straightly

① 句子结构不完整,缺少主语或谓语;

③ 单词拼写错误;

④ 动词、名词、形容词词性辨析不清,主格和宾格不分;

⑤ 遗漏或错用系动词或助动词;

3)结构合理:一般2段或3段。按照思路分段,会让老师一目了然;

些逻辑词: firstly,secondly,finally,In the end,But(However), so(therefore),for one thing, Besides, also, In addition, What’s more, What’s worse, Personally, In my opinion, In a word ,of course, By the way, On the other hand, As a result, To be honest, As everyone knows(As we all know), According to… As for等。

It’s+adj(easy、good、necessary)for sb. to do sth.;with the help of the teacher, ?;倒装句以及定语从句、和宾语从句等。

When I was small and my grandmother died, I couldn't understand why I had no tears. But that night when my dad tried to cheer me up, my laughs turned into crying. So it came as no surprise to learn that researchers believe crying and laughing are controlled by the same part of the brain. Just as laughing has many health advantages, scientists are discovering that so does crying.

Whatever helps us to reduce pressure is important to our emotional health, and crying seems to work well. One study found that 85 percent of women and 73 percent of men report feeling better after crying.

Besides, tears attract help from other people. Researchers agree that when we cry, people around us become kinder and friendlier and they are more ready to provide support and comfort. Tears also enable us to understand our emotions better; sometimes we don't even know we're very sad until we cry. We learn about our emotions through crying, and then we can deal with them.

Just as crying can be healthy, not crying---holding back tears of anger, pain or suffering---can be bad for physical health. Studies have shown that too much control of emotions can 1ead to high blood pressure, heart problems and some other illness. If you have a health problem, doctors will certainly not ask you to cry.

2

But when you feel like crying, don't fight it. It's a natural, healthy and emotional response.

I don't know how it is that when I go to a post office I always seem to find myself in a line behind someone who has some long and complicated business to do. Having only come in to buy a couple of stamps, I am obliged to wait patiently while an old lady takes ten minutes to complete a form that a child could do in one. People in other lines move quickly forward to take their turns and are served by cheerful clerks. Sometimes, feeling that I cannot bear waiting in my motionless line any longer, I decide to join another one. It may be longer, but at least it is moving. This always turns out to be the worst thing I could have done. Not only have I now lost my place in the first line but the one I am in now slows to a stop. An angry argument suddenly develops between the clerk and the customer at the counter, or information is asked for which results in the clerk having to ask a senior official or, if it's a particularly difficult problem, disappear into a back room. Why it takes him so long, I don't know. Perhaps he has a quick snack, but, no, that can't be right because when at last my turn comes, he pushes forward a printed sign, saying "Position Closed" and without a smile says, "Sorry, going to lunch"

Tom goes everywhere with Catherine Green, a 54-year-old secretary. He moves around her office at work and goes shopping with her. "Most people don't seem to mind Tom," says Catherine, who thinks he is wonderful. "He's my fourth child," she says. She may think of him and treat him that way as her son. He moves around buying his food, paying his health bills and his taxes, but in fact Tom is a dog.

Catherine and Tom live in Sweden, a country where everyone is expected to lead an orderly life according to rules laid down by the govemment, which also provides a high level of care for its people. This level of care costs money.

People in Sweden pay taxes on everything, so aren't surprised to find that owning a dog means yet more taxes. Some people are paying as much as 500 Swedish kronor in taxes a year for the right to keep their dog, money that is spent by the government on dog hospitals and sometimes medical treatment for a dog that falls ill. However, most such treatment is expensive, so owners often decide to offer health and even life premium for their dog.

In Sweden dog owners must pay for any damage their dog does. People in the past made clay-pottery because they needed it for their lives. They used the pots they made for cooking, storing food, and carrying things from place to place. Pottery was so important to the early culture that scientists now study it to leam more about ancient civilizations. The more advanced the pottery in terms of pictures, materials and making, the more advanced the culture itself. The artisan who makes pottery in North America today use his or her skill and imagination to create items that are beautiful as well as useful, turning something ordinary into something special.The potter uses one of the Earth's most basic materials, clay. Clay can be found almost anywhere. Good pottery clay must be free from all small stones and other hard materials that would make the potting steps difficult. Most North American artisan potters now buy ready-made clay in stores, but some find the clay they need right in the earth, close to where they work. The most important tools potters use are their own hands; however, they also use wooden modeling tools, plain wire, and sponges. Plain wire is used to cut away the finished pot from its vase on the potter's wheel.

After a finished pot is dried of all its wet part in the open air, it is placed in a kiln and fired. The first firing hardens the pottery, arid it is then ready to be glazed and fired again.

For areas where they do not want any glaze, such as the bottom of the pot, artisans paint on melted wax that will later bum off in the kiln. They then pour on the liquid glaze and let it run over the clay surface, making any kind ofdesigns that they want.

C. They dig it from the earth. D. They exchange for it.

44. According to the author, what do potters use to remove the pot from the wheel?

I would like to host two British students in our spacious and neat house, with a stream flowing in front and a hill behind, which sees a beautiful enviroment. I think my family can communicate with them easily, for my parents are English teachers. In addition, I had a wonderful experience last year when I hosted two Australian students. Last but not least, my father can drive them to visit some nearby scenic spots. I'm looking forward to receiving them, hoping that they can enjoy my company.

The passage is about a lecture on a fictional creature given by Mr Whitson, who fails the whole class in the test for their blind obedience and holds the view that students should question actively instead ofblindly following.(38 words) The story reminds me of the first English class when I was in Senior One. When the class began, in came Miss Liu, our English teacher. To my surprise, though she spoke English during the whole period, I could figure out what she meant, which increased my interest in learning English.At the end of the class, she asked me to retell the text. In a trembling voice, I did it in broken English, which I felt ashamed of However, she praised me for my courage to perform in front of the class, adding that my pronunciation was good.

I will never forget the English class because Miss Liu taught us that by taking an active part in class and enjoying it, we would make progress. (125 words) Possible version 2:

Mr. Whitson, a science teacher, told his students, who all failed in the test, that they should maintain doubts in their minds when they are learning by showing them a made-up creature on the first day ofclass. (38 words)

I had a similar experience. When I was in Grade Seven, our science teacher, Mr. Li, presented us an experiment on how the electricity can be produced. He rubbed a plastic stick on a piece of fur and put the stick on our hair, which made our hair stick up like needles. All the students were attracted by the amazing phenomenon. Mr. Li did the experiment again. But we never saw the same result as we had seen before. Mr. Li asked us to explain it. Nobody could answer. Then Mr. Li said that the plastic stick which he had shown the first time was wet with water in the second time. We failed to answer because we didn't pay enough attention to the experiment. From this lesson, I know that science needs careful observation and any detail can make a difference.(135 words)
