I. There is no substitute for blood

A. People are the only source. It is reported that over 3,000 donations are needed every week.

B. Without blood, some patients having surgery or cancer treatment would not survive.

C. Each donation can help the recovery of up to three patients in hospital. So when you donate blood, you give a second chance at life to someone unknown to you.

II. It’s also good for you.

A. Blood donation can accelerate the metabolic process. In patients prone to iron overload, blood donation prevents the accumulation of toxic quantities.

B. Studies have shown that donating blood regularly can be beneficial for the heart and circulatory system and can reduce the risk of heart diseases, especially among young people.

C. Blood donation also burns the extra calories and reduces your cholesterol level.

各位老师,各位同学,大家好,我是来自XX,今天我演讲的题目是:《无偿献血——真情与爱的奉献》。

生活中,我们常常在思考:微风从湖水上飘过,留下粼粼碧波;骆驼从沙漠中走过,留下深深足迹;岁月从森林中走过,留下圈圈年轮。我们在这个社会中生活,又能为这个社会留下些什么,奉献些什么呢?

血液。初拿到这个主题的时候,我们每个人想到的都是这个神奇的东西——汩汩流淌于体内,生而起始,死而枯竭。(1min)伴随我们的一生流动,为我们的生命注入滚滚源泉。同时,又能帮助有需要的人,救人于危难。

常常,血液被誉为“生命之河”。在医疗上,外伤性出血、严重烧伤、及施行外科手术的伤员都需要靠输血来补充、救治。这些血液从何而来?事实证明,只有无偿献血才是血液最科学、最合理、最安全的来源。因为,无偿献血这种来源最能保证血液的卫生。对供血者来说,一次献血200ml-400ml很快将得到补充,决不会影响健康。(2min)
