本学期我校英语教研组以素质教育和学生的发展为根本宗旨，以基础教育课程改革为工作中心，优化教学过程。将围绕课程实施中的实践性问题而展开，学科活动教学中遵循教育教学规律，不断努力提高教研水平和英语教学质量。现总结如下：
一、研读新教材，转变观念，不断提高理论素养。
本学期，我们认真学习《小学英语课程标准》及其他教学书籍，探讨新形势下教师角色的转化，使每个教师树立新的教育观、教学观，提高英语教师的理论水平，对新形式下小学英语的教学工作有了更明确的方向。此外，开学初对五、六年级使用的新教材进行了再次研读，加深了老师们对新教材的认识。
积极参加网上研修学习，认真研究研修内容。老师们无论在思想上还是教学理论和实践中都得到了极大收获和锻炼。
二、积极参加、组织观摩课，锻炼教师教学能力。
本学期一开始，我们就把观摩课作为教研活动的一个重点，因为我们认为通过观摩可以结合自身的实际，汲取有益经验。而对于讲课所暴露出的缺点，也可以有则改之无则加免，大大提高了自已的课堂教学能力。通过自己备课、上课、说课和听别人讲课等一系列活动，锻炼了教师的教学能力，提高业务素质水平。本学期我们参加了马鞍山市教材培训，对五、六年级新教材有了更为深刻的认识。
