You Should Speak Now

Real life is a funny thing, you know. I think most of us fear reaching the end of our life, and looking back regretting the moments we didn’t speak up. When we didn’t say "I love you." When we should’ve said "I'm sorry." So there is a time for silence. There is a time for waiting your turn. But if you know how you feel, and you so clearly know what you need to say, you’ll know it. I don’t think you should wait. I think you should speak now.

This is what I learned from high school. It changed my life deeply. Freshman year in high school is really tough for me. Luckily, I met Ding. And soon we became very good friends. We are in the same dorm and he’s at my upper berth. We talked a lot. In fact, we talked everything. But gradually, I found a rift between us. And the rift is extending. But I really don’t know how to deal with it. One day, I felt awful and upset. Ding came and asked me out to play soccer. I decided not to go. Ding was a little unpleasant. He tried to persuade me to go. I said, you just want other people to feel more pain, and then you’ll be happy, aren’t you? He was shocked and we didn’t even talk to each other for two days.

During these two days, I really felt terrible. I don’t know whether it will work if I said sorry. And I felt awkward to say sorry. Yet finally I gathered my courage and said to him that I was really sorry. To my surprise, he told me he was also sorry for ignoring me in those two days and he felt so warm that I said it. Since then, our friendship is as solid as a stone. We performed together in school New Year Festivals and had really happy three years in high school. Although we are at different collages, we are always connecting on the Internet. I felt we can’t live without each other. Words can break someone into a million pieces, but they can also put them back together. Now I am sort of an outspoken person. Life is short and we don’t need to hide something, if we feel sorry or love someone, just speak it out.

Good morning，dear judges and friends,

I'm very glad and excited that I have a chance like this to share my own opinions with you.

To be honest, I can still remember the first time that in my university life. As same as this time, my heart would have jumped out of my chest if I couldn’t control my breath. Yes, I just have graduated from the university. As a teacher, I am a new. The feeling is the same, but today I am a teacher----a love teaching teacher. So, being a teacher of English, I have this speech of responsibility, which always fills me with strength and confidence. In my teaching way I will meet many people. So, today the topic of my speech is “to meet the best.”

To meet the best myself. As a teacher, I always ask me: why I choose this job? Of course, to be a teacher is my childhood dream. Ha-ha, it’s not true. In my deep heart, I want show my knowledge, and I am so enjoy the feeling when students call me “teacher”. Yes, this reason is so selfish. Let’s change the roles, if I am a student, I want have a teacher who can give me all of his wisdom. Is it right?

I think your answer is “yes”! In my opinions, in order to keeping this charming feeling, we should improve ourselves in all aspects. Finally, to meet the best ourselves.

To meet the best student. This is the second person I meet. School education is very important and useful. The students not only learn knowledge but also get an education. Yet, no one can learn everything at school. The scientists, such as Edison, Newton, Galileo and Einstein, did not learn everything at school. They learned a lot of knowledge outside school or practice by themselves. Our job is to show our students how to learn, how to read and how to think.

A good teacher with rich experience in teaching can teach his students the methods of study. Through these methods the students are able to learn and get a lot of things by themselves. Let them to be the best himself. Let us to meet the best student.

To meet the best that is a quite attitude. As a teacher, we just have a hot heart to stay in our jobs, work diligently and conscientiously, be conscientious and do our best. Finally, I hope everybody can to meet best.
