My name is xxx. I am 21 years old and studying in xx University now

Fortunately I am having a rest at home which includes three people, my father, mother, and I. My father is working for a private factory to keep my family and my mother is staying at home doing house work. We are living on floor six of the fourteenth unite in xxxx Zhejiang province. My father graduated from a senior middle school and was good at studying when he was at school, so he always asked me to work hard to be more competitive in the future. In my opinion,my mother is more serious about my behaviour than father. Free at home, so she can spend a lot time on my learning. I had always thought that she cared about me too much when I was young . Maybe I didn’t kown her very much because I lived with my grandparents longer than with my parent befere I went to school. They had pool to keep fish and some other seafood beside Qiantang river in Cixi. I had some kinds of seafood to eat all the time and the grandparents were always kind to me. In addition, my family kept a lovely dog with us that brought a lot of happiness to us. There was no doubt that he was also a member of my family before he’s missing one day when I was still very young. Of course I cried with great sorrow when I was told the news because I felt that I also lost a good friend.

I was born in xx Zhejiang province in 1987 and there I had lived for about 10 years including my three years of studying in xx elementary school before my moving to xx elementary school in xx because of my father’s change of work. To be a male,they thought me to be born with more responsibility and expectations. But I remember that like other children I was so naughty that my teachers and my parents were always angry with me. I hated being taken to my parents’ workplace because of being tired of staying in the same place. More or less, I felt that I was not free if I was taken with them to the factory. However I was very popular to my classmates .Almost everyone of them was happy to make friends with me so do I. At that time, there was no need worrying about my marks,behaviour or effect on other people and I was very satisfied with myself except my hate of doing sports. It seemed that I was just a naught and lazy child without any responsibility to some extent.

Even though my behaviour was terrible at school, I had the chance to xx middle school where I started to learn English. Of course I didn’t stop behaving like a bad student or making trouble until I changed to be in Grade two. Because of my poor marks, my parents were so disappointed with me but they said nothing besides being unhappy for a long time after the parents’ conference which influnced me a lot. From then on, I began to study by heart and started to control myself. I wanted to live up to their expectations. By my hard work,my grade improved a lot and I began to be more and more interested in learning. Of course,my scince teacher helped me a lot when she was free, such as communiating with me, lending me some useful books to read and so on. I preferred spending most of time reading,recitng and doing exercise rather than playing, wasting or doing something others worthless. I refused being addicted to be a failure. Only I , myself, could really help me to get out of trouble. Knowing this, I tried my best to behave better.

By two-years’ hard work, I succeeded in the last exam and getting the chance of going to xx senior middle school finally. There I met some new friends with whom I lived a happy and meaningful time. I lived in the school with other boys in the boys’ dormitory which made me know the importance of being independent without the protect of my parents. Often I was able to go home every three weeks but be only allowed to stay for two days and then I had to go back to school. My mother cared about me very much so that she might come to my school to see me if she was free.

On workdays I had a lot of classes at daytime and had to study by myself in the classroom with all the students who lived in the dormitory at night. The teachers also got ready to indust us on all the subjects on weekend when we were at school. Generally speaking, I didn’t spent time wasting even that I didn’t have at all because of so much exercise to do. Nearly all the students icluding me worked hard in according to go to a famous university or college. There was no doudt that a good university was very attractive so that I had to work hard to achieve the goal.

To be honest, it’ a hard time when I was in xx middle school. By the encourgement of my dream, I tried my best to acquire more ackownledge to make myself be more competitive in the future so that I behaved well in a lot of exams. At the same time, the more goals I achieved the more confident I was. Finally I succeeded again in the last and the most important exam and also I got the chance to go to xx Dianzi university.

Now I have been in university for more than one year and maked some new friends.I believe that I can behave better and I will achieve my goal if I do my best. Being more confident, I dare to meet all the challenges no matter how hard they are.

My Thoughts in campus

My first teacher told me: Life is not a destination but a journey.

When I first came to Nanjing Agricultural University, I knew, I started to begin my new life in a new place. To tell the truth, I was puzzled and confused to learn how to adapt to a new environment. It is a common saying that man who has a settled purpose will surely succeed.

During the long journey, we are becoming more mature. In high

school, I am learning how to find a suitable position for myself. In the University, I am going to learn what we can do for the society. It’s my terminal expectation. No, it’s not an expectation, it’s a purpose.

To realize this dream, there is a long way for me to go. At first

station, I should learn how to cultivate my independence. Don’t rely on others every time. You are an individual. You must know life is yours.

At the second station, we should find a suitable pair of shoes to

take us to everywhere. Like Forest Gump in <<Forest Gump>>. The first pair of shoes was magic shoes. In fact, it was your belief, your belief

takes you to anywhere. In the big campus, we have easy access to books, computers and all kinds of clubs. Have you ever thought of making the most of these resources. You can do it. You must do it. For instance, working as a voluntary, joining in one or two clubs and so on all could develop your ability. However, do believe putting your heart into what

you think can make sense. During the long journey, it’s natural for you to make friends, seek for help and give a hand to others.

At the third station, I would like to think what I could do for the

society. I would like to appreciate for everyone, my mama, my families, my friends, my teachers and so on. I am proud to live in China, live in Wuxi and live in Nanjing. I believe that someday I will stand in the vast area of Africa. I want to hold their hands firmly to build their beautiful life.

It’s going to end my thoughts. I have a motto to share with

everyone: Everything is the best arrangement.
