Today, we get together to learn from and communicate with others in English.
We need to speak English louder because our English is poor. Ok, let me announce the activity beginning.
Firstly, I introduce someone important who attends the English corner: Mr Liu , and our English teacher, welcome. Everybody, attention please.
Our first activity is introduction. Divide into 4 discussion groups and elect a person who helps me.
Then, introduce yourselves in each group and make others know you. You can communicate others about the experience of English and how to learn English well.

Our second activity is Word Solitaire.(单词接龙)
The rules are: Each group in a circle, from the head group of people who just say a word and spell out the word to the next
person to say more than one word beginning with the last letter of a word to say next, and so on. Access is not on the acceptance of punishment or repeated. You have two choices about punishment:1、sing a English song 2、Expression to be out in English until we say so far.

Our fourth activity is sharing.
You can share the things around you, a good book, the news worth reading, a good poem or story, a joke and so on. You can talk to others in your group or speech in class.

J: Yeah, now let’s start with the aerobics.
L：Let’s give them a big hand for their wonderful performance. J: first I’d like to introduce our distinguished guest- Andrew.(外教自我介绍) And also welcome all of you to join in the activity. L：Then we will see a sitcom to lead in our topic today. You can guess what it is.
J：so do you know what is the topic today? Right That is the development of communication.
L: what is the most useful skill in our common life? Why is the language so important for the human beings? How can you live a life in society？All the answers to the questions above lead to the communication.
J: Communication between people is of utmost significance. So that’s why it changes greatly and keeps improving to accord with the development of economy and technology.
L: now let’s play a warm-up game - The word Solitaire.
(I will give you a word, e.g. friend, and the next one should give another word beginning with letter 'd'.)
J：We divide the development of communication into 3 parts. They are primitive society, feudal society and modern society. Now, suppose that we are in the primitive society, and we mostly use body language to communicate with each other.
L：Yes, now we will play the games about the body language, that is, Guess and Act.
（we will have 2 persons to act the words out which are given on the screen, and the other 10 partners will guess what the words are in 3 three min. the group with highest scores will be the winner.）
J: Time flys. Now we are in the feudal society. We always write to others to express our feelings and thoughts. So the next game is Tongue Twister.
(We will have 10 students from each group, the scores will be judged by the time and fluency.)
L：Since there are some students who are Japanese-Majors today, we’d like to invite some of them to teach us some easy greeting words.
J: well, that’s not enough right? Could you sing a Japanese song for us?
L: thanks for your nice song. Let’s come to our next game- Who Am I?
(Each group will have a student to pretend to be a famous person, He is encouraged to give some information about the person and other students could ask some questions to guess who he is. Time is limited within 3 min.)

J：Now, we say goodbye to the past and come to the modern society at last. Both the economy and technology developed continuously. We have various kinds of ways to communicate with others, one of them is the Internet, considered the most popular method to communicate.
L: we will make a lot of friends in the internet, one day, they meet in the real life. the last game is Choose Your Star.
(We will have 10 girls from each group and other 3 boys. The girls should ask one or two question to one or all the boys one by one, then boys could ask girls questions. Finally each girl should stand behind the boy they choose. the boy who has the most girls will be the winner.)
J: Our games are drawing to an end. Now we’d like to hear your voice about the topic today.
L: finally, we will end with a song let’s sing together.
