篇一 :简爱英文读后感

简爱英文读后感:

This is a story about a special and unreserved woman who has been exposed to a hostile environment but continuously and fearlessly struggling for her ideal life. The story can be interpreted as a symbol of the independent spirit.

It seems to me that many readers’ English reading experience starts with Jane Eyer. I am of no exception. As we refer to the movie “Jane Eyer”, it is not surprising to find some differences because of its being filmized and retold in a new way, but the spirit of the novel remains----to be an independent person, both physically and mentally.

《简·爱》

作者简介:

Charlotte "Jane Eyre" Brontë

(1816-1854)

Charlotte Brontë was born 21 April 1816, third of the six children of Patrick Brontë and Maria Branwell Brontë. The major event of her young life was the death of her mother in 1821, whichcreated a lot of chaos. In 1824, Charlotte and her two older sisters, Maria and Elizabeth, were sent to the newly-opened Cowan Bridge Clergy Daughters' School.

Conditions there were bad even by the standards of the time, and it was not long before both Maria and Elizabeth became ill enough to be sent home, where they both died of consumption in the spring of1825. Patrick brought Charlotte and her younger sister Emily, who had recently joined them at the school, back home as soon as the other girls became ill, but Charlotte in particular never forgot what the school had been like.

篇三 :《简爱》英文读后感

Jane Eyre in my eyes

Several years ago, when I was a little girl I have already read the novel Jane Eyre. At that time, I was attracted by the touching story. But today, after watching the movie, I was moved by Jane, the adamant, independent, brave and honest girl. Why did we say Jane was an adamant and independent girl? Let’s look at her childhood. Her parents died when she was a little girl, so she was brought up by her aunt Mrs. Reed, an acute and ruthless woman. Jane led a very bad life in her house. They treated her as badly as a ragtag. But Jane didn’t surrender. Later, she was sent to Lowood school,an orphan school. In there she didn’t get what she had been expecting——simply being regarded as a common person, just the same as any other girl around. Mr. Brocklehurste even asked Jane to stand on the chair and vilipended her in front of all the students. But Jane didn’t yielded. And her only friend Helen died, Jane was very sad, but she was not depressive all the time. Instead, she studied and worked energetically. At last, she became a teacher of logwood, and later became the family teacher of Adele. From her experience, we could found that Jane was independent; she changed her fate by herself. She suffered more than other girls at her age. She was independent both in physically and mentally.

简爱英文读后感

One hundred and sixty years ago, when Charlotte Bronte created Jane Eyre, she could have never thought that it would become eternal. As a matter of fact, in the world of today, there are tens of

thousands of Jane Eyre, each living in a reader’s heart, breathing with him the same air and sharing with him the same happiness and sorrow. Her rich mental world has become an inexhaustible resource of spiritual power. From Jane Eyre, people who are timid and shy get confidence and self-respect; people who feel imprisoned get independence and freedom; people who are lonesome get love and care. However, what I get from Jane Eyre is the courage of inner questioning and self exploring.

《简爱》英文读后感

Jane Eyre, is a poor but aspiring, small in body but huge in soul, obscure but self-respecting girl. After we close the covers of the book, after having a long journey of the spirit, Jane Eyre, a marvelous figure, has left us so much to recall and to think:

We remember her goodness: for someone who lost arms and blinded in eyes, for someone who despised her for her ordinariness, and even for someone who had hurt her deeply in the past.

We remember her pursuit of justice. It’s like a companion with the goodness. But still, a virtuous person should promote the goodness on one side and must check the badness on the other side.

篇八 :简爱英语读后感

JANE EYPE—A BEAUTIFUL SOUL

Can you find something different from my title? Yes, the letters in the title are all written in capitals. Why I write like this? Because the power of this woman—Jane Eype make me so “ frightened”. Her chase of freedom, independence and equality touched my heart.

This book tells a romantic story between Jane and Mr.Rochester. Jane was taken in and brought up by the Reeds. She is happy. But everything have changed after Mr. Reed died. Her life became sadder and harder. Everyone in this house began to insult her and hit her. Once time, she was hit by her cousion, she fought him. And then Mrs. Reed took her into the red house which Mr. Reed lived when he was alive. After that, Jane was sent to Roward Poorhouse. The rules of the poorhouse are very strict, the thing they ate and where they lived were horrible. A cold suddenly hurt the poorhouse after Jane came to it for some days. The best friend of Jane— Helen died because of the cold. Eight years later, Jane became the tutor of Thornfield Hall. One afternoon, she met Mr. Rochester in the countryside. Slowly, she fell in love with Mr. Rochester. Jane left Mr. Rochester because of his mad ex-wife. But she missed him so much. At last, she decided to him.
