五、 研究課題

本研究群研究「軟體工程」相關領域。隨著個人電腦、微處理器應用與

嵌入式系統的低價化與普及化，軟體幾乎無所不在，各種生活上的應用隨處可見。軟體不僅提升產品價值，更已成為產品必要的一部份。近年來，我國IT、通訊製造、服務業者，投入大量的資源與人力，提昇軟體開發的能力；政府亦提供獎勵，透過資訊應用旗艦計畫、經濟部工業局提昇軟體品質計畫等，有系統的協助業者通過CMMI評鑑。因此，在可預見的將來，軟體開發的活動將會持續熱絡，且軟體人力之需求將會持續殷切，軟體工程的重要性自然與日俱增。

六、 未來研究方向、運作方式與達成目標（約300字）

運作方式：

1. 以研究群模式，有系統的承接來自各界的軟體研發計畫(稱為應用領域專案)，如國科會自由軟體(整合型)計畫、業界委託軟體研發計畫等。

2. 研究軟體開發相關技術，提供各應用領域建立軟體開發流程基礎建設與工具支援。

3. 推廣實用軟體技術(proven software practices)，協助業界解決問題。

4. 辦理軟體相關推廣教育，服務業界。

達成目標：

一、短程發展目標：

1. 承接國科會自由軟體整合型計畫，第一、二、三年以WiMAX通訊軟體研發、環境設置、工具開發為主。

2. 接洽軟體、IT相關業者及組織，建立策略夥伴或軟體開發合作關係。

3. 逐步調整共同軟體流程，使其符合CMMI規範，並通過ML 2(或以上)評鑑。

4. 培養諮詢與接受委託之能量。

5. 規畫在學學生參與軟體開發。

二、中程發展目標：

1. 建立與國內外其他軟體開發研究機構之交流與合作關係。

2. 開設相關短期課程，服務業界。

3. 研究軟體工廠之運作模式。

三、長程發展目標：

1. 與國際接軌，參與軟體工程先進技術之研究與發展。

2. 提供軟體工廠建立之諮詢服務。

軟體系統實驗室、網際網路實驗室、軟體工程實驗室。

硬體設備：個人電腦、筆記型電腦、電腦伺服器、雷射印表機、單槍投影機。 軟體部分：軟體廣播系統、Microsoft Visual Studio .NET、Microsoft Direct X RT & SDK等。
