Animal Farm 读后感

Animal Farm

The book tells us a story which seems a little odd. In a farm, one day, the animals overthrow their master, the farmer-Mr. Jones, and found their own power called “Animal farm”. They also put forward an important rule: “All animals are equal”. At first the power develops well in the lead of the pigs and meets all animals demand.

However, pleasant hours fly past, the power separate into two parts. And, after lots of changes, the farm becomes quite different from what they hope it to be at the beginning.

From the novel, first, I feel the power of faith. With faith, animals struggle the equal from humans. But I also realize that aimless faith can lead to huge mistakes. It just likes the two sides of a coin. Second, I found it is true that history depends on the winner. Once a party wins a combat, it will try to advocate its ideas and criticize its enemy’s. In fact almost every kind of political ideology is made to strengthen the winners’ govern. The difference is what we common people can indeed benefit form it. I think government by majority is necessary to build an equal society. Maybe that is why the author objects to

polarization.

第二篇:《动物农场》读后感-animal farm

George Orwell’s novel 《Animal Farm》 a story about a farm in England. An old pig Major called on animals to fight against the master to live a better life. After Major died, the animals drove away the master and as the cleverest animal in the farm, pigs acted as their leaders. At first, pigs set up their own “Animalism” which showed that every animal was born equal. But later, the most powerful pig Napoleon changed the rule into “Every animal was born to be equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” Apparently, it was unfair and disobeyed Major’s thoughts, but unfortunately, most animals were thoughtless and fooled by Napoleon. When one of the pig-Snowball suggested setting up school to teach animals, he was driven away by Napoleon’s protectors. Gradually, pigs became more and more greedy and worked with human beings finally. At the end, animals in the farm couldn’t distinguish pigs from human.

Is it a ridiculous story? Absolutely not, this story was true in our human world. It is a reflection of a country. The theme is interesting, as human beings, where there is pressure, there’s a fight. Only by holding revolution can we gain freedom and equality. However, the real democracy is based on the awareness of the whole country. Every citizen should be greatly educated and has their own thoughts towards their country’s affairs. Or they will be fooled by the person who owns selfish thoughts. In a word, a country must pay more attention to its education so that this country can develop steadily.
