参赛选手注意事项

本次“学习郭明义—我心中的雷锋”演讲比赛包括主题演讲和即兴演讲，主题演讲根据主题是有准备不是很难，但是即兴比赛是当场抽题马上就开始讲了，没有准备时间的。题目范围是全方面的内容：“包括20xx年经典事件和话题，人们关注的现状以及对学校的评估”。语气，语速，篇章结构都比较难把握。

如何做好主题演讲和一分钟即兴演讲？

具体方式：主题演讲完后，参赛选手从主持人手里抽题目，抽到马上演讲，时间为一分钟，最后评委综合打分评选。

示范：

主持人：请**同学抽题，准备10S开始答题--

A同学：大家好！我抽到的题目是"关心"。说起来关心，我们会很快想到父母。我的妈妈对我的关心实在是无微不至，从每日三餐到学习困难，从我的喜怒哀乐到身上的针线活。妈妈对我的关心让我明白：妈妈非常疼爱我；我的好朋友小王也很关心我……

人是需要别人的关心的，这样才会感觉到生活的快乐。

除此之外，我们每一个人还有两种关心的权利：一，自己关心他人的权利；二，自己关心自己的权利。而这两项关心，平时在更多的时候，被爸爸妈妈剥夺了。爸爸妈妈虽然你们很关心我，但你们应该明白我已渐渐长大了，我会懂得关心自己了，我学会关心他人了。我们每个人当然也都应该学会关心自己、关心别人，这样，我们就一定会成为一个受欢迎的人。与此同时，我们的集体会变得更可爱，生活也会变得更美好，世界也会变得更精彩！

Success

Every body wants to succeed. But when it comes to the question that which factor leads to success, opportunity or hard-work, different people will offer different answers. In my view, both hard work and opportunity eventually matters. For one thing, no pains, no gains. Without exerting oneself, one could never expect to achieve success. One is likely to succeed only when one has worked with whole-hearted devotion. For another thing, man proposes, god disposes. Only by seizing and making the best use of opportunity available, one can succeed surely. Opportunity and hard-work, they are the twins that contribute to success together. We must work hard and get prepared in order that when opportunities come, we can meet and make full use of them. Only in this way can we succeed one day.

Woman

More confident

It seemed that women were in a low position in the ancient society. Actually, in some aspects, women are weaker than men. For one thing, many jobs which can easily be done by men can hardly be done by women. Moreover, women were always more emotional than men, which was not good for dominating the society. So women were considered as servicers. However in nowadays’ society, women become more and more confident. They realize that women are certainly as intelligent as men if they are given equal opportunities of education, and they are also important in all human activities. I think this change is a big progress in human cultural development and we should insist on gender equality for the balance and steadiness of our society.

Death

Accept death

It is normal for human to be afraid of death. However, if you realize the deep meaning of death, you may find death is not terrifying but respectable. First of all, death is a natural process that every life has to face. It is a special festival just like birthday. Actually, people start to make preparations for death from their birthday. Secondly, death teaches us the value of life. We spend our whole lives to find the real value of life and try to make our death meaningful. Last but not least, death also means a new life, which can achieve the creativity and the cultural continuity of human society. All in all, if there is no death, maybe most of us will not cherish our lives. So why not try accepting death?

Government

Ideal type government

Different people have different opinions on ideal type government. But for me, ideal type government should have the following characteristics at least. First of all, it must be a service type government, which means what policy it makes and what measures it adopts are all for people’s benefits. Secondly, it must be honest to the public, which means it should give publicity to all things, whether they are right or not. Thirdly, it must be fair to every one, whether they are reach or powerful or not. But how can government do that? There are two ways. One is the sense of responsibility. Serving for people must be always put in the fist place. The other one is laws. Government officials must behave themselves according to laws strictly. I really hope our government can become the government like that, and let’s look forward to it together.

Language

Web language

Nowadays, with the development of the Internet, there came a kind of language called Web Language. Many people use it in their writing and speaking. Some people even speak Chinese mixed with English words. In my opinion, web language has both advantages and disadvantages. On one hand, some people may appreciate its humor and think it of special help in expressing themselves. On the other hand, it is helpless for people to communicate or learn English. People may get their idea confusing, leaving other people at a loss as to the meaning. Besides, in some aspects, it is against the Chinese grammar rule, which does no good to the development of traditional Chinese language. So personally, I don't think it good to use this kind of language.

Violence

Teenagers’ violence

According to some surveys, more and more teenagers tend to deal with problems violently. In my opinion, there are several reasons. Firstly, it’s may because their family doesn’t care them enough and their parents don’t give them good family education. Secondly, the carelessness of schools may also cause this problem. Last but not least, the social reasons such as violent computer games and violent films can lead to teenagers’ violence as well. So how can we reduce the number of this kind of teenagers? I think the most important thing is to improve the education from their family and schools. Moreover, government should prevent the unhealthy information appearing in the public as possible as they can. I believe with the cooperation of family, schools and government, teenagers can grow up healthier and healthier.

Gender equality

Should men and women be equal? This is a much talked question nowadays. Some hold that men are superior to women in many ways. For one thing, many jobs which can easily be done by men can hardly be done by women. And for another, most of the world famous people are found to be males. Moreover, the whole human society seems to have all along been dominated by men only. But personally, I think men and women should be equal. It is not only because women are certainly as intelligent as men if they are given equal opportunities of education, but also they are equally important in all human activities. Our human society would definitely have stopped to exist without either of the sex. So is there any reason that men and women should be treated differently?
