Hurricane sandy ,a late –season post –tropical cyclone ,swept through the Caribbean and up the east cost of the united states in late October 2012 .The storm left dozens dead and thousands homeless.Total damage are expect to be in billions .

Sandy began as a tropical wave in Caribbean on oct.19 .It quickly developed ,becoming a tropical depression and then a tropical storm in just six hours .Rain fell steadily and gray clouds scudded.Wind and rian whipped house ,car ,building and everything.Glass from windows and doors ,car fly from storm –shattered .As the wind mounted to roar ,the rain seemingly driven right through the streets and walls .A full moon made high tides 20 percent higher than normal . Streets were flooded ,trees and the citys famed boardwork was rippled apart .Parts of the beach and highways were strewn with dead dogs ,cats ,cattle.Strips of clothing festooned the standing trees and blown-down power lines coiled like black spaghetti over the roads .People were left stranded in their homes and waited destroyed teams in boats to rescue them .

Sandy forced president Barack Obama and republican challenger mift Romney to cancel .Some campaigh stops and fueled fears that it could discrupt early voting-encouraged by the candidates this year more than ever-before the November 6.“this a serious and

big storm .” Obama said after a briefing at the federal government storm response center in Washington .

If there were something stricking me deeper than the shattering scenes, that is the reaction of the federal government and kinds of organazitions .they do everything quickly to saved peoples life .helping them to rebuild their house ,which makes me thinking about the earthquick in Sichuan privence .

World peace

Wars company the history of humans development .today , different countries seek ways to keep the world peace .although,there are many conflicts ,we still believe our dream of world peace will come ture one day .

World peace is an ideal of freedom ,peace and happiness among and has the right to be happy . every country every one has the right to be happy. However ,the concept of happiness is different because of belief and education. For example Japen is a country of strong envy and hostility .they are lock of kindness .when Hiroshima was destroyed by actomic boom ,thousand opon thousand of people

slew in one second and others lingered on to die in slow agony .however ,the government can not see these . they still want to comtinue the war .that is the education which cause this . it is important to advocate world peace idea and education to the coun tries ,like japen .because they are not clear what is right .world peace should cherished from children.

War is big game of some leders .however ,is a disaster of comma people .jimmy carter once said “war may sometimes be a necessary evil .but no matter how necessary ,it is always an evil ,here a good we will not learn how to live together in peace by killing each others children .if some leders can make choice before caring his people ,maybe he will change his idea .they victory is ture ,the death ,destroy ang homeless is real .

Today ,many orgazitions help to deal with problem about world peace .our country make great effort to keep the world peace .more and more country realize that world peace is important for development .only if the world envorment is steady ,countries can have the chance to make better life .

On the other hand, there are always some people who view this gap negatively. They believe that a lot of crimes happen as a result of this income gap. Some people make so little from their work that they risk taking criminal acts to get rich. In fact, experts have long found out that most cases of crime are directly related to low income. There is another point to back up a negative view against income gap. For most people, income gap may destroy the satisfaction that they obtain from work.

Faced with this situation, people will undoubtedly have different opinions. Some believe that it benefits the social and economic development since driving force is often derived from the gap. In other words , the gap inspires people and gives a push to advancement. Other speak of its side effect: income gap is often the root of social unrest and also contrary to our country’s principle. From my point of view, while it is true that the income may stimulate the social development to some extent, it causes trouble as well. An income gap that is too wide for most people to bear can neither contribute to the stability of a country nor promote its economic development. Therefore , while we are advocating the rapid development of our country , we should tolerate the narrow income gap but narrow the wide one.
