TO Success: Opportunity or hard-working?

Every body wants to succeed. But when it comes to the question that which factor leads to success, opportunity or hard-work, different people will offer different answers.

Some people think that opportunity is the first factor leading to success. They hold the idea, as a proverb saying, “Man proposes, god disposes”. Because almost all successful people have good luck and have caught their valuable opportunities, they believe that opportunity is a leading condition of the success. If seizes and makes the best use of opportunity available, one can succeed surely. In summary, to them, chances and lucks play the most important role on the road to success.

However, others maintain that “no pains, no gains” .Without exerting oneself, one could never expect to achieve success in no matter what one is doing. As is known to all, there is no royal road to the summit of success. One is likely to succeed only when one has worked with whole-hearted devotion and perseverance. Those who are lazy, sloppy and indifferent to their work, those who never concentrate on work will definitely end in failure. On the whole, as far as they are concerned, hard-working is the decisive factor to success.

In my view, both hard work and opportunity eventually matters. They are inseparable from each other, and put together, they make a great success. Hard work is to luck what fish is to water, and can be seen as an interior precondition of success. It lays the corner-stone for building a house while luck serves to cement it, to make the building bricks adherent to one another. They are the twins that contribute to success together. They are the factors from within and without respectively. We must work hard, make efforts and get prepared. When opportunities come, meet and make full use of them. Only in this way can we succeed one day.

College Students’ Job Hunting

In recent years，college students find it increasingly difficult to get a job. It sounds strange since young college students are usually intelligent， well-educated phenomenon， aspirant and eager to bring their talent into full play. Then what underlies the strange phenomenon?

There are several reasons for this. To begin with， nowadays college students aim too high. All they want are “good” jobs which could offer good salary， comfortable working conditions， high social status among others. Consequently， most college students are unwilling to accept vacant jobs they consider not “good” enough. Another reason is that there is a big gap between the majors some students study in school and the demands of vacant jobs. So companies think some students are not fit for

the jobs.

Solution to the problem requires efforts on both the society and the students. The companies should value the students， talent and knowledge while the latter should not merely aim at material gains. They should be down-to–earth in building up their career. Furthermore， they should face their weak points so as to improve themselves and be more competent.

First, more and more students can go to college because of the being fast improved high education of China. As a result, there are more graduates every year. However, job vacancies don’t increase that fast. More people, less food, which is the exact description of the hard condition. Second, more and more people go on to pursue their master and doctor degree; more and more Chinese oversea students come back to China to hunt better working chances. It is sure that the competition is more and more fierce. Third, because of the fast development of science, technology, economy, society and the interchange of different nations, all units have higher requirement of their employees, for example, stronger ability and higher degree.

In addition to the factors above, there are still more which bring hardship for graduates to find jobs. Nevertheless, how to solve the problem is more important. It is a good idea for the graduates to learn more knowledge with a higher degree and to practice and improve their capability of dealing with all kinds of situation, organization, having good terms with others and cooperative spirit. Besides, the government should try to and encourage all units to create more job vacancies for the college graduates. Of course, the graduates should have a proper attitude towards various jobs, but not always pursue those with higher payment.

Wealth and happiness

Wealth has always been what some people long for. It is true that most of them try to acquire wealth by means of honest labor. Their efforts contribute to the welfare of society and at the same time to the accumulation of their wealth. This brings them happiness.

There is no doubt that wealth brings happiness especially in modern society, where various kinds of modern conversation, new fashions and entertainments make their appearance with each passing day. These can improve a person’s life he or she has money to buy them.

But wealth does always not go hand in hand with happiness. Wealth may encourage those

weak-willed person to be addicted to some harmful habits such as drug taking or gambling and bring about their own ruin. Also a person may lose his reason and go astray if he is passionately devote to seeking wealth. Therefore, one can never count on wealth to achieve happiness.

Failure is a common thing in one's life. Almost everyone experiences failure in his life. When one fails in his attempt in doing something, he often feels upset. Some people may yield to failure and flinch from it. But others will stick to and achieve the final success.

My opinion on cheating in examinations

Why do some students cheated in examinations? Because there are too many examinations, and they are too difficult for the students.Besides, some students are lazy and not working hard.The reason why they cheated in examinations was to please their parents.

In my opinion,it is wrong to cheat in examinations because it's breaking the school regulations.We must be honest and study hard to get a good mark in the examinations.

It is known to us all that some students cheat in examinations,I think there are several reasons. Frirst ,as students ,they often take examinations at school,but sometimes they have too many examinations which are too difficult for them .Second ,some of them are lazy and don't work hard at their lessons.So when taking examinations ,they sometimes cheat in order to get better results to please their parents and teachers.

In my opinion,it is wrong to cheat in examinations,because it breaks the rules of schools .We students should be honest and try to get good results by studying hard instead of cheating in examinations.What's more, we should improve our study methods and get well prepared for examinations.
