Having read the novel 《Gone With The Wind》 written by American writer Margaret Mitchell, I was deeply shocked. The novel, which Margaret spent about 10 years on, not only created a myth, but also show her own personal charm to the world. Novel's underground is based on the Civil War which happened in the United States, according to the changes of the Civil War starts the circumstances, so it has divided the macro history into micro history of personal experience. We can realize that misty thinking of Margaret through characters changes of people. My favorite character is Scarlett. Scarlett is a simple but very complex figure. Scarlett is a pretty, coquettish Southern belle who grows up on the Georgia plantation.Maybe most people don’t like her because she is selfish and do anything for love. But I appreciate her intelligent mind, strong heart, decisively

Behavior. When the Civil War broke out, her family circumstances change greatly. But she became so strong at this time. When she faced with difficulties, she chose to meet. When she faced with responsibility, she chose to bear. War has changed Scarlett, and it also enables me to a better understanding toward her. I am so deeply shocked by the indomitable spirit of Scarlett facing difficulties. In the end, she still missed her love. What a pity!

I think every one of us has her own desires, each person is searching for her own happiness. The desire will be a driving force for us, and the desire can improve the development of culture. Science and technology may also lead to crime and war. Though desires may have some bad effects on us, it very important. We will pursue our own happiness, although we there might be some difficulties, we should not give up our desire!

After reading the book, I appreciated the most, is her phrase "Tomorrow is another day.” Always full of hope, full of fighting spirit, never give up, never despair. This spirit is most worthy of my study. So, whenever I meet difficulties and feel upset, I would tell myself: "Tomorrow is another day.”

This book is very interesting, I recommend everyone to read it.
