From the picture we can see a family of three walking on a long red carpet. The son, well dressed, waves proudly in the middle while the father behind bends forward to hold the jacket and the mother in front rolls out the carpet, sweating.

It shows a common phenomenon nowadays that children are the focus of families, shouldering the hope of their parents. Parents arrange everything for their children and spare no effort to pave the way for their success. As a consequence, children become so reliant on their parents that they have no independent thought or creative ideas.

Such a situation is of great concern. In my opinion, overprotection and too much care are extremely bad for children's development. Instead of doing everything for them, parents should encourage their children to overcome difficulties and inspire them to develop by themselves. Only in this way can they grow up to be independent and become truly successful.

2012 Mind Your Behavior in Public palaces freshness and beauty of spring, with the sun shining and birds singing. When I was enjoying the fantastic scenery around, something unpleasant caught my eye. A young couple in a boat were eating, talking and laughing loudly as if they were the only people in the world. What's worse, they spat and even threw rubbish into the lake, totally ignoring the noticeable sign "No Littering" nearby. What a shame!

Such behavior left me deep in thought. If all visitors to the Fairy Lake Park do as the couple did, the lake will be severely polluted and soon turned into a huge dustbin. I think all of us should mind our behavior in public places. Only in this way can we live in more comfortable and beautiful surroundings.

Great Changes

I am deeply impressed by the great changes that have taken place in the school over the past three years．

On May 12, 2008, a severe earthquake destroyed almost everything in the school, leaving deadly-damaged buildings. It is now however, taking on a new look. Tall buildings have been put up, including classroom and laboratory buildings, and a library. These is also a newly-built standard playground. In the new environment, teachers and students are living happily and working hard. It is really amazing that the once-ruined place has now been turned into a beautiful school, full of life. Obviously, without the help of the whole society, there would be no new school today. It is love and concern that have brought about the great changes. Many hands make light work. We can work wonders if we unite as a family, caring for each other and helping those in need. Union is strength. 2010

As we know, the global water shortage is becoming increasing severe mainly due to global

warming, environmental pollution and the ever-increasing population. Therefore, it’s a high time we did something about it.

Firstly, an effective way, I think, is to reserve water in a scientific way for future use. Secondly, new methods need to be developed to use the existing water resources, for example, turning sea water into fresh water. Thirdly, we must stop water pollution by law. Last but not least, it’s

everyone responsibility to make good use of water, such as recycling and saving water in our daily life.

In conclusion, people around the world should be aware of the real situaiton of water shortage, protect the present water resources and explore potential ones scientifically.

I Want to Smile There are many advantages of smiling. It can not only make us happy, but also please others. If we smile at life, life will smile on us in return. So I want to smile at all whenever and wherever possible, First, I would like to smile at my parents because they have given me life and take all the trouble to bring me up. They arrange almost everything for me. With their help, I have made great progress. I would like to say "Thank you" to them with a smile. Then my smile should go to myself, for only in this way can I gain more confidence in smiling my troubles away and live a better life. In a word, let's greet every day with a smile. Tomorrow is another day.

是啊！诚信是清泉。

我们生活的世界太需要这样的清泉，我们的周围有太多的欺骗和谎言，我们多么想拥有一片承诺于人，守信于人的蓝天，有人因为欺骗而失去了最珍贵的友谊，有人因为谎言而众叛亲离，也有人因为欺骗而走上了生与死的边缘，试问，我们身边没有欺骗，那该有多好啊！有人为了信守承诺而至死不渝，那桃园里的三拜首，岂能忘记？关老爷的诚信又怎样？面对高官厚禄，面对加官进爵，他毅然过五关斩六将，留下千古美名，只为一个"信"字。

诚信是玉，是一块价值连城的宝玉。

它有着玉的清洁，它有着玉的高贵，它更有玉的坚贞，历来文人学士以玉为友，以玉为伴，这就是玉与信的融合吧！他们在玉的身上学到了信，一个传唱千古的立身准则。"言而无信，不知其可"。古人也有无信的代表，一代豪杰吕布，手持方天化戟，身骑赤兔烈马，那是何等威风，何等的英雄，可到头来，却为一个"信"字搭上了身家性命，他把承诺别人的话当作儿戏，只仗自己一身好武艺，那是他愚啊！那是他无信啊！假若给他一个机会，一个从信开始的机会，历史或许真的要重写。

诚信是花，是一花一世界的豪语。是的，我们的生活更需要鲜花来装点，我们的人生更需要鲜花来陪伴，陶渊明先生为了实现自己心中的诺言，与菊花结缘，他守望着那一棵棵诚实的菊花，活的多么自在，又怎愿与那充满欺骗，黑暗的统治势力同流合污？他做不到，他也不想做到，因为有那诚信的山菊为他作伴，他生活得很充实，很自然。

在这片诚信的蓝天，不需要欺骗，不需要谎言，要的只是那清澈的泉，坚贞的玉，芬芳的花，因为在它们身上我们看到了一个字--"信"。

看！诚信的蓝天下站着三个人，你、我、他。

若汝代人购彩票命中五百万，汝欲何之？或私吞？或对半分？抑或全数予人？

夫人之相与，俯仰一世，所惑者甚多，或为宫室之美，或为妻妾之奉，或为所识者羡我，而失其本心。人之初，皆有诚信之心，然所惑者甚多，而渐迷之，卒失其本心。

古有痴者，拾遗于路，捡之而伫于原地以待其主，其主至，还之。其主欲赠以钱财以谢之，不受。其真痴也？其真贤也。苟非吾之所有，虽一毫而莫取。汝以诚信待人，人亦将以诚信还之。

然欺人者何也？如和珅也。

乾隆年间，和珅为帝所宠，六部除工部皆为其掌。然其在其位而不谋其政，以奸邪之心待之。享贿赂而贪国家之财，其私产堪比国库，其宫室之华胜于皇宫。乾隆既逝，嘉庆即位，察其腐败而以极刑处之，昔日之繁华终于牢狱之中，何也？为人臣而不诚乎，于人上属而不信乎，卒身死人手，而为万世所诟。

其盛时，人人算而欲求于他，虽风光无限而实为寡助之至。虽入狱也，其身无可求，人人弃之，可谓悲也。况其所贪，卒入外人之手，于其身也，分文不名，可谓悲也。反观痴者，虽不占一文，而与人交好，无愧于心。人生若此，可以无悔矣。

诚信，非独钱财也。

吴三桂三易其主，为人谋而不忠乎。先待明朝，又随李自成，再降清朝，卒自立为王，然其结局如何？身死人手也。其易主，为不信乎，背主而自立，不诚乎。因其乏诚信，故无人敢与为谋，卒孤立无援而卒。

文天祥为元兵所困，不失其本心，既不虚以委蛇于元朝，亦不叛其所侍之宋朝，留下一片丹心为后人所颂。

其二者皆以亡终，然吴三桂之亡，令人耻之，文天祥之死，为后人颂之，皆因诚信有无而定。由此可见诚信之重。

诚信如人之魂，若乏之，不过行尸走肉而已。汝贪人之五百万，虽钱财富而精神贫，可谓因小失大，吾未见其明也。反之，将其还于应得之人，汝不至穷困潦倒，日子如常也，然汝精神将富之。

诚信，人之本也。钱财，身外之物也。遇身外之物，或暂欣欣然，然卒有所倦之日。因将所倦之物而失其本心，吾未见其明。反观能守其本心者，虽穷而怡然自乐，夫复何求？

至此既明：人于世，必守其诚信之本心。

汩汩的小溪汇流成海，那是团结在召唤；

累累的果实压弯了枝头，那是谦逊的教导；

古往今来，多少贤人先哲则用自己的行动，向我们宣告诚信的魅力。 然而，你诚信了吗？

若面对由你垫资支付的500万巨额彩票，你会如何选择呢？是义无反顾、绝对诚信地交给彩民，还是理直气壮要求两家平分，抑或是独吞巨款，逍遥此生？调查之中，后两种选择竟成为主流。

究竟是什么造成了当今社会如此严重的诚信危机呢？在我看来，金钱至上的价值观和高尚信仰的缺失是罪魁祸首。

当市场经济的大潮汹涌澎湃而来，我们所怀念的那个时代就一去不复返了。物欲横流的世界里，似乎"金钱是万能的"成了绝对真理，每个人为了金钱从早奔波到晚，从青年奔波到老年。所谓"诚信"，似乎与利益成了反比关系。若垫资支付的彩票中了5000元，相信很多人会把奖金还给彩民；若中了5万元，这个人数就会大大减少；50万，500万呢？结果就可想而知了。在金钱面前，欲望将诚信压缩，将贪婪放大，从而衍生了可怕的诚信危机。

另一方面，高尚信仰的缺失也对诚信危机起了推波助澜的作用。高尚的信仰如灯塔，可以照亮我们的心，指引前程。如若没有，就会在漫漫长夜中迷失方向。诚信作为古往今来中华民族的传统美德，一直让我们知道该走向何处。如今，这盏明灯渐渐暗淡，甚至在有的人心中熄灭，反其道而行之，利用别人的诚信为自己谋利。

今年52岁的陶彩芬大姐是淮安市一名普通市民，每天清晨她走街串巷，卖豆腐供儿子上大学，维持生计。一天，她拾到一个装有1700元现金的皮包。在辗转找到失主后，失主竟说包里本有8100元现金，要求陶大姐赔偿不见了的钱。这件事经新闻媒体报道后引起轩然大波。很多人同陶大姐一样不明白，为啥做了诚信的好事却还沦落到现在这个下场呢？失主这样的行为，不仅会使依旧保有诚信的人们寒心，而且进一步加剧了整个社会的诚信危机。

可这并不能成为我们不相信诚信的理由。作为社会的一份子，每个人都应该尽到自己的责任，用心去维护诚信。我们，应当在诚信的灯光指引下，大步向前，走回过去那个纯粹而诚信的时代。这不是时代的倒退，而是心灵的升华。

我诚信，我无悔。
