闻一多醉书

闻一多读书成瘾,一看就“醉”,就在他结婚的那天,洞房里张灯结彩,热闹非凡。大清早亲朋好友都来登门贺喜,直到迎亲的花轿快到家时,人们还到处找不到新郎。急得大家东寻西找,结果在书房里找到了他。他仍穿着旧袍,手里捧着一本书人了迷。怪不得人家说他不能看书,一看就要“醉”。

华罗庚猜书

著名数学家华罗庚读书的方法与众不同。他拿到一本书,不是翻开从头至尾地读,而是对着书思考一会,然后闭目静思。他猜想书的谋篇布局,斟酌完毕再打开书,如果作者的思路与自己猜想的一致,他就不再读了。华罗庚这种猜读法不仅节省了读书时间,而已培养了自己的思维力和想象力,不至于使自己沦为书的奴隶。

侯宝林抄书

相声语言大师侯宝林只上过三年小学,由于他勤奋好学,使他的艺术水平达到了炉火纯青的程度,成为有名的语言专家。有一次,他为了买到自己想买的一部明代笑话书《谑浪》,跑遍了北京城所有的旧书摊也未能如愿。后来,他得知北京图书馆有这部书,就决定把书抄回来。适值冬日,他顶着狂风,冒着大雪,一连十八天都跑到图书馆里去抄书,一部十多万字的书,终于被他抄录到手。

张广厚吃书

数学家张广厚有一次看到了一篇关于亏值的论文,觉得对自己的研究工作有用处,就一遍又一遍地反复阅读。这篇论文共20多页,他反反复复地念了半年多。因为经常的反复翻摸,洁白的书页上,留下一条明显的黑印。他的妻子对他开玩笑说,这哪叫念书啊,简直是吃书。

高尔基救书

世界文豪高尔基对书感情独深,爱书如命。有一次,他的房间失火了,他首先抱起的是书籍,其它的任何东西他都不考虑。为了抢救书籍,他险些被烧死。他说:“书籍一面启示着我的智慧和心灵,一面帮助我在一片烂泥塘里站起来,如果不是书籍的话,我就沉没在这片泥塘里,我就要被愚蠢和下流淹死。”

司马光警枕励志:司马光是个贪玩贪睡的孩子,为此他没少受先生的责罚和同伴的嘲笑,在先生的谆谆教诲下,他决心改掉贪睡的坏毛病,为了早早起床,他睡觉前喝了满满一肚子水,结果早上没有被憋醒,却尿了床,于是聪明的司马光用园木头作了一个警枕,早上一翻身,头滑落在床板上,自然惊醒,从此他天天早早地起床读书,坚持不懈,终于成为了一个学识渊博的,写出了《资治通鉴》的大文豪。

(1)王亚南睡三脚床:王亚南小时候胸有大志,酷爱读书。他在读中学时,为了争取更多的时间读书,特意把自己睡的木板床的一条脚锯短半尺,成为三脚床。每天读到深夜,疲劳时上床去睡一觉后迷糊中一翻身,床向短脚方向倾斜过去,他一下子被惊醒过来,便立刻下床,伏案夜读。天天如此,从未间断。结果他年年都取得优异的成绩,被誉为班内的“三杰”之一。

(2)王亚南绑在柱子上读书:我国著名的马克思主义经济学家、《资本论》最早的中文翻译者王亚南,19xx年乘船去欧洲。客轮行至红海,突然巨浪滔天,船摇晃得使人无法站稳。这时,戴着眼镜的王亚南,手上拿着一本书,走进餐厅,恳求服务员说:“请你把我绑在这根柱子上吧!”服务员以为他是怕自己被浪头甩到海里去,就照他的话,将王亚南牢牢地绑在柱子上。绑好后,王亚南翻开书,聚精会神地读起来。船上的外国人看见了,无不向他投来惊异的目光,连声赞叹说:“啊!中国人,真了不起!”古代有个百步穿杨的故事,说的是有一年轻人射箭技术高超,能在百步之外准确无误地射穿一片树叶,他颇为自豪,四处卖弄。恰被一卖油老者看到,满脸的不屑一顾,在年轻人面前表演起了自己的绝活,将一铜钱置于油桶上方,舀起一瓢油熟练地将油顺着钱孔倒下来,铜钱却未沾上一滴油。 其实,老者的表演是在告诫年轻人,凡事只要多练就会熟能生巧,不能满足于现状,不思进取,自以为老子天下第一。山外青山楼外楼,强中自有更强手,学习无止境,奋斗无止境,我们应该将精益求精坚持到底。
