Work summary

I’m XXX, a graduate student from XXX University. My major is Electrical Automation. I will graduate in July next year. Before I applied for graduate study, I worked in XXX for over a year, I have some design experience in my last job, As an intern, I came to XXX in November 17. Counting on my fingers, I have stayed here for about four weeks. In here I make a brief summary for this four weeks practice work.

First of all thanking you for giving me this internship opportunity, I had a chance to begin my career in advance, at the same time; I took part in the two weeks’ training about XXX. During the training, I was inquisitive and tried to improve myself. Every day I seriously record the knowledge our teacher

explained, while studying specification related to automation design at night so as to prepare for future design work. Meanwhile, I seized every chance to learn from colleagues who participate in projects, in this way, the technology of automation and ability of practice had been improved.

In this way, I comprehensively studied the drawing of Automation design, and understood the Culture and regulations of our company; I am skilled in the using CAD, Office Software. Although I can't log on the system of XXX, XXX, I know how to use them. For instance, I know how to create a loop diagram with XXX.

Moreover, I pay attention to the relationship with colleagues. We learn from and help each other; I would take initiative to do something, when

encountering some problems that I couldn’t resolve, I usually ask and learn from them.

In short, during the period, I have grown up a lot, both in work, and the way of getting along with others. I had become more mature and stable. Consciously, I feel I have reached the company's requirements and are still growing and improving. In here I gave a summary for passing probation. I would like to contribute my knowledge, energy and enthusiasm to XXX.

第二篇：英文工作总结

As a new staff of xxx, I took a two-day training program on July 8th and July 9th. In the program, I got a clear idea of the development and the basic operation structure about our company. Comply with the company development direction, I also made my own career development plan in the near future.

Our company xxx is a global company and the largest international engineering design, purchase, project execution management service provider in China.

According to the introduction of president xxx, our company already has over 2200 staffs in China now and plans to enlarge the staff population to 5000 until 20xx. Thus we can see our company is taking a very high speed to develop in China. Besides, I got to know our company businesses include Hydrocarbons, petroleum and gas, metallurgical and mining, power, basic infrastructure construction and environment engineering etc. As a whole, I think xxx is a young company but with great potential. Its increasing strength is bringing us a lot of learning and practicing opportunities.

As for myself, I feel glad to join the Hydrocarbons department to work as an assistant piping engineer. Although I just graduated from the university, I have made my mind to try my best to accomplish each working task and take every opportunity to cultivate myself to be an experienced, highly skilled engineer in the first place, thus making myself prepared for the more challenged work in the future.

From July 12th, our new staffs took an engineering software training program. In this program, we learnt how to use those drawing software such as Microstation, PDS, Auto CAD which will be very useful in the future work. Through this training, I grasped the basic engineering software application skill.

The training tutors are all very experienced engineers. Under their guidance, we learnt how to use those software to draw pictures. During the process, our new staffs also discussed to solve problems when meeting with difficulties, from which I felt how it is important to work with other people.

I think this training is very important and meaningful because it broadened what we have learnt in school before. This training provided us with opportunity to

combine the theory we learnt in school with practice skills needed in real work. Also, the training made me realize I still have to learn a lot to enable myself competent for real work requirement. Although I have got to know the basic application methods of those software, based on this, I will continue to do research on them because the software is like the weapon of an engineer. Only if we are able to make use of them well, we can do great engineering design work.
