With the development of the modern society, various careers come into being. So it is of great importance for us to choose careers. On the one hand, the career we choose will affect the future course of our life, such as our range of friends, our choice of husbands or wives, our recreational activities, and other important aspects. On the other hand, it will also affect our emotional situations.

To make a wise decision, we have figured out many ways on how to choose right careers. First, we must have a clear knowledge of our abilities, interests and aims; then try to find out the kind of occupation in which we ca find success and satisfaction. Second, we have to weigh carefully the immediate advantages against the long-term prospect offered by the job we are considering. Finally, we’d better ask our parents, teachers, and career advisers for useful suggestions and try to take full advantage of our personal qualities and qualifications. In a word, comprehensive consideration of all the factors concerned is quite necessary.

To sum up, we should have a clear idea about the work that suits us the best. It is high time for us to make a thorough study of jobs available.
