I am honored to be here for this interview today. My name is____,______years old. I come from______,a northern city of _____. I graduate from _______ which is affiliated to the Work Safety Administration of China.I major in Civil Engineering. In the past one year, I have been preparing for this postgraduate examination. Today I am doing my best to get the key into China University of Mining and Technology,Beijing. I am open-minded, quick in thought and very fond of history.Even when i was a young boy,I was very interested in Buildings.Every one may have a dream,and I still remember that my dream is to be a Engineer .I liked to make wonders just like,where are we from?Where are we going in the universe?And then I would find the answers in book by myself.Still today I think that interest is the best teacher in one's whole life.

Four years'university education gives me a lot of things to learn,a lot of chances to try,and a lot of practices to improve myself.It teaches me not only what to study and how to think,but also to see the importance of practical ability such as doing expriment. In the university life,I have made many good friends.They help me improve my study and research ability, do ererything just like a man,and often give me good example to follow.

I choose Geotechnical Engineering because I find it playing an important role in Engineering construction.As we all know, China's engineering geology is very complex. China civil engineering construction will meet a lot of geotechnical engineering problems, especially in the coal mine construction. In addition, the teachers are very good and knowledgeable. I hope I can learn from you.

I really appreciate it if you could consider my application if I could have the honor to study here. I promise that I would never fail your expectation. I’ll try my best to study and learn as much as I could, so as to make contribution to the society and our country.
