Future is nowÑݽ²¸å

A week ago, in a deep midnight, my best friend Stella gave me a call. She sobbed for a long time, and finally she questioned: where is my future? What am I going to be 10 years later? At that moment, it took me everything not to say that ¡°everything will be ok.¡± Because I knew what Stella need was not that. She needs an answer that can change her life. So later, I began to search the answer from the Internet, books and people around.

Up to now, I¡¯ve found some answers.

The first answer is from a college girl in Fujian province. In her eyes, future equals past. She committed suicide on January 3rd, just 3 days ago. A week before her death, her boyfriend broke up with her, and she thought that her future was broken, too. So she jumped from the 8-story dormitory building and ended up her life. Her answer to me is too heavy to accept. If we believe that future is past and indulge in the memory of yesterday¡¯s sound and fury, how could we have the power and capacity to fight for tomorrow?

I got the second answer from one of my classmates in the middle school. He defined future as something faraway. He thought that the graduation was faraway, the final exam was faraway, and even tomorrow was faraway. He spent all his time on the parties, pubs and net bars. The result is that he failed the exam every time. Particularly, I am still not satisfied with this answer. If we only pin our hope on the uncertain fluke and possibility, how could we hold fates in our own hands?

But luckily, I found the answer by myself. It is written in the enlightened reading material of Thomas Carlyle. ¡°Our main business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what lies clearly at hand.¡± It occurred to me that the future is now.

Crying for yesterday¡¯s mistakes and success cannot lead us to a rosy future. It had somehow cut off the college girl¡¯s life instead.

Hoping for the flukes or chances does no good to us in our process to success. It pulled my classmate into the depths of regret and despair.

To build up a better future, what we can do is to seize the present moment and spare no effort to undertake our business now.

Maybe in the future, we are able to see and use the time machine. Scientists have thought about some possible way to explain it, for example, the Wormhole. Wormhole is a kind of time pipe. It can link two different space time together. Because everything can go through Wormhole, time machine seems no longer a dream.

However, some problems remained. First is the elding of the time machine. The technology now is not able to make this kind of elding. We still need more time to study and solve it. Second is the spaceship. It need to be a very very powerful, tough spaceship. It should have the ability to keep the shape when meeting with the force in the Wormhole. Also, it¡¯s hard to make a spaceship like this. Although we can make it one day, the price of the time travel seems much much more high. And more importantly, I am not a millionaire.

In conclusion, time machine is possible to show up in the future. We need to work hard to make it no longer a dream. Always remember that the past is gone forever and the future never comes. The future never comes , so everything is possible, even returning to the past.
