校园里的故事是一种怀恋，它可以常青于岁月之藤，岁月的风也无法将它摧败。夏末秋至，无限清凉，我们一同踏进了这陌生的大门，到达人生的又一驿站——印刷学院。第一天的忙碌中有人帮忙拿包，有人帮忙指路，原来是很温暖的。才发现，大学是一种美丽，它让我们结识了更多的朋友，这也许将是我们一生最大的财富。大学是一种美丽，它让我们学到更多知识，不断完善自我，为脚下之路进行铺垫。大学是一种美丽，它是人生画卷里最最绚烂的篇章。

我说，面向太阳就会看到希望；勇敢成长就是一种锋芒；拥有梦想就拥有可能。我相信梦想是最好的信仰，拥有梦想的人会一直向前而不彷徨。所以，我们要好好地融入这个全新的校园，在享受美好日子的同时努力适应大学的学习和生活方式，放飞新的希望，做一个对未来的规划。古人常说“志当存高远”，没有目标就没有前进的方向，也毫无动力可言，远大的理想更需要今朝勤奋刻苦的积累。

幼小的百灵鸟并不因为嘶哑的声音而放弃歌唱，沙漠的仙人掌并不因为恶劣的环境而放弃生命中唯一一次的开花。年轻的我们站在新的起跑线上又怎能落后？大学生活是我们人生新的起点，我们也就要以此为跳板，踏上社会的舞台。今天，我们来了。四年后，我们走了。相信四年之后走出去的，不再是一个懵懂，淘气的孩子，而是一个个学业突出，精神饱满的栋梁。那时，我们每一个人可以自豪的大声说：“青春，无悔！”

最后：“人生因为有梦,才会有希望。路漫漫其修远兮，吾将上下而求索。”是的，送给我自己，也与大家共勉！

Good evening, Honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen. I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. The title of my speech is “Imagine occupation and take action”.

No matter whether you want, we will graduate from the college. No matter whether you are ready, we will go into the society. No matter whether you like, we all need to find a job. At all events, we totally need accept all of them. Confronting initiatively is better than accepting passively. Please imagine our future career and future life. Ask yourselves what’s kind of job we want? What kind of job we can do?

I have a small story and want to share with you. There are four worms that grew up together; they went into forest to find their favorite food--apple. The first one walked long way with aimlessness. It came to an apple tree, but it didn’t know the tree is an apple tree. Just when it saw others climbing, it followed. The second one went straight to an apple tree, it wanted to get a big apple, but it didn’t know how to find. It just supposed the big apple in the big tree, so it climbed along the big branch. The third one found an apple tree, before climbing the tree; it looked for the big apple with the telescope. Wrote the path down .But when it arrived, the big apple had rotted. The forth one also aimed at big apple, but it didn’t pay attention to the big apple, it know the apple would grow up. It found a bud apple flower with the telescope, and then made a clear plan about how to get it. Finally it got a big red fresh apple.

There is no doubt the first one is loser, we all don’t like the first one. But we sometimes just the same as it that didn’t think and dream, just went with the stream and led an aimless sort of life. Everyday, we wait for the arrangement of job from the god, parents and relatives. If you still are similar to the first one, please stop to dream and consider your future occupation.

Please don’t think the imagination of occupation is meaningless, if you do, just because you never consider it with your heart. Please don’t think the imagination of occupation is vain, if you do, just because you dream it without the reality. The imagination of occupation is basic on the reality and come from the life. It is the foundation of our career target. Please value it. If we can’t say confidently we are the forth worm, please learn it. Please dream your future occupation and find a suitable goal of career with your telescope. Then make a career planning and take action.

Firstly, Study yourself. This is the key to career planning. Understanding what you like, what you value, and what you want to become that is the foundation for all career planning. In studying yourself, you should examine your strengths and weaknesses, your goals and the trends in your personal development. The self-understanding that you gain enables you to imagine how

certain occupations may best fit your personality, interests, abilities, and goals. All career decisions require us to learn both ourselves and work, and to integrate these two kinds of knowledge.

Secondly, we need make environmental assessment. We all live in a variety of environment，Living environment, social environment, family environment. We need to analyze the relationship between the environment and us to find out the best point.

Then, settle your career goals down depend on studying yourselves and analyzing the environment. Write something down to force yourselves to crystallize your thinking .It may lead to new insights about your possibilities and may help you to see new relationships, patterns, and trends, or to identify gaps in your thinking about your career development.

Take action. As we all know, everything is impossible without action. Please make good use of everyday to practice your plan.

No matter you are fresh, sophomore or junior, please all imagine your future occupation, find the goal, make a career planning and take action now. Endeavor to become the forth worm, you can get the big red apple. Believe ourselves, we can, just do it.
