Semester summary

Next semester I will face a very important examination – TME-8 and everyone around me who need take this exam have tried their best to prepare for it. If we couldn't passed it that will influence our graduate . So that I have spent much more time studying in order to pass the test . Before the examination I have spent almost all the spare time on studying . Through the almost seven semesters that I found the study of foreign language has enriched my life. So this semester I have continued to expand my vocabulary . Like last semester I also planned to remember at least 100 words every week . Except this I have found other ways to expand my vocabulary , for example , every week I have at least watch two English films . When I was watching the film I will pay attention to some useful sentences and wrote them down . As same as last semester I also often went to the library this term because the library is really a good place to study . The library always very quiet and provides us with a lot of materials . The different from last semester there are more and more students like studing in the library . I think this is a good phenomenon that could encourage us study harder. I had do more works for listening and grammar this semester because both of them are my weakness. Everyday I have insisted on hearing at least one piece of BBC or VOA news that is very useful to improve my listening . And I have read many grammar books and done many practices to strengthen my grammar knowledge.

New term new start! Half a year later we will graduate from school , and there are many difficulties and challenges waiting for us. Some of my classmates were prepared to look for job and some of them have found a ideal job. This term I have did several times part-time job, but at last I gave up to do it. After work a whole day that made me felt tired , in fact it is not very good for me . Although to do a part-time job could enrich my work experiences and make many new friends. These experience also could help me to adopt to the future work . But in my opinion , as a student that have a good ability of the major is more important. Everyone of us ought to get a good ability when we graduate . But I am planning to take part in some public service activities in the holiday. I think it should more significant than to do a job as a waitress or a saleswoman .

新学期新开始!半年后我们将从学校毕业,有很多困难和挑战等着我们。我的一些同学准备寻找工作,他们中的一些人已经找到了一个理想的工作。这学期我有多次做兼职工作,但最后我放弃了。下班后一天,让我觉得累,实际上这对我来说不是很好。虽然做兼职工作可以丰富我的工作经验和结交许多新朋友。这些经验也可以帮助我采取未来工作。但在我看来,作为一个学生,有很好的能力的主要是更重要的。我们每个人都应该得到一个好的能力当我们毕业。但是我打算参加一些公共服务活动的节日。我认为它应该更重要的不是做一个当服务员的工作或一个售货员。

The new term is just around the corner, I think this is a new start to strengthen myself. After the TME-8 I will face more challenges so that I have make a new

destination. Except my own major that I want to learn something else. After the TME-8 I will look for a full-time job that maybe a good choice . So in the new term I am not only need to continue to learn English, also need to make a new plan about after I am graduate. This plan will allow me to learn more effective because I would spend a little time on study . And next step I will pay more attention to develop my study skill because efficient study is more useful the long time study . This plan could help me to adopt to society better after I graduate .

My shortcoming is that I always uses too many list headlines, or has too

many spelling andgrammatical errors. another time management is also inadequate. To learn a foreign language the word is the foundation. My Vocabulary is very limited. Keeping a diary in English is one of the effective ways to improve our English writing ability. Writing is one important index of English aptitude as well as one of the most difficulties in English learning, but I believe if I put more effort into my study, and finally I believe that I would get a harvest.

I will continue to develop my own merits, to correct shortcomings and make a detail plan about my study. I believe if I could make a good choice next semester I will get new advance. we must promote and popularize a low carbon life among the public from every detail in our daily life. We must change the past practice of sacrificing long-term environmental health for short-term rapid economic development, and shift to developing green economy, circular economy and low carbon economy. All these effective measures can help us to reach harmony between development of the society and health of the nature。
