My best friend
My best friend Lin Fang is such a (an) nice / optimistic / kind-hearted girl from whom I have learnt a lot. She often appears with her big smile and brings happiness to me. Besides, she gets on/along well with her classmates and friends. What makes me moved is that Lin Fang always tries her best to help a person who is in trouble. Once when I got a sudden stomachache, she came to me right away and took me to the hospital. Moreover, she is always ready to listen to me when I am upset and never refuse my request. What’s more, she is outgoing. She enjoys taking part in all kinds of school activities. For example, she enjoys dancing, and she also draws well. She often joins in competitions and has won many prizes. I feel proud of her as her best friend. I’m sure that we’ll be good friends forever. As far as I am concerned, she is not only a good friend but also a family member to me.

C. Remember hands and Gretel?
The children who go into the woods.
I .I .Hansel and Gretel know how not to get lost. They walk into the woods.
Luckily Hansel had brought some pebbles.
As they walk further, he dropped a pebble at every step. When they wanted to come back
They follow the trail of the pebbles.
Out of the seep dark woods.
Pebbles are the best way not to get lost.
Lt. you can use pebbles to follow the trail
L .you must have bright clothes.

What is it? It is maze.
C .it’s a maze .Lola!
M. What is a maze?
M .it’s like a puzzle made out of lots of hedges. You have to get to the middle.
When you’re there, you have to get back out. It’s hard and the whole idea is to get lost.
What Marv is saying?
I. we are not going to get lost.
We know everything about not going lost.
Exactly.
C. you can only get lost when you want to.
M. come on I think it is this way.
Find the middle, see you later.
L. come on Lotta.
Yes we have to find the middle.
M shall we use the whistle?
I. Why? –are you lost?
- No. we are not lost.
I. we only use the whistle when we are lost. Let’s go and do the pebbles.
Just like Hansel and grtel.
Lt. Ah, your go.
L. My turn, your turn.
Lt. we’ve run out of pebbles.
Shall we do the whistle?
I. No, we are still not lost.
C .where are you Lola?

Lt .we has been waiting ages for you two.
L .yes, completely ages. Didn’t you get lost, even a little?
C .how did you get back?
M didn’t you get back?
It. We followed the pebble trail.
Just like Hansel and Gretel.
L .you see, we know exactly how not to get lost.
C .I told you you’d have fun.
And you wouldn’t get lost.
I. Yes, I know, because I’m good at not getting lost.
Foxy, there you are!
I just love my red shiny shoes (3/7)
I. Shoes! Shoes! Where are you, shoes?
C .I has this little sister Lola. She is small.
L. shiny shoes, where are you?
C. and very funny.
Lila has been crawling around all morning.
I .shoe, shoe, where are you?
C. why don’t you wear a different pair?
I. they are my most favorite red shiny shoes.
I wear them all the time.
C .so I say “Lola, think of the last place.
Where you were wearing your red shiny shoes”
I. I was wearing both my shoes when I came home from Lotta’s, perhaps I took my shoes off there.
C .you doesn’t take your shoes off b the door.
Why would your shoes be in the fridge?
I. Maybe I put them there when I was looking for the pink milk.
My shoes are not in there.
C. what did you do next?
I .I finished my pink milk, yummy!
And then I went to watch television.
C. What you doing?
I .this is how I watch television.
I must have taken my shoes off there.
Because mum said, “Lola, please do not wear shoes on the sofa.”
So I took them off.
c. I had an idea.
May be the sofa has gobbled up your shoes.
I. maybe the sofa gobbles up my shiny shoes.
Paperclip, banana, oh, it is red, it is red.
Oh, it is mum’s comb.
The sofa hasn’t gobbled up my shoes.
C .don’t worry, we’ll find them.
Where did you go after watching television?
I .then I want, and then I want bank to the front door.
Sometimes dad leaves toffee in his coat.
Toffees are delicious after television. So maybe I left my shoes here. No, they are not hereto. I’m never going to find my red shoes again.
c. Lola, think really hard.
I .i am, Charlie. I’m thinking the hardest, I can really think.
Maybe by accident, the y got into the cake I was making with mum.
Maybe they got planted in the pot, when I was doing gardening.
Maybe they walked off all on their own.
Not there, not anywhere.
C. Wear some different ones until you find them again.
I. Look now I remember .mum told me to put my shoes in the cupboard!
Hello shoes, I’ve been looking for you everywhere.
C .Lola, you see, mum was right.
She said those shoes were small for you.
I .no, they are not.
There.
C .okay, let’s go.
Are you sure they are not small.
I. They are my favorite and my best.
C .dad said those shoes are too small.
I. I don’t need new shoes。 I only like these shoes different shoes won’t go with my skipping dress. They won’t go with my favorite dressing-up costume.
I can’t have new ones. Not ever.
All these shoes are too big for me.
C. you get to have your feet measured.
So we can find exactly the right size shoes for you
There are exactly the right sizes.
Everyone will think I look lovely in these shoes, because they are the same as my shoes. M. look at Lola’s new red shoes.
We love your shoes, Lola.
Ooh, look at Lola’s shoes.
They are lovely.
Yes perfect.
c. Lola, those shoes are definitely too big for you.
I’ll ask if they’ve got the right size.
No they don’t. I don’t want any new shoes, unless they are octally like my old shoes which are extremely very special.
There are hundreds of shoes here.
None will do the thing I need them to do.
They need to be shiny so I can see my face in them. they need to be bouncy, so I can do a lot of jumping and dancing. And they need to have a grippy underneath, because I have to do climbing up things.
C. dad says try there, they are red.
I. they are red, but they are not shiny or bouncy or grippy on the underneath.
C. what about these?
You haven’t seen them.
I. I know I don’t like them, because they are not my shoes.
C. you have got to at least try.
I. I just like my red shiny shoes.
C. dad says you have to choose now,
or he is going to close a pair for you.
I.I chooses my old shoes.
I really extremely don’t like my new shoes.
They are not bouncy; they are not grippy on the underneath. They are not shiny. And they are brown and buckle-y.
C. dad thought you’d like the buckles. Just wear them to school for one day and see.
#sailor went to sea.
To see what he could what? what is it?
Lt. Lola, what’s making that jingly noise?
I.My new shoes.
Lt. Listen, they sound like a pony!
L. I don’t like them.
Lt. they do sound like a pony.
I wish my shoes sounded like a pony.
Make the pony noise again.
L. they sound like a pony.
C. Lola, how are your new shoes?
They sound like a pony.
Giddy-up lotta.
Giddy-up.
Lt. I am catching you up ,Lola.
Look at Lola’s lovely shoes!
I wish I had shoes like that.
I like the buckles.
