Using small pieces of time I have to study is a good way to finish my heavy homework. I usually memorize new words by reading word cards on my way to school. It makes my way (journey) interesting and meaningful and also save my time. Another smart way for me is to listen carefully in class.problems and can have enough time to do my favorite sports after school. After doing sports, I feel energetic and relaxed. It is helpful for me to concentrate better on my study. (It helps me to make my learning effective).

Both study and entertainment are very important. Living a well-organized life does matter. It can not only help my study well but also make my life enjoyable.

To balance my study and entertainment well, I have made a plan about when to study and when to rest. After a long time of learning, I always watch TV for a while. Life in Grade 9 is really different from the past. I didn’t use to have so much work to do both at school and at home, but now I leave school very late and may not be able to get home before 7:00, and even though I get home there’s also tons of homework waiting for me. Fortunately, I’ve come up with some ideas to deal with the problems.

Making good use of my time at school to finish the homework does help save my time. I think it’s a smart and efficient way because a little bit of effort at the breaks can help me earn a lot of time to do the things I like and enjoy, and it’s the little things that make a big difference. What’s more, always putting the schoolwork before entertainment on the schedule does matter. On the one hand, I may feel better this way because I’ll be free once I finish it; on the other hand, it also pushes me to do the homework faster, which makes it possible for me to still have a lot of time doing my own things after finishing all the work from school.

However, I think a positive attitude is the most important thing after all. Life like this can be miserable for me if I just complain all day, but once I realize these problems can’t be avoided, I would fight on and try my best to make things better.

Everything has changed since the moment I started Grade 9. I used to be carefree, but now, with the image of the important test clarified, finding the balance between things I want to do and things I need to do is crucial.

First off, I find making promises to myself really helpful, for Grade 9 is all about self consciousness. I’d say things like “I could watch an episode of American series if I performed well in a math test”, as a result, I’d make every effort to have a good mark, which leads towards studying even harder than usual. Offering attractive things reasonably can always provide me the motivation in some ways. Studying with friends is a wise choice on improving my efficiency as well. I always idle when studying alone, but once I am with friends of my level, things work out differently, for we can always supervise one another. With people around me keep reminding me not to waste my time, concentrating becomes fairly easy. What’s more, being in a study group provides me the chance of solving problems together with my friends, which always widens my ways of thinking or gives me techniques on the similar problems. Time flies by when we are studying, but the best results are always presented. Grade 9 is a period of pure grinding land and being whiny only makes it worse; realizing your problems and finding solutions to them positively are what really matter. After all, that’s what people called “growth”.
