaping the reality. My topic is On the Autobiographic Color in The Catcher in the Rye. The whole thesis consists of 5 parts.

The title of my paper is On the Significance of Context in Translation from the Perspective of Mistranslation. I choose this as my topic due to the following reasons. There are many factors causing mistranslation in the process of translation.Language connects with culture and culture background decides the deep meaning of the language.As we all know,different languages are on behalf of different cultures,in some way we can say translation means different languages’ conversions.In the process of translation, translators may be influenced by their mother tones and the accept abilities of the second language.Different context of culture knowledges,code of conducts and emotion behaviors will influence translator’s translation.Whether translator can correctly understand the context of language or not.The policy,economy and culture are three major factors causing mistranslation.So in the process of translation translators should combine specific context with translation.For the above facts, I select the subject of“On the Significance of Context in Translation from the Perspective of Mistranslation”as the title of my paper.The paper is divided into four parts.Chapter one is the introduction of whole paper, including context was firs put forward by Malinowski and the definition of translation.Chapter two mainly states the reasons of mistranslation and states the importances of analyzing context in the process of translation.Then draws a conclusion that there are many factors influence translator’s translations.Chapter three analyze three aspects,which includes context of utterance,context of situation and context of culture these three major aspects.After giving many mistranslation examples,it analyses the importances of context in the process of translation.The last part is the conclusion of this paper.
