一、我的小学英语教学中出现的问题:

随着改革开放的进一步深入,英语教学越来越受到重视,在小学开设英语课已成为发展趋势。我很愿意学以致用,让每个学生都和我一起学好英语,迈入新世纪。回想我上中学时,英语是让同学们感兴趣的一门课,但也是让同学们很头疼的一门课,相当一部分同学后来放弃了英语的 二、我对小学英语教学的思考:

1、回想我的教学方案和实践:

⑴坚定信念,对教好学生有所认识:

作为教师,我们有责任使每个学生学好英语。从素质教育的角度说,我们要面向全体学生,期望他们都有所学。从小学生的智力发展过程看,我们应坚信他们都是可塑之材。小学生正处于儿童前期,这一时期,儿童脑和神经系统的发育已经完成,脑神经系统的控制与调节功能也日趋完善。儿童期是智力发展的关键时期,由于智力发展非常迅速,因此,这一时期的正常教育与良好环境显然格外重要。儿童前期智力的基本特征是:感性经验、形象思维和逻辑思维想结合,并逐步过度到逻辑思维为主;思维具有可逆性,并能进行初步的判断和推理,具有强烈的求知欲,对任何事物都要问个究竟;很强的记忆力,特别是机械记忆的能力;善于想象等。

⑵坚持以下原则:

因地制宜、因材施教原则:我在自修英语大专,我们偏远山区缺少英语学习环境,我就把我的英语自修与英语教学结合起来,与学生共同学习;人与人之间存在着一定的差异,这是客观的,要大面积提高教学质量,必须面向全体学生,因材施教,充分调动每一个学生的 积极性、主动性,让每个学生主动地、生动活泼地学习和发展,一步一个脚印,最终都有所学。

⑶明确小学英语的教学目的:

①使儿童获得一些英语的感性认识,激发他们学习英语的兴趣和培养能力,使学生敢于大胆开口说英语。

②打下较好的语音、语调和书写基础。

③养成良好的学习习惯,为进一步学习英语奠定初步的基础。

⑷教学实施:

在教学内容上:

①以音标为凭借,音标教学贯穿教学的始终:

语音的重要性:语言是一种工具。人们使用语言,进行交往、交流思想。我们通过学习英语,可以和许多国家和人民交往,可以吸取有用的科学文化知识,为我国的社会主义建设服务。语言有三个方面,即语音、语法以及词汇。语音是根本的。语法和词汇都是通过语音得到体现的。在学习英语的过程中,学好发音是十分重要的第一步。只有学好发音,才能听懂别人说的话,也才能让别人听懂你说的话。能听能说,英语就算学活了。只有学好发音,才能把所学的语言材料以正确的形式在脑子里存储下来,以正确的形式使它重现,从而加强对语言的感受,最有效地掌握语法和词汇,提高实际使用的能力。因此,学好发音是不可缺少的第一步。发音没有认真学好,不仅英语说不好,连朗读都有困难;这样,就很难学得活和学得牢,也很难较快地尝到学习英语的甜头。一开头学好语音,学英语的方法对,路子宽,以后收效会越来越大的。

从第一节英语课开始我就渗透语音教学,不论是会话中的词、会话后的词,还是字母,都给出音标,按音标教给学生发音,强调发音要领,持之以恒。这时,以模仿和利用音标相结合的方式进行教学,并从中使学生形成利用音标学习英语的意识和一定的技能。

从第二学期开始专门学习音标后,利用学生已有知识和技能系统学习音标知识,并应用音标知识和技能去学习词汇。“授人以鱼供一饭之需,授人以渔则终生受用无穷”。我要求学生记笔记,即课本会话中单词的音标,课后学生自己练习时若忘记某个词的发音,自己根据音标拼读出来。我鼓励学生学查字典,自己遇到生字自己去查、去拼。

②以听说为主方向,让学生在有意和无意中真正感受到英语:

学生学习英语,光会说几个单词、几句简单的日常用语,如“Hello!Bye-bye!”是远远不够的,不能引起他们学习的兴趣,离他们是遥远的,所以要创造条件使学生充分地去练习听说。课本中的会话、Let's play中的绕口令,以及我平时教给学生的一些句子都可以看作是例句,课上课下、师生之间、同学之间进行“有意练习”、“无意练习”。例如,在讲新课时“练习”,平时学生已能脱口而出“May I come in?”在学习Lesson 43的“May I go now?”时就可让学生在对比中很快学会新句子,练习了句型“May I …?”在生活中练习,我不留神踩了一名学生的脚,便说“I'm sorry”,学生说“Don't worry”,很自然地练习了所学英语。

③单词的认读、记忆逐步加强:

学习英语的另一块基石就是词汇,不管是听说还是读写,都离不开词汇,所以,一定要重视词汇教学。一是让学生自己通过课本插图、我去引导明确单词中文意义,二是学生自己看清单词字母组成、利用音标拼读出来;学有余力的学生

可以自己借助字典学习,我给予指正。在巩固记忆方面,采取定期听写、随机复习的方式。

④发挥游戏的作用:

课本中的游戏对巩固教学有很大作用,可以让学生在快乐的游戏中自然地学英语。如,对于练习元音“/ei/ /i:/ /ai/ /u/”的四个绕口令,绝大部分学生能饶有兴趣地、较熟练地说下来,练习了音标,清楚了含有这几个元音的字母,学生产生了学习兴趣,我的教学也比较顺利了。

此外,每单元结束后,我都要带领学生进行系统复习,内容除了单元检测外,还有会话、听写、拼认音标词等,学生先练习,然后在我跟前“一一过关”,查漏补缺。我把这些情况以表格形式记录,对学生情况做到心中有数。

在对待学生方面:

在课堂教学、课后复习和单元复习时,我对自制力强、学有余力的学生“放手”让其“自学”,并要他们帮助其他同学;对有一定自制力、有一定知识和能力的学生给予辅导,组织他们一起学习;对自制力较差、知识和能力水平低的学生重点辅导,并组织其他学生帮助他们。我鼓励学生之间一起学习、交流,以促进他们的学习。

2、总结原因:

我的原因:

(1)教学方法、形式有所变化,但还是较单一、死板,主要还是老师单纯讲解、学生听,练习仍是老师单纯叫、学生答,那些“优秀生”听得进去、做得下来,而有的学生对你的课就置若罔闻了。

(2)更重要的原因是教学的覆盖面小,上面所说的教学方案并没有完全实施。由于我的时间、精力的原因和学生的个体情况不同,我与学习好一点儿的学生接触、交流的机会相对于学习差一点儿的学生多。比如,课堂提问并没有特别注意中等生和后进生。再如课后练习和单元复习,“优秀生”“随时随地”找我练习,不对或不熟练的地方在我指导后再反复练习;中等生、特别是后进生,我得“主动”和他们“预约”,而他们往往“失约”;学习小组也没有完全搞起来;我对中等生和后进生“把关”也不严,中等生不熟练就放过去了,后进生是勉强“过关”。 结果,“优秀的”越优秀,“落后的”越落后。

学生的原因:

(1)学生的智力、能力水平的差异是客观存在的。

(2)更重要的原因是学生是否具有良好的学习习惯,随着时间的推移、学习的深入,那些智力、能力水平相对较低的,也没有一定良好学习习惯(或说是自制力较差)的学生学习就落后许多了。

但我的教学也有一定效果,特别是听说方面,比如,上学期期末检测,全班24人,听(说)成绩优秀的和良好的有16人;这学期,音标教学比较顺利,绝大部分学生能独立拼认音标词,听说能力的提高有保障。这说明我的教学方案有一定可行性。

三、我的小学英语教学的改进:我要使每个学生学好英语,我能使每个学生学好英语。

1、加强教育教学理论和英语的学习,完善我的教学方案。

2、更重要的两个方面是花工夫、下力气、千方百计彻底实施教学方案和培养学生的学习自制力以及良好的学习习惯

First、Seize the opportunity and render English classroom

Characteristics of primary school age are: love speaking and moving, but be weak in self restriction or self control ability . Maybe we will neglecte these characteristics while teaching, even just follow simple traditional teaching mode, use traditional teaching methods and mechanical explanation. We must not consider them as the container of knowledge to instill boring cold grammar and vocabulary.Or they won’t be interested in, even don’t have the learning enthusiasm and initiative. At present, the quality of English Teaching in primary school is poor, I am afraid that this is one of the main reasons. The learning needs interest. In a certain sense, learning English requires more interest. How to stimulate students interest in learning, and keep it, make it become their motivation to learn, is the starting point of interesting teaching consideration

Second、The full study on materials, careful preparation, increase interest in each aspect of teaching.

It’s always from easy to difficult for teachers to deal with learning materials and content. At the same time we should consider a certain degree of stimulation on the student's learning interests to make the students’ thought is always in a positive state, so that their interest gradually upgrade.
