About Waste

【现象说明】In recent days, the phenomenon of waste in middle school is very common. There are mostly two types of waste: the waste of material and the waste of time. Some students waste money and food because they are from wealthy families, some others waste time because they have no idea of how treasurable time could be.

【阐述观点】From my point of view, the waste of time is a far more crucial problem for middle school students. First, time is limited. You can make more and more money but you can only have less and less time. Second, time is not purchasable. You can’t buy time like you buy food and clothes. What’s more important, middle schools days determine our future, so we should make the best use of it to dream and to strive!

Environment Protection

【解释图片】Nowadays, the earth we live on is suffering environment pollution. The trees on the hills are becoming less and less, the temperature is getting higher and higher, and the sea level keeps on rising.

【说明利害】From my point of view, this is mostly because we have used too much fuel, cut too many trees, and produced a lot of rubbish. However, if we don’t take any action to protect the earth now, then one day the sea will drown the low lands, and all of the human beings will have to live on the mountain tops.

【采取对策】Therefore we should start to protect the environment. We should live a low-carbon life (低碳生活):plant more trees and use less wood, walk more and drive less. All in all, we should do more for and ask less from our earth!

Honest and Dishonest

【论点】We always judge a man by honesty, saying he is good because he never lie. But I think honest and dishonest cannot be the only standard of good and bad

【论据】Everybody needs lies and dishonest people can also be good. Sometimes, we lie to comfort people or to save their faces, and that’s why we have the phrase “the white lie”(善意的谎言). Sometimes, lying can even save a life. For example, a man refused to take a surgery because his family had died in an earthquake. When doctors said that they were alive and waiting for him, he took the surgery and got well very quickly.

【总结】Therefore, what really matters is the purpose and result of lying. So when someone kindly tells you a cock can lay an egg, just smile and try to believe it!

Repay the Love

【道出观点】There is a saying “you scratch my back, I scratch yours”（礼尚往来）, meaning if you benefit me I will benefit you. But many people take it wrongly as material benefit. I think this is wrong. We should repay love in better ways.

【漫画论述】First, we give spiritual repayment. A girl was hit by a car and saved by some strangers. Afterwards her mother wrote a thank-you note to them. Not only the kind people will be thanked but also the public will be touched. Second, we repay love and help by pass it down. Helped by strangers, the girl will do the same to other people, so will her mother. Hence the society will be influenced.

【总结】Therefore, the best way to repay love is showing your gratitude and passing love to others in need.
