describe your idea of an ideal job

OK, actually there are various kinds of job in the world, such as writing, teaching, designing and engineering. Of course different people will choose

differnt things as their ideal career. As to me, I guess I will choose to be a teacher in a university.

There are several reasons. In the first palce, I want to teach because I like the pace of the academic calendar. You know, two long vacations offer me a terrific opportunity for relection, writing and reasearch. Next, the following reason is I really enjoy the freedom to make my own mistake, to learn my own lessons, and then to stimulate myself as well as the students. In this way I can have the opportunity to keep on learning. Finally, being around the students who are ready to grow, to blossom, I myself will get refreshed and developed with them.

With respect to whether it would be easy to do this job. I have to say that it is not easy al all. There are quit a lot of extra work required for any teacher in order to stay competent. And they need to lean wisely to obtain more knowledge, so that thet can be the role model to their students.

Finally, I'd like to take care of the last issue. As is known to all, we now live in a competitive society. Therefore it is not easy to find a job we really fancy. However, I'm fonfident that the dream of being a teather will finally fulfilled through my continued hard work.

describe an impressive advertisement

Well, to be honest, my mind went blink at my fist glance at this topic. I haven't watched TV for ages because of all my work. And I don't even have time to give it a glace at the advertisement boards along the street. Thus there is no advertisement, at least no good commercial in my mind.

However, an impressive one occurs to me suddenly. It is till im my mind not because it is well-designed, but due to its frame for doos from the audience. I can't even count how many times I come across it everyday. It usually cuts into the middle of some interesting TV shows, which is really boring and annoying. What's more, it often lasts long and comes over and over again, that really make me throw up because I am eager to know what is going to happen next in the show. What the commercial does is just to kill the fun.

And another thing I want to add is that it is about something so-called

nutrious product, which, in my opinion, would in fact never do any good to your healthy. That probably the most significant reasong why it seems gross to me.

describe a meaningful photo you keep

OK, first I'd like to get started by saying something about what the photo is

about. Actually it is about my first journey after I started my college life. Besides me, there are five other people, who were my roommates at that time. I guess if you can see the picture right on the spot, you would probably feel how exited we were for gathering together in this metropolis.

Now moving on to the next business of when and where I took it. Well, it has been more than 6 years since I got enrolled by my university, thus I reckon that the photo was taken 6 years ago. If my memory dosen't fail me, it was on our National Day. We were eager to go out for fun. On that day we visited a lot of scenic spots, when we got to the Hongshan Square, we fond a great number of white pigeons, which appeared to be very lovely and interesting. Therefore we decided to take a photo and we asked a passenger to take for us, and we thanked for his help after that.

Finally, I'd like to explain why it is meaningful to me. The ptoto is still preserved in my album and I cherish it greatly. Of course the five are not my roommates any more. They have already started their own career individually. In my opinion, this photo is more than just a single photo, I consider it to be the symbol of our brotherhood and those unforgettable memories.

Well , that's an interesting topic. Actually I enjoy watching movies and I do believe I can share some experience and opinions with you. But it's really hard for me to pick just one. I guess I'll choose the movie "Kongfu Panda", which I watched just a few days ago. It was my tenth time to enjoy it.

Moving on to the next business of where I watched it. The first time I

watched it was in my apartment. According to my memory, I had nothing else to do at that mement and I thougt it would be useful for my listening English. To be honest, I wasn't fond of cartoon movies very much. But the fact was, I got hooked on it as soon as it stared.

It tells us a story about a panda named Pol, who is greatly attracted by

Chinese kungfu and always dreams to be a real dragon warrior one day. But that just exists in his dreams at night. However he is chosen to be the candidate dragon warrior by master oogway and awarded the mission to defeat Tailung, who is an evil role in this movie. Evryone ,including the master Shifu, consider it just an accident and the panda should not have been chosen to be the

candidate. But master oogway says:"There is no accident. You shouldn't be too concern with what was and what will be. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is mystery, but today is a gift. What you should do is just to believe, believe that you can do it". Master oogway asks shifu to make a promise that he belive the panda has the ability to win. After that, master oogway passes away. With the

effort of both the panda Pol and his master shifu, Tailung is defeated finally. And Pol becomes a real dragon warrior.

Besides vatiety of humorous materials contained in this movie, which can make you feel really funny when watching it, we can also learn a lot of profound theories. For instance, you should spare no effort to pursue your dream no

matter how many setbacks you will confront , and you must belive you can do it, the self-confidence is at least as much important as the methods you take to realize your dream. Additionally, another reason I fancy this movie so much is that I find it really helpful to my listening English.

describe a popular newspaper or magazine in your hometown

Well, I guess this topic really put me in a difficult situation. As is known to all, the technology of Internet has already permeated into our daily life, fewer and fewer people, especially the youth, are likely to subscribe newspapers. However, I'll try and choose one. 21st centry, which is under the supervision of China daily, is an English newspaper and thus greatly benefits Chinese English learners. I used to read them in my senior high.

Progressing to the next point of what it talks about. Actually, it is a quite comprehensive newspaper. Apart from the ones such as sports, science and technology, business, it alse includes a whole page of entertainment section, which provides us with the latest news about fashion, campus life, forum, language lab and so on and so on. Usually, the entertainment and the sports sections are my favourite. The sports section introduces the latest news such as the World Cup, the Olympic Games, the Europe Champions League or English Premier League.

The next point I want to make here is how popular it is. I really want to add that most of our local schools recommend their students this newspaper as supplementary reading material, and which actually commands a very good market among teenagers.

Finally, if I still have time, I'd like to explain whether I like it or not. I reckon that you can guess my answer from what I've mentioned above. In my opinion, it combines the language learning and the latest news perfectly. It is more like a newspaper especially made for senior sutudens. What it provides is just what the students are interested in.

describe one of your favourite movies

I guess I would get the ball rolling by answering what the movie is.

Actually,"Shreck" is the one that has the most appeal to me, and it left me a

deep impression. As a matter of fact, I was not fond of cartoon movies in the past. I choose shreck because I had nothing to do at that moment and I thought it

could be of some help to improve my listening English. However, I got hooked on it immediately after it started.

Shreck, maybe you know him, is an ugly monster,they say that. And yes he is due to his appearance. But he has a strong inner beauty. He risked his life to save

the beautiful but cursed girl named Fiona from a tower guarded by a firedragon. As the story developed, they fell in love with each other. The princess's curse was ended by the true love's kiss from Shreck. And then they led a happy life after that. The whole shtory has a comic end.

Concerning to the business why it is my favourite. I really have to mention that it is a sort of thought-provoking movie, from which you can learn a lot, such as you should spare no effort to pursue your true love, and you should cherish everything you currently have, or something else like that. Additionally, to be blunt, it is indeed our best choice to practise our listening English.

describe a TV program that you like the most

To be honest, my mind went blank at my first glance at this topic. You may know that because of the education system in my country, uaually little chance does student have to access some TV programs. They often get a lot of work to do even during the summer and winter vocation. In addition, it is known to all that the computer technology has already permeated into our daily life. And thus It seems the distance between the television and the folks becomes longer and longer. However, I'll choose one to depict. The name that came over to my mind is "Human and Nature", which has been broadcasted in our national TV channel for at least 15 years. it is a long serial program.

Progressing to the next question which is when I watched it. Well, I'm afraid I am not able to give you a clear-cut answer. But one thing I'm sure about is I was just a little boy at that moment.The narrator is a famous, reputable and amiable old man who has been working for the channel since even before I was born. I guess I began to fancy the grogram partly due to his tender voice and his amiability.

OK, the third point I want to make here is what this program is about. To make a long story short, it serves to reveal the relationship between human and nature. enoying it, you would get to know millions of thousands kinds of animals and vegetation that you probably have never seen before. Yes it is never

exaggerated to say that. The ones as large as whales and elephants, or as small as single-cell organism, would not only broaden your horizons but also make you feel how miraculous the nature is. After the start of "Human and Nature", soon you will find yourself are immersed into the world of flora and fauna.

Finally, in reply to the last question of why I like it the most. I suppose the significant reason is that it is a kind of thought-provoking program. Through the program, you will get a deep insight into the interactivity between the progress of our society and its impact on the ecological system. We need to keep a wise mind that the our humankind and all other creatures, are sharing the same planet——the Earth.

describe a city or a town you have been to

OK, actually there haven't many chances for me to visit a lot of cities, but I did visit one, and it left me a fantastic impression. The one I choose to depict is

Hangzhou, which is one of the most beautiful cities in China. I don't know whether you have been there before. It is a palce really worth going.

Concerning with the business of what I visited there. Needless to say, anyone who comes to this city will certainly pay a visit to the West Lake. It is famous for its beautiful love story "Madam White Snake". Besides that , the scenery there is indeed wonderful as it has been advertised. The brisk wind, the fresh air, the crystal water, all of which would probably make you fall in love with this palce at your first glance at it. Additionally, the next day, I went to another scenic spot the West Brook. It is conferred a reputation of national park by our government with the aim to highlight its natrual swamps and a great variety of flora. All I did there was just walking around and feasting my eyes with fascinating sceneries, as well as lots of exotic vegetaion I've never seen before. It is never exaggerated to say that it is a purely botanical garden.

Now moving on to the next point of what I like about the place. I suppose the most critical reason why I fancy this place so much is its ecologic environment, which really deseves imitation by other cities. Standing even in the most

prosperous area, you would probably have the illusion of standing in a greenery garden. And of course, if I get another chance, surely I will go there again. Compare two people in my family

To commence with,I 'd like to get started by looking at who the two people are. I guess I will pick my parents, with whom I have lived together for nearly 20 years.

Then, with regard to how they are similar, well, I really have to admit that in some cases they resemble greatly with each other. The most significant

similarity is that they almost have the same tast of drama broadcasted in some TV programs, and which originated from Henan Province of China. Well I don't know whether you've heard of that before. In my memory, when these kind of programs got started, they would sit quietly together and enjoy them, and they would never fight over the remote control during that time. What's more, they even share the same happiness and sadness from the play.

As to how they are different, well, this issue really puts me into a difficult situation. For they don't seem to have any apparent disparitiy. The most

impressive thing is that they used to have distinct opinions about my education. However, this point has already been forgotten since I got into university. It is totally my own choice after I crossed that line and became a college student. Finally, in answering to what I like about these two people, I suppose they love me deeply and have been taking great care of my life. Although

geographically they are far away from me, their words always come into my mind when I'm weak."Be brave my son", and I will be much braver. So deeply on my mind they are always staying with me just by my side. I really feel grateful of that

Describe a singer or a musician that you like most

So I guess I will get the ball roling by answering who the person is. The first name pops into my mind is Wong Ka kui. He is called Koma in Japan. What's more, he was the vocalist of the well-established band "Beyond".

Moving on to the business of how I Knew this person, well actually ,I can't but mention an intimate in my senior high. I can still recall clearly that the words I said to him:"What kind of songs are you listening?" So you know, I didn't like this band at all at the beginning. Howerever, even I can't believe that it was the first band who taught me what the so-called "metal music" is.

Later on, with the music flowing into my ears constantly, I gradually found the their songs are quite unique, especially the lyrics. Most of their lyric are composed around the topics: maternal love, no racial discrimination, learn to love your life, be stronger and be broaden-minded and so on and so on. Personally speaking, these themes are so meaningful that they attract me immediately. Therefore, I chose the same side with the classmate of mine.

Regrettablely this band no longer exists now because the death of him in an accident. He was deeply immersed into his performance and suddenly fell off the high stage. What a shame! It was just the songs that provided me with relaxation before the University Entrance Examination

Describe a singer or a musician that you like most

Jacky Zhang

Jacky Zhang, who is a pop singer from Hong Kong, is regarded as one of the most talented and greatest singers in China. He is the one I like the most. So far he has published more than 100 albums, and the majority of his songs are the most popular ons in both streets and KTV rooms.

The first time I listened his songs, I guess, was when I was in primary school. howerever I didn't tend to appreciate his songs at that mement. But I was deeply moved by his tender voice after I started my life in junior school, and from then on, I fell in love with his songs, no matter the ones with quick beats or slow.His voice is likely to have magical power, easily getting me immersed in his world of music. Some of his songs are translatted into English version by foreign singers. For example the song "Take me to your heart" is a cover version of Jacky's track.

Besides the great achievement accomplished by Jacky in the musical field, what really makes him charming enough is his sense of responsibility shown in life. It is known to all that he is a loyal and considerate husband and also a responsible father. He always tries his best to accompany his family members although he is bussy.

Therefore, at the bottom of my heart, Jacky is unquestionably the best singer, and I will never forget the happiness and sadness his music has brought to me.
