英语角活动规划方案

活动时间: 20##-2012年第一学期

总负责人:倪方

英语角(English Corner是指为提高英语口语,而进行的一种英语口语练习活动。举办时间多在周末,也有在晚上举行的。场所基本在室外(如公园,广场,校园等)。 英语角的参加者以学生居多,也有社会人士参加。英语爱好者聚集在一起通过自发的英语交流达到练习口语的目的。

活动内容简介

一、成立“英语角”

活动内容:“英语角”的成立主要以锻炼英文口头表达能力,为同学们提供良好的英语沟通环境为目的,通过同学们的交流互动提高口语能力,由辅导老师对语法知识、阅读能力、解题技巧作专门讲解。集学习性、交流性于一体,与学院的外语协会组织的英语角有所区别。这个英语角的学习性质比例较重,为成员营造了浓厚的全英文交流气氛,促进同学们英语水平的提升。

活动时间:开学后至放假前每周星期三下午2:00-4:00

活动地点:齐贤楼一楼大厅

组织人员:倪方,胡海清等。

参加人员:全校英语爱好者。

辅导教师:全体外语部教师。

主办机构:国际交流学院,外语部。

活动设想:体现以学生为主,发挥辅导教师的引导作用,原则上要求参与者都说英语。

(1)活动场地的布置由学生设计和装饰,体现学生的爱好和需求。

(2)每次活动的主题结合课本教学单元主题由老师和学生共同商定,活动内容贴近学生实际和生活。

(3)主题确定后,通知会员。并以海报的形式进行宣传,吸引学生参加。

(4)活动以游戏、对话等形式开展,突出语言的功能性。

(5)每次活动至少安排两位外籍教师,三位中方英语教师参与设计和指导。

二、举办英语演讲比赛

比赛目的:为了进一步加强英语的学习和交流,提高同学们学习英语的积极性,给广大英语爱好者提供一个展现自我,提升自我的机会和舞台,“英语角”决定举办一次英语演讲比赛。

比赛时间:初赛:待定。复赛:待定

比赛地点:

负责教师:沈月辉,程东英等。

总策划:  倪方

策划小组:倪方,沈月辉,蒋署,程东英等。

特邀评委、嘉宾:待定

参赛要求:

(1)所有参赛作品均为英语形式,演讲时间控制在5分钟以内。

(2)具备完整的演讲稿,并要求上交。

(3)演讲内容要求健康向上,真实细腻地反映人生理想,奋斗目标,自强自立,校园生活等。

(4)演讲时需脱稿演讲。

赛程安排:

(1)初赛:每个人比赛时间5分钟以内。(1分钟自我介绍和4分钟自主命题演讲)

(2)复赛:

a主持人介绍赛程和比赛规则

b评委嘉宾介绍

c选手同上场一样,进行自我介绍、自主命题演讲、即兴演讲和当场回答评委老师的提问

d评奖、颁奖典礼

e主持人宣布比赛结束

奖励办法:以颁发证书和学分奖励为主要方式。

三、举办英语歌唱比赛

比赛目的:寓教于乐,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,丰富学生课余文化生活,创建良好的校园文化氛围。

比赛时间:

 四、 其它活动

1、   英语学习交流会

进入大学后,大家学习英语靠的不再是老师的督促和管教,而是自己的自学能力和一套自创的学习方法,但很多同学学习英语的求知感淡化,自学方法不够强,针对这一问题我们“英语角”决定适时开展英语学习交流会。在交流会中由各个同学谈谈自己学习英语的方法,包括成功经验、失败教训以及现阶段自己学习英语面临的困难。希望在交流中吸取他人学习英语的成功之处,不断的完善自己的学习方法。

2举办各类英语游戏

开展多种英语游戏,寓教于乐,可以激发大家学习英语的兴趣,也可以让自己的英语水平在娱乐中得到提高。例如,我们可以开展以下的此类英语游戏:

(1)瞬时记忆大比拼(游戏)

游戏规则:推荐1人参加此活动,一轮游戏可分四组同时进行。参与者站定后背着观众,此时四个工作人员各举一张卡片上场。卡片上写有一个句子,工作人员背向观众站定。由主持人下令让参与者同时向后转,此时开始计时,限时5秒钟。在这5秒钟内参与者可以看卡片上的句子并迅速的记下来。5秒钟后,工作人员将卡片给观众快速看几遍,然后将卡片扣在地面上。参与者有1分钟的时间将迅速记下来的句子写在参与者面前摆放着的黑板上。时间一到,工作人员将卡片举起面向观众,由评委审查参与者写的句子与题目是否一致。全对者可得满分,满分为100分。若参与者写的句子中有单词错误,错一个单词扣10分。

(2)单词接龙(游戏)

活动安排:一轮游戏可由4个小组同时进行。由各班组织推选5个人组成一组参加此游戏。场上放着各写有一个单词的4块黑板。计时开始后,各同学轮流(依次)上去写单词,同学们所写的单词要以黑板上所给单词的最后一个字母为首字母。按此方法依次接下去,限时3分钟,时间到最后接单词最多的小组为优胜组。每接对一个单词加10分,所接单词不得重复,重复的单词不计分。
