My thoughts shimmer with these shimmering leaves and my heart sings with the touch of this sunlight; my life is glad to be floating with all things into the blue of

这是美语缩读之一，美国人在日常生活中高频率使用缩读，比如“邀请您跳支舞可以吗？”，就可以说：Wanna

dance？

better：歌中的better相当于had better（应该，还是…好）。与had better相比，better更口语化，如：You better come back.（你最好还是回来。）

I like it that way: 那样很好（这句在日常生活中经常使用，表示同意某种“方式，风格或做法”）

注意一下 one's way，this way，that way的用法，如：

Have it your own way. 照你的风格去做吧

teasin' squeezin' pleasin' = teasing squeezing pleasing（动词的现在分词形式）

I burn it black: 这句嘛，对厨艺不高的“笨夫娇妇”来说，使用频率也相当高。下次若把饭烧糊了，就可以说“I burn the dinner black”。
