Last week, one of my classmates, Li Ming, was struck down by a serious infectious disease and was sent to hospital. He became very weak and was sent to hospital. The news spread quickly in the class.

At first, many of us were afraid of being infected, but under the teacher’s encouragement, we gradually conquered the anxiety and set out to try our best to help him. Some teachers and students brought many daily and necessities and nutrients. And it impressed me most that some students recorded the lectures for Li Ming so that he would not be left behind. As a result, with our care and doctors’ professional treatment, he recovered quickly.

Such an incident teaches us an important moral, that is, our society is full of love and warmth. People, under all circumstances, should give others a hand. 2. A real test in my life 叙述你生活中经历的一次考验

I was asked to deliver a mini-speech in front of the whole class for the first time ten years ago. It was so unexpected and fruitful that I was left a deep impression.

It happened in a discussion class., when the teacher asked us to give a mini-speech about the pollution in China. Hearing this, all the students fell into silence. Thus my teacher had to ask one students to say something, and he chose me. At first, I stood on the platform with my mind blank and my legs trembling. Almost at the same time, my teacher encouraged me with a smile and my classmates waited patiently without signs of rushing me. As a result, I found myself back, stammered out my speech and finished it with the applause of my teacher and classmates.

This experience brought great influence on me. For one thing, I came to realize that what I did in that class was far beyond a simple speech. My fear of speaking before the audience disappeared from then on. For another, I got to know that the greatest obstacle on our way t success is our own fear. Therefore, we should overcome the fear and be confident when proceeding towards our goals.

Furthermore, she encouraged me and eased my uncomfortable feelings cause by the flood. In conclusion, I do believe that a friend in need is a friend indeed.
