Good evening ,Ladies and gentlemen，welcome to this “English speaking contest”held by school of microelctronics and solid-state electronics .

As we know English is becoming increasingly popular around the world.As 21st university student(21世纪当代大学生），how should we treat our English learning？I think，to you ,or,to everyone of us ,English is not only a subject,but also a valuable tool of communicating internationally.

Now today , we are holding the "English Speaking Contest" here.

We hope that all of our contestants can show their passion and talent in English on this stage! And we hope everyone of you will enjoy this contest.

This contest will be mediated by a panel of 5 judges. Now I have the great honor of presenting today's judges.

好的，咱们比赛的第一环节就暂时告一段落，thanks for our contestants' wonderful performance. Now let's come into round 2 of this contest 。In this round our contestants will choose anyone from the pictures on the screen，then they will give us a short speech about the animal on the picture。

第二篇：英语演讲比赛工作总结

在秋意渐浓的的十一月，海南医学院临床学院学习部成功举办了“扬帆起航”英语演讲比赛，演讲比赛的目的是为了丰富临床学院同学们的课外生活。同时，也为了给同学们一个展现自己英语水平的舞台，也为了让更多同学能够融入临床学院这个大家庭。

本次比赛由于选手较多的原因，比赛分为命题演讲和即兴演讲两轮，由第一轮命题演讲前12名进入二轮即兴演讲，比赛于20xx年x月x日8：30--11:40在多功能报告厅举行，并邀请了陈云强，李青等老师担任评委。一流的选手和一流的评委给大家带来了一场精彩的演讲比赛。

比赛在不太热烈的掌声中结束。最终，来自11全英班的贺晓亚以其流利的英语表达能力和演讲技巧获得了第一名，而去年的冠军刑维栋被挤出了前三。其余获奖同学也给大家带来了精彩的演讲。然而获奖最多的依然是全英班的参赛选手。

虽然这次活动受到了很多同学的赞赏，但是也存在许多不足的地方。

1，比赛时间的选取出现重大失误。

2，命题演讲中间环节唱歌的同学只准备了一首歌，导致一点小小的冷场。 3，一二轮的中间环节，明显绕口令不足，导致直接冷场。 4，中场的休息导致本来就不多的观众急剧减少。

5，工作人员有迟到很长时间的人。

6，统分人员开始时出现了一点小错误。

7，开始时，领分人员总是遮挡住观众的视线。

8，现场观众的积极性无法调动。

9，即兴演讲的难度太高。

通过这次活动的举办，同学们的英语能力得以很好的体现，同时作为工作人员的我们，也有了更多的经验。再以后的活动中，我们会汲取这次活动的经验和教训，发挥我们的优势，争取把活动办的更好。
