Good afternoon, teachers. I am of great honor to stand here and intruduce myself to you , especially for a student from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Thank you for giving me the chance.

My name is Zheng Fucheng, majoring in marketing in Shihezi University. Recently, I have been preparing for the post-graduate examination and some activities in our university. During my first three years in university I acted as the Class League Secretary, the vice-chairman of the Students’ Association Union and the vice-president of Swimming Association. Most time of my first three years are spent bustling about my work and my studies, which was a huge task for me, actually. But I am happy that I made it, and I feel happy and fulfilled about it. I once mapped out some university activities, such as 100-club recruitment and hosting competition, and participated in some events including the 95th Anniversary of the May Fourth Movement held by the Student Union of the University of Macau and the 3rd Core University Students Forum held in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. As for my graduate study, my overall GPA (3.27/5.0) ranked top 6% in the department. Although I didn’t accomplish something big in this field, I kept hard-working. I mean I would keep hard-working and bury myself in the researching and studying. As chairman Xijinping said the youth is used to struggle at present while it is used to recall in the future.

I will do my best to join the new group and be good at postgraduate study. Besides what I have introduced myself above, I also have many interests in my spare time, swimming, fishing, reading books, and watching movies are all my hobbies. I think I'm reasonably optimistic by nature.

To conclude, I’m sure I won’t let you down. I hope that you can give me this chance to study in Shenzhen University, which is the shrine in my mind, and I am sure I’ll give you much glory in return. That’s all. Thank you for your attention. And welcome to Xinjiang!

当我们一进入考场，考官一般都要求作自我介绍，这个时候要注意给予考官肯定，友好的眼神交流。开头第一句话可以说Good morning, my distinguished professors\ teachers.不过，建议考生使用professors更好一些，会显得更尊重考官。问候过后，就可以介绍主题内容。包括以下几个方面：

(1) 姓名，介绍自己姓名时，发音一定要慢要准。

(2)年龄，年龄可说可不说，可以跟在姓名后带过(I am XXX, 25 years old)，也可以加上家乡和家庭的介绍。

(3)原来的院校、专业。注意：考生要对自己原来的学校名称搞清楚，一定要查阅学校的相关网站，千万不要闹出低级的笑话。

(4) 性格、能力的介绍。在这里，你的性格能力一定要能够反映出对你报考的专业具有积极的作用。同时，也可以介绍你过去的经历，例如参加的某种和你未来专业相关的活动，以及在这项活动中你的作用、感悟。

(5)爱好，一般可以从体育、音乐、电影等方面来说，同时要简单说明这些爱好对你的积极意义。

(6)你报考本校本专业的原因。对于这个问题你可以从你的兴趣和学校对你的吸引力来谈。比如：你对报考的专业有兴趣，可适当举出一些例子，如经常看相关的书籍、论文、文章、新闻等。

(7)结束语。很多考生在说自我介绍的时候没有结束语，会造成特别尴尬的局面。因此，一定要加上你的结束语。例如：That’s all. Thank you for listening. If I’m lucky enough to get the chance, I’ll devote all myself to my major and focus all my energy on it.
