I. Have you ever watched the popular TV drama named fengzhongqiyuan? II. Do you know the name of the clothes in that drama?

If your answer is hanfu, congratulations! You are absolutely right!

I. But do you known Hanfu is not only the clothes of Han Dynasty, but also

the ethnic costumes of Han nationality?

II. Do you known why Hanfu become more and more popular nowadays?

Today I’d like to share the history and the current significance of Hanfu then you may answer my question.

I. So let’s start with the history of Hanfu.

A Hanfu has a very long history more than four thousand years; origins

of it can be traced to ancient times.

B Hanfu was once forced to die in the Qing Dynasty because the

political authorities, they want to weaken the national consciousness of people so they can easier control them by this way.

C Hanfu appeared again in 2003 in the Hanfu cultural renaissance, it is

also a part of the Chinese Cultural Renaissance Movement.

II. Now we’ve learned about the history of Hanfu, I’m going to move on the current significance of Hanfu. I am going to demonstrate three points about it.

A Firstly, Hanfu can carry forward the Chinese traditional culture to the

world, it let us to deal with the global cultural shock confidently.

B Secondly, Hanfu helps us to rebuild the etiquette of our country. We

may become more polite and our society may become more friendly.

C Finally, Hanfu can help us to rebuild the national spirit and the

civilization interpreting standard.

Conclusion

I. So today we’ve learned two aspects of Hanfu, its history and its current significance.

II. I hope you can pay more attention to Hanfu after my informative speech.
