Good morning，dear judges!

I'm very glad to stand here and give my short speach to you. I' m a young English teacher from XueLang Primary School. I'm No.4. Today my topic is "Holiday".

我很高兴地站在这里，给我简短的发言给你。我是年轻的英语老师从XueLang小学。我四号。今天我的主题是“假日” 。

As we known, there is a lot of holidays in every country, especially in China. You see，the new year is coming，2009. And the first holiday of 2009 is the New Year’s Day. So, I want to give my best wishes to you and a “Happy New Year!”

正如我们知道，有很多节日在每一个国家，特别是在中国。你看，在新的一年的到来， 20xx年。第一节日是20xx年元旦。所以，我想给我最良好的祝愿您和“新年快乐! ”

Well, when I’ve got this topic, I remember a holiday at once, that is the Children’s Day——the Children’s Day last year. Why? Because there is really something impressed me.

那么，当我有这个问题，我记得度假一次，这是儿童节-在儿童节去年。为什么?由于实在的东西我留下深刻的印象。

During the first year of my teaching career, I always work with full passion and attention. I like children, I like to study and play with them. Sometimes, they make me feel that I’m not a teacher but a friend. I believe that if a student like you and he will like the subject you teach.

在第一年我的教学生涯中，我总是工作，充分的热情和关注。我喜欢孩子，我喜欢研究，发挥他们。有时候，他们让我觉得我不是一个老师，而是朋友。我认为，如果一个学生喜欢你，他会喜欢你的主题教育。

Every Children’s Day, people will hold a big celebration, so do our school. Before that day, we would make preparations for the activities. I and another new teacher were in charge of the “Ringers” game. We felt a little nervous because we had no experience. So we tried our best to decorate the place to attract children. And we took our computer with us to play the funny cartoon music. Then we wait for children to come.

每一个儿童节，人们将举行大型庆祝活动，所以我们学校。在此之前一天，我们会作准备的活动。我和另一个新老师是负责的“铃声”游戏。我们觉得有点紧张，因为我们没有经验。所以，我们尽了最大的努力来装饰的地方，以吸引儿童。我们在我们的计算机与我们合作，发挥有趣的卡通音乐。然后，我们等待孩子来。

Out of our surprise, when the celebration began, lots of children rushed to our place and asked for playing the game. There was a long line. The music played and played, children happily came and went. But time was limited. 40 minutes later, we had to declare game over. At that time, I saw a little boy who didn’t want to leave, when we said to him the game was over again, he even cried. So, I let him play again. And he got the last toy. When I gave the prize to him, he smiled and said “ Thank you, teacher.” I felt so satisfied and because of the smile I wasn’t tired at all.

在我们的惊讶，当庆祝活动开始时，许多儿童送往我们的位置，并要求玩游戏。有一长排。音乐比赛和发挥，孩子高兴地来了又走了。但时间是有限的。 40分钟后，我们不得不宣布比赛结束。在那个时候，我看到了一个小男孩，谁不想离开，当我们对他说，比赛是一次又一次，他甚至哭了起来。所以，我让他再上场比赛。他拿到了最后的玩具。当我给他的奖金，他笑着说： “谢谢你，老师。 ”我觉得很满意，因为我是微笑不累的。

So, in my opinion, we teachers must pay more attention and patience and the most important——love to children. If you give a little love to children，you will get a great deal back.

各位领导、各位老师：

大家好！

九月是收获成功的季节，九月是充满希望的季节，九月也是我人生做出重要选择的季节。在这丹桂飘香的九月，我与小学英语结下了不解之缘，不知是我守望着她，还是她期待着我。在九月英语教学逐渐成为我生活中的一种需要，融入我的生活，成为我体现工作价值、生命价值的有力见证。

刚开始，我常常为自己薄弱的语法基础、贫乏的口语深感汗颜，但对于English的那份执着告诉使我--永不言放弃。由于经验不足，我在教学中常常遇到这样那样的问题，但失败浇不灭我对英语教学的如火热情，俗话说得好，“学习是知识的源泉，知识是学习的指南”，我下定决心在学习中充实自己，武装自己。很荣幸我参加了市县组织的小学英语培训，通过学习，使我大开眼界：授课教师抑扬顿挫的讲解，师生流畅自如的英语对白、学科专家生动详实的精辟点评，令我深深折服、叹为观止，从而再次坚定了我做好英语教学的信心、决心和恒心。

榜样虽好，但“依葫芦画瓢”却不见得会一蹴而就。虽然教学中遇到了沟沟坎坎，磕磕绊绊，但我依然不懈地追寻着自己的永不泯灭的希望，在这样的一种信念的支撑下，我昂首行进在英语教学的漫漫征程之中，在英语教学这块沃土上默默地耕耘着。

“功夫不负有心人”！当连字母都读不准的学生欣喜地向我说：“I was successful!”；当视英语为恶魔的学生带着满脸的成就感向我说：“I can be the teacher.”；当见了英文就头痛的学生向全班

学生说出“:I love English！”的时候，我知道我成功了。“一份耕耘一分收获”，风雨之后我终于见到了彩虹，此时此刻，我感觉世界是那么的美妙，生活是那么多彩，这不就是我梦中的希望吗？这不就是我对美好生活的渴求吗?

在我的心中有一个践诺——那便是“守望”，在我的手中有一粒金色的种子——那便是希望，在我的生活中有一个目标—那便是成功。我用我的双手在孩子们的心中播下渴求知识的种子，我用我的勤奋在孩子们的心中播下热爱学习的种子??也在我的心中播下希望的种子。我用心守望着这份希望,我用爱守护着这份希望，默默地看着她破土发芽，看着她开花结果，我坚信幼苗终会长成参天大树。

我要大声说：守望着自己爱着的田地，不就是人生最大的幸福吗？

Hello!

Every leaders and teachers,

September is a season of harvesting success, a season of full of hope and a season for me to make important decision.. In the September when the orange osmanthus give out sweet fragrance, I have made friends with primary English. Whether I am keeping out her or she is expecting me, English teaching is becoming a demanding of my life eventually and becoming a powerful testimony to embody my value of woke and life.

A t first, I always felt shamed for my grammar weakness and lack of oral English, however, the persist in English told me to never give up. It is well said that:” Learning is the sources of knowledge and knowledge is the guide of learning.” I made the decision to enrich and equipment myself in the process of learning. It is my pleasure to have joined the

training of primary English-teaching several times. Through the learning, I have broaden my horizon widely: teaching teachers’ cadent explaining; the fluent English dialogue between the teacher and students; the

trenchant comments of the experts made me be filled with admiration and strengthen my confidence ,resolution and perseverance of doing well of English-teaching.

Though the example is good, following after a fashion is not sure to be successful. It is avoidable that there are some troubles and problems in the process of teaching, which will not damp down my enthusiasm to the English-teaching and I still pursuit my ever-lasting hope enduringly. Under the support of this belief, I raise my head and advance in the long journey of English-teaching and cultivate in the fertile soil of

English-teaching.

“Everything comes to him who waits”---When the student who can not read the letters clearly said to me pleasantly:” I was successful”; when the student who regard English as the most disgusting thing said to me with achievement all over the face :”I can be the teacher”; when the student who felt sick of English said to all the class :”I love English”, I know I succeed! “o pains, no gains.” After the storms I have seen the rainbow. At that moment, I felt that the world is so beautiful and the life is so colorful, which is the hope in my dream and eager for the beautiful life.

There is a promise in my mind----“lookout”,; there is a golden seed in my hand---hope; there is a goal in my life----success. I sowed the seeds of eagerness of knowledge in the minds of children with my hands, I sowed the seeds of loving learning in the minds of children with my diligence and also sowed the seeds of hope in my mind. I am watching the hope with my heart, defending the hope with love, seeing her sprouting、

flowering and fruiting silently, I have the confidence that the seeding will become a grant tree at last!

I want to shout loudly that: is it the biggest happiness that watch the field that one loves most?

Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon! I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. I hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.

First I want to ask you some questions:

1、Do you know what is youth?

2、How do you master your youth?

Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life . Youth means a temperamental divdominance of courage over

timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self -distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courag

As you slowly open your eyes, look around , notice where the light comes into your room; listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you

can recognize; feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense

the freshness in the air.

Yes, yes, yes, it’s a new day, it’s a different day, and it’s a bright

day! And most importantly, it is a new beginning for your life, a

beginning where you are going to make new desicisions, take new actions,

make new friends, and take your life to a totally unprecedented level! In your mind’s eye, you can see clearly the things you want to have, the paces you intend to go, the relationships you desire to develop, and

the positions you aspire to reach.

You can hear your laughters of joy and happiness on the day when everything happens as you dream.

You can see the smiles on the people around you when the magic moment strikes.

You can feel your face is getting red, your heart is beating fast, and

your blood is rushing all over your body, to every single corner of your

being!

You know all this is real as long as you are confident,passionate and

committed! And you are confident, you are passionate, you are committed!

You will no longer fear making new sounds, showing new facial expressions, using your body in new ways,approaching new people, and asking new questions.

You will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and

you will show your passion through the words you speak and the actions you

take.

You will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of

your life. You will never succumb to challenges of hardships. You will never waver in your pursuit of excellence. After all,you are

the best, and you deserve the best!

As your coach and friend, I can assure you the door to all the best things in the world will open to you, but the key to that door is in your

hand. You must do your part, you must faithfully follow the plans you make

and take the actions you plan, you must never quit, you must never fear. I

know you must do it, you can do it, you will do it, and you will succeed!

majored in traffic engineering .Baoji is my hometown it is very beautiful. and the people are very friendly.

As we all knowen thingking is easy acting is difficult and to put one's thoughts into actions is the most difficult thing in the world. So if we want to learn English well ,we must practice reading English everyday ,acturally practicing repeatly is the best way to succeed.When

you speak ,don't care how poorly or how well you speak just care about catching the chance to speak ,enjoy losing face or just forget your face

because the more you speak the better your English will become,never afraid of

making mistakes because the more mistakes you make the more progress you will make.As a man living in the world ,we must try our best to make each day our masterpiece and don't let our parents down ,don't ever let

In the world, I am sure that no one dare say he hasn't met any trouble all his life. So we must face failure. In fact, failure is not fearful,

but important thing is how to face it correctly. Facing failure, people will never take their fate lying down.They will try their best to work harder and harder until at last they succeed.

Not being courageous to face setbacks, people have no chance to enjoy the pleasure of success. So they have nothing to do but feel sad and empty

all day and all night. In fact, they lose the chance of success themselves. My friend, whenever in trouble, please remember, "Failure is the mother of success."

Twists and turns in life are unavoidable and are not always bad. We should have a more optimistic view on life and try to make the most of it and draw lessons from the bumps and turns along the way.

If there is any single factor that makes for success in living, it is the ability to profit by defeat. Every success I know has been achieved because the person was able to analyze defeat and actually profit by it in his next undertaking. Confuse defeat with failure, and you are doomed indeed to failure. For it isn＇t defeat that makes you fail: it is your own refusal to see in defeat the guide and encouragement to success. Defeats are nothing to be ashamed of. They are routine incidents in the life of every man who achieves success. But defeat is a dead loss unless you do face it without humiliation, analyze it and learn why you failed. Defeat, in other words, can help to cure its own cause. Not only does defeat prepare us for success, but nothing can arouse within us such a compelling desire to succeed. If you let a baby grasp a rod and try to pull it away, he will cling more and more tightly until his whole weight is suspended. It is this same reaction which should give you new and greater strength every time you are defeated. If you exploit the power which defeat gives, you can accomplish with it far more than you are capable of.

挫折

生活中假如有任何一个因素可以促进成功，那就是从挫折中受益的能力。我所了解的每一次达到的成功都是因为那个人能够对挫折进行分析，在下一次工作中真正得益。假如混淆挫折和失败，你就注定会真正失败。 因为不是挫折使你失败，而是你自己拒绝从挫折中看到成功的方向和勇气。
