展前准备

第1式:大肆宣传。包括DM单、公司手册、户外广告及网页宣传等。另外,可在会场向采购商提供录影带、光盘、产品单页、价目表、经销人的名片等。(以上各种载体上电话号码、网址、传呼、邮编、地址等基本联络方式不能遗漏。)

第2式:选择展位。展位直接对参展效果产生影响。一般那些人流量比较大、甚至是正对展会大门的展位,是参观者的必经之路。

第3式:撒网埋伏。在报名参展后,应根据自身的产品定位,最大范围内邀请潜在客户,为满载订单而归埋下伏笔。

展中执行

第4式:高手出动。有些选派人员,可能较熟悉业务,但在英文和接待方面有所欠缺,导致在签证面试、境外买家沟通时出现困难。所以,企业必须选派在整个业务团队中综合素质能力最强、英语水准较高的工作人员。

第5式:突出特色。参展时,企业要根据所参加展会的特点,选择适合买家的最大优势产品。比如,一家生产西饼、面包、蛋糕的烘焙企业,在展品选择上可不必全部展出三种产品,而选择其中最有特色的产品,这样会给买家带来“专业”之感。

第6式:再张声势。参展期间,应当把握展会现场的宣传机会,制作看板、宣传资料及小礼品,给采购商留下深刻印象。

第7式:确保后勤。参展时,后勤安排往往被许多展商忽略,其实参展只是业务启动的第一步,后来的沟通才是生意能否成功的关键。企业应做好展期的后勤安排,包括解决工作人员的吃住等生活问题,让其全身心地投入。

展后跟进

第8式:趁热打铁。参展仅是与客户建立关系的第一步。在展会结束后,业务员要趁热打铁,做好业务跟进,最大可能地捕获订单。

第9式:会后分析。展会结束后,相关人员要做好如下工作:展出效果分析,统

计参展费用,观众群体分析,调查问卷分析,业务技巧总结,竞争对手分析,媒介反应分析等。

第10式:穷追不舍。保存好到访但意向不强的客户资料,保持定期联系,不断维持和更新客户对品牌的了解,不断提高客户对品牌的信心。

序 言

英语是我们外贸人最常用的外国语种,但想说一口流利的英语不是人人都能做到的,毕竟不是每个做外贸的人都是学英语出身。尤其是在参加展会时,需要跟买家面对面的沟通,如果英语很流利,跟买家沟通很畅通,那拿到定单的机会就会增加很多。

英语是一项需要我们平时的日积月累的学习作业,很多时候要强迫自己死记硬背一些常用口语及销售用语,然后结合语境去套,同时再多看一些英文原版的电影,多上一些英语学习网站去听去看,相信坚持一年以上,你的英语一定会大幅提高。

今天我们特意总结了一些在参展时可以用到的英语,还有常用英语口语等,以助每位参展人在展会上因为很棒的英语而获得买家青睐。

在本书的倒数第二节,有关于练习英语口语的技巧,非常实用,可以重点一阅。

What about the price? 对价格有何看法?

英语口语的练习技巧

(1). The reason we study spoken English is to make oral communications, so the order of importance of oral English study should be followed: Fluency, Accuracy, and Appropriateness. That is to say, we have to pay more attention to practical communicating ability instead of only laying emphasis on the grammatical correctness.

我们学习口语目的是为了与别人进行交流,所以英语口语中的几个要素的重要次序应为:流利-准确-恰当.

(2). Try to find some partners practicing oral English together and English corner is a good place as where we may exchange English study experience, widen our sight and improve interest in English.

寻找学伴一起练习口语.英语角是个不错的地方,在那我们不但可以练习口语,还可以交流英语学习经验,开拓视野,提高英语学习兴趣.

(3). If English partners are not easy to get, then we have to create an English environment ourselves by speaking English to ourselves.

如果找不到学伴或参加英语角的机会很少,那么也没有关系,有很多种方法可以自己练习口语.比如通过自己对自己将英语来创造英语环境.可以对自己描述所看到的景物,英语口述自己正在作的事情.

(4). This method is very effective and easy to insist on--interpreting Chinese-English novels or books. First we read the Chinese parts and then try to interpret them into English and then compare our interpretation with the original versions in the novels or books so that we can find out the mistakes, shortcomings and progresses in our interpretation.

这种方法非常有效且很容易坚持---口译汉英对照(或英汉对照)的小说或其它读物.首先我们先读汉语部分,然后逐句直接口译成英文,完成一小段后,去看书上的对应英文部分并与我们的口译进行比较,我们马上可以发现我们口译的错误,缺点和进步. 请注意:开始要选择较简单的读物,且应大量做,只做一两篇效果是不明显的.开始可能较慢,费时较多,但请坚持,整体上这是一个加速的过程. 高级阶段请计时练习,以加快反应速度和口语流利度.

作为成人学英语,记忆力差是个拦路虎,作复述练习或背诵课文往往力不从心,或者由于词汇量太小觉得直接作口译太难,那么这样做可以非常有效地解决这个问题::先学习英文课文,

通篇理解透彻后,再来看汉语译文, 把汉语译文口译回英文. 这样等于既作复述练习又作口译(语)练习,可谓一石双鸟!

这样作的好处:

1. 自己就可以练习口语,想练多久,就练多久.

2. 始终有一位高级教师指出您的不足和错误---英文原文.

3. 题材范围极广,可以突破我们自己的思维禁锢,比如我们总是喜欢谈论我们自己熟悉的话题,所以我们总是在练习相同的语言,进步当然就缓慢了.

4. 选择小说,幽默故事或好的短文阅读,使我们有足够的兴趣坚持下去.

5. 有一些我们在直接学习英语课文时被我们熟视无睹的地道的英语用法会被此法发掘出来.

6. 对所学知识和所犯错误印象深刻.这等于我们一直在作汉译英练习,很多英文译文是我们费尽心思憋出来的,所以印象相当深刻.比直接学习英文课文印象要深的多.

7. 经过大量的练习,你会有这样的感觉:没有什么东西你不能翻译,你的翻译水平大大加强了,你的口语表达力大大提高了!

(5). Interpreting what you hear---Changing Roles: Three people make a group: one speaks Chinese, one speaks English acting as the foreigner, one acts as interpreter. Then change roles. This is a good interpreting training method and is good for studying from one another. In addition, it may improve the responding ability and speed of students. The advanced stage of this method is simultaneous interpretation.

听译法-角色互换:三人一组,模拟翻译实战.一人将汉语,一人将英语,扮演老外,一人作翻译.练习一段时间后互换角色.这是一种非常好的翻译训练方法,也是很好的相互学习,取长补短的方法.而且可大大提高反应速度和能力.此法的高级阶段为同声传译,我们可以在听广播或看电视或开会时,把所听内容口译英文.

(6). Oral composition and 3-minute training method: This method is suitable for intense training. Making an oral composition about a certain topic for one minute the first time and record the composition on tape at the same time. Then listen to the composition and find out the room for improvement. Then make the same composition for two minutes for the second time and also record it. And at last repeat the above-mentioned for three minutes. 口语作文和3分钟训练法:此法适用于强化训练.找好一个题目作一分钟的口语作文,同时将其录音.听录音,找出不足和错误,就此题目再作两分钟的的口语作文,同样录音,再听并找出

不足与进步,继续作三分钟口语作文.这是高级口语训练,效果不俗.

(7). Retelling exercise: Retell some articles or English stories in our own words.

复述练习:最简单也是最有效的口语学习方法.从治本上攻克英文的方法,特别适合初学者和中级学者,用自己的话背颂所听的英语故事或文章短文,应该大量地练习.

(8). If possible, we may read some English tongue twisters loudly and quickly with one or two cakes of candy in our mouth (just as the Chinese cross-talk actors do.) to train our oral cavity muscle and tongues suitable for English pronunciation.

如果可能我们也可以大声且快速朗读英文绕口令(就象相声演员练嘴),还可以同时口中含块糖以加大强化训练的力度.这样来强我们的口腔肌肉迅速适应英文发音,使我们的口语相当流利,清晰,而且还有自信.例如:

☆A big black bug bit the back of a big black bear. The big black bear bit back the big black bug.

☆This fish has a thin fin; That fish has a fat fin; This fish is a fish that has a thinner fin than that fish.

(9). Paying more attention to phrases and small words as one major shortcoming of Chinese English (especially Chinese oral English) is that Chinese students tend to use big words in their oral language, but the idiomatic oral English is abundant with short, active and vivid phrases. And most of such phrases are made of small words.

特别注意短语(词组)和小词的运用,中国式的英语尤其是口语一个很大的缺点就是中国学生喜欢用大词,而真正地道的英语口语确是充满着短小,活泼,生动的短语,富有生气.而这些短语大部分有小词构成.

(10) Thinking in English.英语思维的培养。

1. 大量根据图片来了解生词的含义,故事的情节.这是少儿英语中常用的方法,也试用于成人.

2. 习惯于使用英-英字典而不是英-汉字典会起相当重要的作用.

3. 加强听力训练,尤其是听用英语解释英语的课程讲解.

4. 如果没有机会拥有封闭的语言环境的话, 就最好尝试一下自我封闭语言环境的创造与训练.如:强迫自己在一周内所有要表达的话,全部用英语表达.只要你能坚持一周,效果就相当明显,而无论你所表达的英语有多糟!

一个口语极强者的自述(转载)

很早就开始看F6(美剧:六人行),最开始是从起床开始,就一个人对着电脑,傻笑一天,每天吃一顿饭,傍晚和同学一起吃饭的时候,基本就不会说中国话了,被人说什么第一个反应就是英文。周末同学都回家了,更是变本加厉,因为没有人和我说话,内心独白都是F6里的各种声音,还有那种“哄笑”配乐,一个周下来,感觉人快疯了。

大学的时候是为了好玩,没想着真的用它来学英语。

后来工作了几年,因为一直野心勃勃的要去美国公干,所以从那个时候开始重新FAN F6,很长一段时间过去,学下来,感觉有些许体会了,上来冒个泡。

第一遍,带中文字幕看一遍

10季真不是个小数字,看了一遍把当初那种感觉找了回来,所谓的感觉,就是在内心独白的时候都是英语,说话的第一个反应也是英文。

第二遍,带英文字母看了一遍

我买的是60张的那种DVD,英文字母有几季还是不错的,后面的越做越差,真是没法看,就当了剧本。第二次看,基本都能听懂了,就帮着DVD校对字幕,校对的过程中,听力本身就是一个提升。

第三遍,不说你也知道了,去掉字幕,

去掉字幕有一个好处,就像丢了拐棍,你听起来就不会像看着英文字母那样一下就反映到脑子里,还要想一下,哦,这个单词是什么来着,因为我们很多时候对于掌握了的单词,突然冒出来,还是会思维停滞一下,就在这停滞的一下,新的内容又冲进来了,你就顾此失彼,到最后,前面的没想起来,后面的又忘了听,刚开始的时候是懊丧不已,因为前两遍的信心全被他给摧毁了,不过没关系,很正常的么,这个地方,你就要不停的重复听,所以你买DVD机比较好,有那个A-B重复健,可以无限重复你要听的句子,你总有想起来的那一刻吧

第三遍是最痛苦的,也是最能升华的一个阶段。

我在做第三遍的时候,是听力口语一起来的,其实这两个本来就是分不开的,

口语,要求自己强力模仿!!!!!注意这个词哦~~~不是吃干饭的,充分利用了A-B健,一个句子重复放,跟着读,然后跟着说,最后脱口而出,一点也不比他们差,甚至可以在语

气,语调上,和他们一模一样。作这一部分的时候,我犯了一个错误,就是跟着读剧本,这是十分错误的,正确的做法是,像学鸟叫一样,学他们的声音,不要把自己原来读英文的习惯带到里面去,剧本只是告诉你他们再说什么内容,只是一个提示的作用,因为他们有很多连度,四个音节,在他们嘴里常常变成了2个音节,甚至一个音就带过了,你根本就反应不过来,这也就是我们听不懂他们说话的原因,太快了,而你根本不知道他连读了,如果按照自己的读英文的习惯,永远也做不到他们一样快。所以记住,!!!!!!学他们发出的声音,而不是读他们说出的句子!!!!!!!

这第三遍,我可以用老牛拉破车来形容,实在是很慢很无聊,要花费大量的时间,特别是一开始,记得101背到我想吐,莫尼卡的那句 “THERE IS NOTHING TO TELL…”可以直接当减肥药了,一听到就想吐!!但是,有一点保证,以后老外用多快的速度,我都能听懂她在说“THERE IS NOTHING TO TELL”而且可以和她说的一样快,一样纯正的美国纽约音。兄弟们,代价惨重阿~~~~~`你可以算一下,一集大约20分钟,每句话重复10遍,那是什么概念,就是一集学下来要200分钟,折合3个多小时,如果你特别笨的话,多跟几遍,时间又上去了,我经常会思想溜号,A-B的时候不知道想什么去了,就要多重复几遍。我当初算了一下,我大约要跟到第7遍的时候才有感觉,前面不是语速慢了,就是快了,要么就是停顿不对,也可能我比较笨?加上笨的原因,加上溜号,大约有4个小时一集把.

这样我整了3季的时候,除了生词,在新天地泡吧的时候,可以和老外自由对话,心理满足了一把

过了3季,后面的7季就会块很多,因为很多句子,在你的耳朵里已经是很简单的,根本不需要重复,你要练习的只是特别难的那些长句,记不记得伦敦之行?走之前,莫尼卡的那一口气说完的长句子,呵呵,那就是最高境界,你可以脱口而出,和她一样快,一样不喘气,后面的你就不用跟了,你可以出师了~~~

但是,这是3季以后的事了,3季不过,一切免谈~~~

而且有一项工作是必须作的,是贯穿10季的工作,那就是笔记!!!

除非你的牛人,不过牛人也就不来看我这个帖子了,呵呵

笔记很重要,里面会有生词,特别是“该死的ROSS”,他在里面经常不出好词,你就查吧.

再就是俚语,很多俚语这才是地道的美语,你只有作了笔记你才有积累,最重要的是多有成就感啊,看到那么多的笔记,我的笔记可以从地板摞到写字台那么高,因为我字特别大?不是!是我做得很细!细到从头看IS的用法,把它当作一个事业来做,当作一个重整英语的

契机,好好的梳理一下自己的存货。

说实话,这也很痛苦的~~~~~看肥皂剧是很开心的,可是学肥皂剧就没那么开心了 最后,就是坚持的动力了,

我不知道别人是为什么,要学好英语,但是你的动力要足,而且经常要受受刺激,否则的话很容易坚持不下来,也不知道对你有没有用,不管怎么样,鲜花鸡蛋,统统收下了。

前面这位牛人的自身经验,只供大家参考, 并非要100%的借鉴. 其实每个人学习英语的方法都有不同,但相同的是坚持不懈的努力。

其实看美剧只是众多方法中的一种,娱乐的同时又提高自己的听力口语,但这只能应付平日的交流, 如果想在正规的场合有比较专业的表现,还需要其它学习的补充。而且不能只听不说,否则永远只能做哑巴 ,象上面牛人那样重复的发音,重复的读,这样才可见成效。 现在也有些学者会学习正规的演讲或新四,这也是可以的,但重复的听重复的学习是亘古不变的。

另外建立英语的思维也很重要,这样讲出来的英文才正宗,而且可以用这种思维去学些比较深入的英语句子,比如多看英语新闻及原版报纸,这样可以跟真正英语母语国家的人进入深入的交流。

其实英语学习没有投机取巧的道路,无论是看美剧还是听新闻,都要付出努力,都是可以把英语学的象美国人那么好。
