尊敬的各位领导、评委老师们:

大家好！

三钱粉笔，千钧重担。教师之责，任重道远。今天，我演讲的题目是：身于幽谷处 孕育兰花香。

曾记得，在读书的时候，师德高尚、学识渊博的老师，是我少女时代最靓丽的风景。 然而，当我真正走上教师工作岗位以后，我切实地感受到，教师身份普通，生活琐屑，地位平凡；我也真切地品味到，教师责任神圣，职业艰辛，压力巨大。我曾经苦恼过、迷茫过，甚至动摇过。但是，我身边的一位身残志坚的老教师的精神深深打动了我，激励着我，他的精神震撼着我——他们象蜡烛，燃烧着自己的青春；他们像春蚕，播撒着文明的薪火；他们像铺路石，谱写着生命的赞歌。今天我首先给大家讲一讲李茂江老师的故事 。

在我们风景秀丽，气候宜人的蒙山脚下，有一个小山村。村南有一处美丽的学校。每天早晨，你都会见到一位拄着双拐吃力地走在去学校路上的残疾人。他就是身残志坚，为教育事业默默奉献四十余载的李茂江老师。

李老师祖祖辈辈都生活在这个既贫穷又落后的小山村里。他的父辈们都是老实巴交的庄稼人，大字识不了几个。他的父亲在家庭比较困苦的情况下，还让他完成了高中的学业。一次偶然的机会使这位当时在村里算是高学历的他，当上了一名光荣的民办教师。他是多么的高兴啊！当他面对一个个天真烂漫，活泼可爱的孩子时，才觉得肩上的担子是多么的沉重，责任是多么的重大。但是，庄稼人得那种憨厚、朴实、倔强的性格没有让他打退堂鼓。相反，让他更加坚定了要当一名优秀教师的信念，他每时每刻都在用行动来证明自己，履行着自己的使命。

可是，就在李老师意气风发，斗志昂扬在教育战线上拼搏的时候，一个不幸降临到他的头上。一九九六年的秋天，当李老师在给学生办理学籍档案的路上，意外发生了，无情的让他失去了一条腿。他心灰意冷，想到要离开自己心爱的三尺讲台，想到要离开活泼可爱的孩子们，想到满头银发，满脸皱纹的年迈父母，想了很多很多，心情非常的痛苦和无奈。他舍不得经常踏上的三尺讲台，舍不得教师这一份职业，更舍不得可爱的孩子们！厄运并没有把他击垮，反而让他坚强了许多。他重返讲台，仍然战斗在教学的第一线。他那不服输的倔强劲，是那样的强烈，他不向命运低头的身躯，更加高大了。

李茂江老师，你是好样的！

由于身体的原因，在工作中，不乏要比常人多吃一些苦，多受一些罪。在这里我给大家举一个真实而又让人感到心酸的例子。

在一个风雨交加的早晨，李茂江老师向往常一样，吃过早饭，拄着拐杖，艰难的向学校走去。道路泥泞，在雷雨交加中前进，这时，一道闪电，一个炸雷，震得李老师头晕目眩，一下子栽倒在泥水当中，当时就头破血流。幸好有一位老农民路过，拉起了全身泥水，满脸鲜血的李茂江，搀扶着他送到了村卫生所。周围的人们都闻讯赶来，李老师的父母看到全身是鲜血和泥水的儿子时，抱头痛哭。在场的人们也都流出了激动而又心酸的泪水。

这就是李茂江老师，这就是在大家眼中身体虽然弱小残疾，但永不服输的李茂江，爱岗敬业，无私奉献为我们树立高大形象的李茂江。他是我们教师队伍里的一面旗帜，是我们学习的楷模。

一份付出就有一份收获，没有豪言壮语，只有默默奉献的他，每次测试的成绩在全镇都是名列前茅。“春蚕到死丝方尽，蜡烛成灰泪始干。”是啊！正是有了像李茂江老师这样默默无闻，无私奉献的无数教育工作者们，才托起了祖国明天的太阳。李老师的事迹把周围的人们感动了，沂蒙老区的人们也被感动了。在20xx年9月10日，

形式报道之后，先后被平邑电视台、省广播电台进行了专题采访。他的话语不多，深情的说到：“十年树木，百年树人，既然选择了这份工作，那就应该把它干好，否则对不起自己的良心。”这就是一位普通的人名教师——李茂江 ，这就是既平凡而又伟大的人民教师！

或许，青春流逝；或许，红颜易老。然而，教师毅然而决然地耕耘着“半亩方塘”，坚守三尺讲台，他们用心去工作，用爱去育人。瞧，春暖花开，教师聆听自己的足音，喜听学生远远地面带微笑叫“老师”。听，秋风苦寒，老师走进教室，陪伴那几十双充满期待的眼神；看，夜幕灯下，教师欣然拿起智慧的红笔，放飞莘莘学子那理想的风帆…… 耿耿园丁。让我们身于幽谷处 孕育兰花香！
