PMP指项目管理专业人士资格认证。美国项目管理协会举办的项目管理专业人员PMP认证考试在全球180多个国家和地区推广,是目前项目管理领域含金量最高的认证。获取PMP证书,不仅提升项目经理的项目管理水平,也直接体现项目经理的个人竞争力,是项目管理专业人士身份的象征。PMP作为项目管理资格认证考试,已在国际上树立了其权威性。
PMP为美国培养了一大批项目管理专业人才,项目管理职业已成为美国的“黄金职业”。在中国许多媒体已把PMP称为继MBA,MPA之后的三大金字招牌之一;
PMP认证已成为了一个国际性的认证标准,现在同时用英语、德语、法语、日语、朝语、西班牙语、葡萄牙语和中文等九种语言进行认证考试;

PMP认证报名条件
报名考生必须具备35小时以上项目管理PMBOK学习或培训经历,并出示相关证书复印件。报名考试者必须具备以下两类情况之一。
一 具有学士学位或同等的大学学历或以上者
申请者在五大项目管理过程中至少具有4500小时的项目管理经验,并且,在申请之日前6年内,累计项目管理月数至少达36个月。
注:在计算项目管理月份时,所要求的36个月是不重叠的、单独的。
二 不具有学士学位或同等大学学历或以上者
申请者在五大项目管理过程中至少具有7500小时的项目管理经验,并且,在申请之日前8年内,累计项目管理月数至少达60个月。

The PMI?certification program delivers world-class project management products and services to support reliance on the Project Management Professional (PMP ?) certification globally, in both the public and private sectors.
The PMP Program supports the internationalcommunity of project management
professionals and is designed to objectivelyassess and measure professional knowledge.PMP Program requirements and eligibilitystandards are applied fairly, impartially, andconsistently with applicable laws. The PMPProgram complies with all USA state andfederal government non-discriminatorystatutes and laws and grants certificationindependently of a candidate’s membership ornon-membership in any organization,association or other group.
To achieve PMP certification, each candidatemust satisfy all educational and experientialrequirements established by PMI and mustdemonstrate an acceptable and valid level ofunderstanding and knowledge about projectmanagement that is tested by the ProjectManagement Professional CertificationExamination. In addition, those who havebeen granted the PMP credential (certificants)must demonstrate ongoing professionalcommitment to the field of projectmanagement by satisfying ProfessionalDevelopment Program requirements.
Overview of Project ManagementThe Project Management Institute (PMI)sponsors a project management certificationprogram. The purpose and goal of this projectmanagement certification program is thedevelopment, maintenance, evaluation,promotion, and administration of a rigorous,examination-based, professional certificationprogram of the highest caliber.

Cancellation/Rescheduling/Candidates who need to cancel and reschedulethe examination site and date must providethe PMICertification Department withwritten notification no later than thirty (30)days prior to the examination date. Thosecandidates not making the necessary
notification will forfeit the full examinationfee. Candidates who wish to re-apply for thePMP Certification Examination must submit

Request for Special ExaminationAny candidate may request a modification inthe PMP Certification Examination
administration procedure due to disability,handicap, or other condition which mayimpair the ability of the candidate to take theexamination. In order to request special testingaccommodations, the candidate must properlycomplete the Request for Special
Accommodations for the PMP CertificationExamination Form, which can be requestedfrom the PMI Certification Department.The candidate must provide the PMICertification Department with writtendocumentation from an appropriate healthcare professional supporting the requestedtesting accommodation.
The candidate is responsible for
demonstrating that the request should begranted. The PMI Certification Departmentshall review the request and notify thecandidate of its determination. The PMICertification Department will not pay anycosts that may be incurred by the candidate inobtaining the required diagnosis andrecommendation. However, the PMICertification Department will pay for anyjustified and reasonable test-relatedaccommodations to be provided to thecandidate.

Examination Administration ConductOnly the individual named on the registrationroster will be permitted to take the
examination. Candidates must present anofficial, valid picture identification card atregistration. No substitutions are allowed forregistered candidates.
Candidates are expected to conductthemselves in a professional manner at alltimes at the testing site. Test site personnelwill dismiss any disruptive candidates from thesite if, in the opinion of the test site
administrator, the candidate is disturbing thetesting environment. No refunds will be given to candidates expelled or required toleave the examination due to disruptivebehavior.
No visitors are permitted in testing rooms(including children). Candidates may notbring food, beverages, coats, book bags,
luggage, pagers, cell telephones, tape recorders,or other personal items to the examinationdesks. In addition, smoking and all electronicdevices are prohibited in the test site.Programmable calculators, which areinstruments that can store mathematicalformulae, are prohibited. The use of non-programmable calculators is allowed. Thesecalculators must be silent, have a self-contained power source (battery), not includea printing mechanism, and not include a fullalphabetic character set.
Examination Results Notification andThe PMI Certification Department contactseach candidate by mail after the examinationdate to advise candidates of examinationresults. No results will be given over thephone, faxed or e-mailed. Questionsconcerning the scoring of the examinationshould be directed to the PMI CertificationProgram Manager.
Candidates must pass the examination inorder to be awarded PMP certification status.Candidates failing the examination mustrepeat the examination to become certified. Are-examination form will be enclosed with theexamination score report that is sent toapplicants not passing the examination. Inorder to schedule a retake of the examination,this form must be completed and mailed tothe PMI Certification Department, FourCampus Boulevard, Newtown Square, PA19703-3299 USA. This form must be usedwithin one (1) year from the date of originalapplication and payment.

PMI Test Security And The PMP Certification Examination, itembank, scoring keys, answer sheets, work sheets,and any other examination or examination-related materials remain the sole and exclusiveproperty of PMI. These materials are
confidential and are not available for review byany person or agency for any reason.Examination scores are confidential and willnot be disclosed unless directed to do so byvalid and lawful subpoena or court order. Acandidate requesting that an examination scorebe released to a third party must provide PMIwith a written request specifically identifyingwhich examination score may be disclosed andthe person or organization to whom the scoreshould be revealed. Any violation of the PMITest Security and Confidentiality Policy maybe subject to disciplinary action(s) by the PMICertification Department.
PMP Application and Certification The PMP Certification Program isadministered and supervised by the PMICertification Program Manager. All challengesregarding actions of and by the PMPCertification Program are governed by thecomprehensive and exclusive rules containedin the PMP Certification Appeal Procedures.This appeals process is the only way to resolveany PMP application, eligibility, examination,qualification, professional development, andother certification challenges, complaintsand/or claims of irregularities.
A candidate or certificant may submit arequest, in writing, for review of an adversePMP Certification Program action, decision,or determination to the PMI CertificationProgram Manager, consistent with therequirements of the Certification AppealProcedures.

Professional Development Program Information
After attaining the Project ManagementProfessional Certification, all PMPs must satisfy the requirements of theProfessional Development Program tomaintain their PMP status.
Each PMP must satisfy the ProfessionalDevelopment Program requirements in orderto maintain the PMP certification. PMPs arerequired to attain no less than sixty (60)Professional Development Units (PDUs)within a three (3)-year cycle and agree tocontinue to adhere to PMI’s Code ofProfessional Conduct.

7.I agree that certification as a PMP does not imply licensure, registration, or government authorization to practice projectmanagement or to engage in related activities.
8.I agree that all materials that I submit to the PMI Certification Department become the property of the PMI CertificationDepartment, and that the PMI Certification Department is not required to return any of these materials to me.
9.I understand that if PMI is contacted about my certification status, PMI will release this information.
10.I agree that information related to my participation in the PMP certification process may be used in an anonymous manner forresearch purposes only.

13.I hereby release, discharge, and indemnify PMI, its directors, officers, members, examiners, employees, attorneys, representatives,agents, and the PMI Certification Department from any actions, suits, obligations, damages, claims, or demands arising out of, orin connection with, this application, the scores given with respect to the examination, or any other action taken by PMI withregard to certification, testing, and professional development, including, but not limited to, all actions related to ethics matters andcases. I understand and agree that any decision concerning my qualification for any certification, as well as any decisions regardingmy continuing qualification for any certification and my compliance with the PMP Code of Ethics, rest within the sole andexclusive discretion of PMI and that these decisions are final.
