I love this story very much. This book is written by William Shakespeare, from Canada.
This story was happened in Venice. It was about two moneylenders, Shylock and Antonio. They hated each other very much because Shylock always got a lot of rent from other people, but Antonio didn’t. So people did not borrow money from Shylock. And Shylock and Antonio always had an argument when they met each other.
Antonio had a very good friend .His name was
Bassanio.He always borrowed some money from Antonio. And Antonio never refused to lend him. Bassanio loved Portia, and he wants to send her a gift, but he didn’t have any money, so he wants to borrow money from Antonio. But Antonio didn’t have money, too. So he decided to borrow money from Shylock. And Shylock was very happy that he had a very good plan to kill Antonio. He wanted a pond of meat from Antonio if he didn’t pay the money on time, but he didn’t need to pay any rents.

After reading The Merchant of Venice, I have a deeply understanding of Shakespeare and his works, especially The Merchant of Venice, next, I will make a report of The Merchant of Venice according to what I understand.

这个故事讽刺了那些自以为是，而且刻薄吝啬的小人，将一幅丑陋的黑暗社会的嘴脸展现在我的眼前，令人痛恨。但是读了这篇文章，我感触更多的是商人与贵族朋友的情谊。
友谊是双方的，我想，只有两个人相互帮助，相互尊重，才能够成为好朋友。当你付出了一份真情谊，未必能够收获，当两个志同道合的人在一起，不用三言两语，那份真挚的情感便会自然流露，深深的，慢慢的，给人一种温馨的感动。
友情，是最有色彩的情感，在无助的时候，你可以跟身旁的朋友诉苦；在开心的时候，你可以和朋友??它是两个人沟通的桥梁，没有刺骨的寒风，不是虚伪的面孔，它能够撑起一片蓝天，在天上，便是纯净的世界。因此，我坚信，有朋友在我的身边，我就会安全。因为我们共同进步，相互保护，这就是友情的深刻含义。

读《威尼斯商人》有感

《威尼斯商人》是莎士比亚喜剧的代表作。读完这部作品，我感触很深。不仅仅因为里面浪漫传奇的色彩、峰回路转的剧情，夸张爆笑的情节，还因为这部作品中，那一个个令我敬佩的人物。
剧中，巴萨尼奥喜欢上了富家嗣女鲍西娅，需要向富商安东尼奥借三千块钱去赢得鲍西亚，当巴萨尼奥去找安东尼奥时，安东尼奥对巴萨尼奥说：“我的钱囊可以让你任意取用，我自己也可以供你驱使；我愿意用我所有的力量，帮助你达到目的。”可是，由于安东尼奥在海上投入的钱没有收回，没有那么多钱，只好被迫向仇视他的犹太人夏洛克借钱。为了巴萨尼奥，安东尼奥甚至不惜以割掉自己胸前的一磅肉为代价去和夏洛克订立契约。当安东尼奥的船只遇险没有能力偿还那三千块，而夏洛克又坚持照契约执行计划时，安东尼奥的生命受到了威胁，他所有的朋友都替他担心，却对残忍的夏洛克无计可施。
而安东尼奥呢，面对这样的情况，他不仅不埋怨他的朋友巴萨尼奥，反而安慰他：“不要因为我为了你的缘故遭到这种结局而悲伤，因为命运对我已经特别照顾了：他往往让一个不幸的人在家产荡尽以后继续活下去，用它凹陷的眼睛和满是皱纹的额角去接受贫困的暮年；这一种拖延时日的刑罚，她已经把我豁免了。”安东尼奥的为人，正如他的朋友萨拉里诺所说，世上没有一个比他更仁厚的君子，他是一个重情重义，慷慨无私，善良乐观的人。

《威尼斯商人》的主要情节取材于古老传说。剧情是通过三条线索展开的：一条是鲍西娅选亲，巴萨尼奥选中铅匣子与鲍西亚结成眷属；一条是夏洛克的女儿杰西卡与安东尼奥的友人罗伦佐的恋爱和私奔；还有一条是主线，即威尼斯商人安东尼奥为了帮助巴萨尼奥成婚，向高利贷者犹太人夏洛克借款三千元而引起的'割一磅肉'的契约纠纷。 大多数人认为这个故事是讽刺了那些像夏洛克一样自以为是、刻薄爱财、唯利是图的小人，赞扬了安东尼奥和巴萨尼奥伟大尊贵的友谊。可是我却非常同情这个视财如命的犹太人。文中诚实守信的安东尼奥，不离不弃的巴萨尼奥和美丽聪慧的鲍西亚都让我无动于衷，唯有这个似乎让很多人恨得牙痒痒的贪财之徒使我心生同情。同情并不仅仅因为除了他以外，剧里的每个人都有完满的结局。在人们厌恶鄙弃夏洛克的同时，有没有想过他在官司输掉的那一瞬间也失去了堪比生命的信仰。这场所谓歌颂仁爱、友谊和爱情的喜剧在我眼里看到的却只有悲剧——对于犹太人的歧视。如果要这样来反衬主人公们的伟大是不是显得太残忍了。

某一个时代的文学作品，将会带上属于那个时代的风格。《威尼斯商人》就带有属于文艺复兴时代的那种传统中又充满了创新的独特风格，同时也宏扬了人文主义。该剧中出现了若干个性鲜明的人物，分别代表了当时的不同阶级的不同思想。但是，真正引起了我的思考的，却是一个处于该剧中阴暗面的人物——夏洛克。
初读戏剧，你可能认为他是一个可憎的人——利用高利贷剥削人们的财产;面对别人友善的的劝告丝毫不肯放松;甚至对自己的家人都显得十分无情。这几乎综合了一切让人讨厌的特点，属于当时社会中最令人憎恨的那一类人。但是，作者真的只是塑造了他坏的一面吗?答案当然是不。作者在对他的描写中，无不体现他的可悲与令人同情。 他身为犹太人，在基督教主宰着人们的精神世界的国度里，他或许受尽了冷落与孤独。你或许知道，大部分心理问题都是由一个人从小到大所受到的精神刺激而来。他信仰着自己种族的宗教，然而，他的信仰却被人们无视，甚至鄙视，这对一个有信仰的人来说，这是致命的打击。因此，他仇恨着所有人——那些信仰着基督教，却贬低着犹太教的不近人情，从来没有正视过他的家伙。他的复仇动机正是出于此。因此，他用恶毒的手段去报复那些他所恨的人，去平复那饱受欺侮的心灵。
