Hello, everyone. I am XX. Before starting my speech, I want to ask all of you some questions. I believe everyone here must have your own friends, right? So, can you have a recall, how did you first meet with your friends? Are you classmates? Friends’ friends? Colleges? And have you ever tried making friends via the Internet? I think there must exist somebody who hold a distrustful attitude towards the friendship on the Internet. Actually, I ,XX, used to be a such girl. even I used to hold an awful attitude towards it.

For example, looking for friends via QQ made me feel unsafe, because when chatting with someone, you may not absolutely know about his real age, his look, his characters and so on .It feels like talking with someone who is totally unreal. I refused this feeling from the bottom of my heart, never consider mentioning accepting it. Though, I know I am off base(不正确) with that idea, after all ,you know the feeling means so much to man.

But the older I get it seems the more I realize that the friendship in era of network is not something we usually think of as something to be unreliable. Take the Sina micro-blog for example.

In the last few years, the rise in the use of Sina micro-blog have drawn Chinese attention. As the proverb goes, every coin has its two sides, making friends via blog is no exception. when using them, you won’t be worried about feeling impolite just because not to send words back to the man who is talking with you .And this way gives people more freedom and choice rights to know the man who you want to know, right? And you can easily make a good new friend according to the familiar hobbies or the same idol(偶像) or the same city with you. On the contrary, it can cause some problems such as misleading us by some unreal information, and make some people’s private matters public. In a word, they can be good ways for us young people to entertain and make friends if we use them properly

And at last, I want to add some supplement. The life on the Internet is colorful. Even though I know everyone here including me is a nice guy. We need to have a sense of defense to the strangers who you realize by the Internet at the first time .But if one day, you find there exits someone who is really nice to communicate with,

please open your real heart to him/her, because the friendship only grows where the sincerity is laid.

Really friendship is above anything else, considerate and regardless of the profit-not just in the real life –but in anywhere and anytime..

Friendship

Ladies and gentlemen, good evening. I `m very glad to stand here and make a brief speech for you.

Before my speech, I’d like to introduce myself to you. I’m Leon. And my Chinese name is SaiLiujin. I come from Pharmacy English ,Class3. It seems that I am the only freshman in all competitors. I’m usually a lucky dog.

As far as I am concerned, I usually read some interesting books to kill my spare time. Listening to pieces of music and doing some exercise are also good choices for me when I am free.

Besides, I am fond of traveling along. There is also enough time for me to think about myself in my trip. Loneness helps me a lot find the true meaning of my life. In my trip, I can meet many people, participate in different conversions and form new, unforgettable friendships.

Friendship is the most rewarding thing I reap in my trip. That`s why I choose it as the topic of my speech today. Now, let`s begin.

Nobody can deny that we human beings are social animals. In another word, most of us cannot live free of contacting with

others.

So, we need friends. Our life can be quite different if we have some true friends. Personally, friends is my closest accompany expect my families. As we know, true friends share not only joy but, more often, share sorrow. For a depressed person, comfort from his or her friend is just like the sunshine. In the world, there is nothing warmer than it. And encouraging form our close friends always gives us courage when we are shy. Our close friends are just like the greatest magicians who can drive away the cloud in our heart easily and make our life happy and harmonious.

What’s more, there is an old saying goes that: a friend in need is a friend indeed. The meaning of this sentence explains that: as life is full of different troubles and conflicts, reliable friends can help us out of difficulties. We need help from our friends, and also we shouldn’t forget to give a hand they need us. We can’t expect to lucky though without an effort.

Do you have such a friend, who is your first choice to ask for help without hesitation if you come across some troubles? And at the same situation, he or she will also turn to you immediately. Do you have one, or more? If so, then

congratulations! If not, don’t lose you heart. What you need to do is improving yourself but not finding fault with others. Believe the golden rule that treat others in the way you want be treated in. And just keep doing it.

In a word, to our friends, we should learn what to treasure, what to tolerate and what to share. Friendship is a certain thing that we should value forever, one that we couldn’t trade for anything!
