Some people claim that they would not accept any jobs until they find the satisfying one. But in fact, it is almost impossible to make this dream come true, thus it is against the status quo. A secure job can brings people a lot of benefits at present.

First of all, a secure job which offers a constant incoming leads to a satisfying life. In this economical society, a secure job can bring people a comfortable house and delicious foods，meet their daily demand.. Even though the work wouldn’t be fulfilling, maybe the worker cannot get a lot of money at once, or maybe he feels boring about the job, this secure job is a necessary part of his substantial life. For example, my cousin faced with a secure job which is to be a teacher in a primary school when he finished his schooling, but he thought it was low-paid and wanted to get a satisfied one. Consequently, he rejected it. Now he is living in a small apartment without a window, waiting for a satisfied job. He really regrets what he did. In conclusion, a secure job provides a stable life.

Secondly, when a person gets into the society, he should take his obligation, especially for his family. A job means a wage. Nowadays, fostering a college student costs huge amount of money. It is a burden for every family. Many families have to borrow money from bank to pay the tuition fee. It is his turn when the student leaves the school, there is no reason for him to reject a secure but sable job and still spend the money from his parents. In my opinion, it should be the best time to repay parents when people can earn something by themselves. Considering about the obligation of family, people should accept secure job.

What's more, getting a stable job does not mean people do it for life time. I think they can just work on it, earn the money while waiting for another opportunity to a better job. In addition, people can master working skills from the present work, in order to preparing for the better one. I used to do a part time job in KFC while I was waiting for my interview as a after-school high school teacher. I learned a lot in KFC, which greatly helped me to get alone with my student. All in all, there is no reason to reject a secure job.

As it talked above, there is no doubt that people should catch the opportunity to get a secure job. They can get paid immediately for their family and life as well as train themselves for the next job. It is a win-win situation.

In terms of the causes of the Little Ice Age, in the reading material, the author claims three possible causes of the Little Ice Age. However, the lecturer in the listening part says the causes mentioned in the reading are out of date. There is new information which can prove that the causes mentioned in the reading are not convincing.

First, the author says the Little Ice Age may cause by disrupting of glaciers which can affect Gulf Stream. But the professor points out the Gulf Stream can only influence few areas like Europe and North America. In fact, the Little Ice Age had effects on south hemisphere such as New Zealand and South Africa, too. So this theory cannot explain the cause of the Little Ice Age.

What's more, the writer claims that volcanoes eruption could be the cause of the Little Ice Age. The speaker admits that the volcano can release enough dust. But he argues that large amount of dust produced by volcano will bring striking visual effect that people can notice. Since there is no report of colorful sunset or grey snow at that time, the volcano is not strong enough to cause the Little Ice Age.

Finally, it is mentioned in the reading that the Little Ice Age could be caused by the increasing forests which can remove carbon dioxide as a result of decrease of population. The lecturer refutes that view by pointing out that there is not enough time for this effect to work. He argues that the human populations grow quickly to the previous level and lots of trees are cut down accordingly. Therefore, there is not enough time for the trees to cause global warming. So the third theory is impossible.
