1. 迟兰天，女性地位和女性意识的成长-《呼啸山庄》的女性主义解读； From the perspective of feminism, through analyzing the female social status under the control of the patriarchal tradition based on the author’s life experience and the social background, this paper discussed women’s status and growth of female consciousness in British Victorian Age as seen in Wuthering Heights. By analyzing the living condition of female characters in the novel, the study was to reveal how women in the Victorian Age began to challenge and fight against the traditional ideology.

2. 高继海，《呼啸山庄》的主题与叙事；Based on the narrative strategy, the article summarized the past critical evaluations of Wuthering Heights, analyzed the reasons why it was neglected in the 19th century and highly praised in the 20th century, and pointed out that the circumstance was related to the irrationalism in the novel. Then the novel’s theme of love and revenge was discussed, love being based on congruence instead of complementarities, and revenge being extremely cruel and horrible.

3.孟祥莲，《呼啸山庄》叙事策略对文本意蕴生成的独特作用；This thesis explored the effect of narrative time for text connotation in Wuthering Heights according to the summary for the strategy of narrative time. To a certain extent, this thesis supplemented the blank of comprehensive

analysis for narrative time. The integrated analysis for the strategy of narrative time in Wuthering Heights helped us find a new source of text connotation which is another road to the study of text implication.

4.孙树文，穿越时空的声音-试论《呼啸山庄》中的现代主义因素； This thesis researched the modernist factors in it, including the exploration of the warped mentality and alienation of the heroes, the symbolism technique of expression, and the description of dreams in Wuthering Heights.

一、选题的意义和研究现状

1．选题意义，难点及重点

意义是《喧哗与骚动》是福克纳第一部成熟的作品，也是作家花费心血最多、本人最喜欢的小说。本论文从对作者和小说的分析入手，通过对作者自身经历，小说写作背景和主要内容，凯蒂堕落过程等多方面的剖析，从而揭示了造成凯蒂堕落的各方面原因以及她从一名大家闺秀沦落为轻佻女子所带来的启示。

重点是从造成凯蒂悲剧的各种原因来分析家庭，社会给个体造成的影响，怎么样利用这些方面的有利条件，避免不利条件。

难点是凯蒂的性格是怎样导致了她的悲剧的。

2．与选题相关的国内外研究现状。

国内外对福克纳本人的研究，对作品的写作手法，尤其是意识流的写作手法研究较多，分析从天生弱智班吉的视角去构建全文和看待事物的独特巧妙之处。对造成凯蒂的悲剧的原因的分析也较多，但是不同的论文分析的方面不同，大多不全面。本选题从分析造成凯蒂悲剧的各方面原因入手，分析社会，家庭给个人

带来的影响以及性格决定命运的道理。
