In my eyes, it is true that the care by parents to their children's education does achieve a new height than the old time.

First, with the development of economy, humans are now living in a fully new world with better living quality. we are, may not every families, no longer afraid of such root problems like eating, dressing, so on and so forth. As a result, we are looking for new goals to achieve, to chase for which are able to make ourselves better living. There is, education, to take it as good as we can in order to get successful in the future. Hence, for the parents, who are nowadays willing to involve themselves as much possible as they are in time to their children's education before children head in the society lest being conquered while in fierce job competition.

Second, since their parents were young, they might be very keen to get knowledge but they were posed to survive first so in a word, for their kids, getting better education which is more like their unfinished dream to themselves while they were in childhood which they will never have such chances to achieve it today. Because they've known certainly that if they could have learnt more when they were in school, they will be much easier to compete with their peers. Therefore, those parents comprehend indeed how weight the education is and they will never have their children walk in the same road which they've walked.

In conclusion, due to the well relative living factors today, plus the situation in this society, parents have to be more involved in their children's education and absolutely, such an involvement is more than parents were in the past.

As the time marches into the 21st century, dramatic social changes in economy, politics and as well as education, have occurred. People now are placing an ever increasing value on education, due to the improved economic condition and awareness of education significance. Therefore, I agree with the statement that parents today do pay more attention to their children' education than parents before.

First of all, families today input more financial resources into their children's education. The tuition fees are much more expensive now than that decades ago, at present, the percentage of college graduates added to the workforce is much larger than that of ten years ago, even five years ago. According to reliable statistics conducted by Chinese newspapers, money spent on children's education accounts for a third or even a half of an average Chinese family's total expenditure in one year. Consequently, this demonstrates that parents today are investing more financially to their children's education.

Secondly, the majority of current parents were born after 1970s when the world was experiencing a profound social revolution that improved the general society level to a great extent. During that time, contemporary media like TV, radio were invented and being widely used by families in the whole world. Thus today's parents, who lived through the 70s or 80s as a child or teenager, are equipped with a more open and more informative mind. They conclude from their experience that knowledge can change one's destiny and studying helps achieve a life’s success ( a successful life). Thus present parents have a better understanding about education's importance to their children than parents in the past.
