大学英语四、六级考试口语考试全部采用机考，20xx年11月考试报名即将开始，现将有关事宜通知如下：

一、报名资格

20xx年6月及以后的纸笔或网考四级成绩为500分以上（含500分），或六级成绩为425分以上（含425分）。

二、考试日期

20xx年11月23日。

三、报名时间

20xx年10月30日9时至11月10日17时。

四、报名方式与缴费

网上报名（报名网址 www. ），通过网银支付考试费,考试费为50元；因考点容量所限，报名额满为止。

五、报名流程

第一阶段：20xx年10月30日9时至11月10日17时。

考生直接进入www.网站进行报名并通过网银支付考试费。

第二阶段：20xx年11月14日9时至11月20日17时

网上报名后缴纳考试费成功的考生到 www. 网站自行打印准考证。

六、成绩发布与证书颁发

1. 考试成绩由CET考委办在 www. 网站上发布，考生可自行上网查询；

2. 对考试成绩为 A、B、C 三个等级的考生，颁发相应等级的口试成绩单；成绩低于 C 等的考生不发口试成绩单；

3. 口试成绩单的领取时间将在 www. 网站上公布，考生根据准考证上提供的成绩单领取地点信息自行前往相应考点领取成绩单。

流程：

1. 开场白。各位考生轮流报一下名字name以及准考证后四位数字admission number.

2. 自我介绍。"Would you please introduce yourself to each other?"

3. Group work. 这又分为四个小环节。

考官说："Now that you have known each other, we can do some group work." ① 简单问答。这个环节考官会问一个问题，然后需要考生给出答案并予以解释。 比如第三个考生回答的问题是"which sport do you like best?"

得到回答后考官紧接着就问"Why?"

② 看图回答。一分钟的准备时间，一分半钟的表述时间。

这个环节考生需要轮流表述所给卡片上的主题。

③ 互相讨论。要求考生深究话题，四分半钟时间。该环节考生可以互提问题，可以互相争论。

总之不要说太少，也不要说太多不着边际的话。

Chinese meal table normally is filled with delicious food, yet the host is used to saying " I am sorry. I don’t think the food is good enough today" and other courtesies. 4.Do you consider your 18th birthday is one of the most important days in your life? Give reasons.

Yes, 18th birthday is considered the most important. Each birthday means a new year. I am most concerned about my 18th birthday as it is a sign of adulthood, indicating that I am no longer a child, but one who can try to do things independently and should be reliable for his or her own actions as an adult. Since my eighteenth birthday, I am entitled to go shopping alone, to travel alone and to live independently. I still remembered my 18th birthday. After my birthday celebration, I suddenly felt grown up, both physically and mentally. Birthday to me is an important turning point, enabling me to learn and think independently. So far as I am concerned about each birthday, I usually feel better.

5. Is money the most important thing in your life ? If not,

what is it?

No, money is not the most important thing in my life. I think the most important thing in life is love. First, everything is born of love. When a child is born, his parents give him or her lots of

love in creating a healthy environment for him or her. Secondly, what society needs is also love, if there is no love among members in society, it will become listless apathy. Third, though money can buy something, it can not give or buy love. Love yourself and you get respect from others. Give your love and you create a harmonious surroundings for the society. Finally, everyone knows that friendship is built on love instead of money. Money can’t support ever-lasting friendship.

6. In what places has smoking already been banned in China? Are you in favor of this policy or not?

Nowadays in China, smoking is banned in many public places, such as cinemas, threators , supermarkets, hospitals, meeting rooms and so on.

As far as I am concerned, I am strongly in favor of this policy. First of all, smoking is bad for health. And in public places it often leads to second-hand smoking, which is bad for the smoker as well as people around. Second, if you are talking with a person while you are smoking, what will happen? He or she will consider the necessity of whether to go on talking or not, because your behavior shows that you don’t care much about what you are talking. Smoking makes you lose friends. Third, smoking costs lots of money, which will

result in quarrels and tight budget at home. That’s not good for building up of a harmonious society. Thus, I am strongly in favor of this policy.

7.Why do some young people pick up smoking.

Personally, I think there are three reasons for young people picking up smoking. First, they want to follow the trend, to be in the crowd. Most of the young people don’t know what they should do. They just do what their peers do. Second, some youths want to show their identity, to attract attention of their peers and their parents, to show that they are not little children any more. They are already in their adulthood. They want to tell their parents they want to do things adults do. Third, for some young people, smoking is considered as a way to relax and get rid of bad feelings from work or family. They enjoy the process of smoking. Smoking helps them forget unhappy incidents.

8.What problems may people have as they grow old?

Have you ever thought what you will look like when you are old? People face more and more problem as they grow old, especially old people living in country.

In countryside most old people live with their

children.Since they do not have pension themselves, most of

them could not enjoy good health-care and get social welfare. For people living in cities, most of them don't live with their children, they normally live by themselves, feeling lonely as their children are busy working. They haven't enough time to take good care of their parents .They visit their parents or parent once a week or once a month. They could not offer good care to their parents

Generally speaking, old people, no matter where they

live, they are faced with lots of problems .The government and people should help them to solve the problems and

live a happy life.

9. What is addiction? What harm can addiction to internet do to college students?

Addiction, according to a dictionary, means that development of habitual inclination. No one knows what causes a person to be addicted to the Internet, but there are several factors that have been proposed as contributing to Internet addiction.

With the development of computer technology, there is a growing popularity of Internet surfing on college campus. Many students are addicted to Internet .They spend much time on computer games, chatting with friends, watching movies or

shopping online. Too much time online is not good, even harmful to students’ health, which would induce them to spend money that they should spend on food and less sleep.

To solve they problem, students should be cautious in

10 .Which place is better for people to accept education,

at home or at school?

I prefer to learn at school. First of all, I think school has learning environment. If all the students around you are busy, you could not help joining the group. Second, at school , students discuss problems they do not understand and learn from each other. And at school, if I have problems I can not solve I can turn to teachers for help or conduct research in the library. Third, learning at school follows strict schedules, students can learn step by step so that to gain a reasonable understanding of subjects they are supposed to learn. Fourth, There are many peers in school, we will not feel lonely, and learning from each other you can improve your interpersonal skills. Last but not the least, activities held at school help us

11. Are there any episodes in your life thatmake you feel happy and excited ,or disappointed and depressed? Everyone expriences so many episodes in one’s life including moments of happiness and excitements, disappointments and depression, so do I. Now I will share one moment of disappointment and depression with you.

The story begins like this: when I was in Grade 2 in my

high school, my teacher asked us to prepare a speech about anything that we want to talk about. Although I thought I had prepared so well, I still felt a bit nervous .And what’s worse ,I decided to add some body language to my speech, which I thought would be helfpful.

When I got on the platform of the classroom, I started , “You ,you and you, get together!” Ok, this is how I started. I thought it must have impressed my class deeply. On the contrary, I heard hundreds of ” oh , no , no” with thousands of laughters. And that is really quite bad. I even didn’t know what had happened after that. Some people believe that economic growth should never be at the cost of the environment. They think serious

environmental problems nowadays are largely caused by rapid economic growth . For example, deserts are spreading,

because of over grazing, poor farming and tree cutting. Our air and water supplies are also being polluted by poisonous gases and waste.

However, other people think it unnecessary to take

environmental problems now into serious consideration, for our priority should go to economic growth. They believe that

13．Your ideas on college student’s pursuing fashion.

Nowadays, an increasing number of college students are pursuing fashion, which has aroused a great concern in society.

Some, even at the beginning of their college life, begin to make every effort to buy a variety of famous-brand products, such as clothing, computers, cellphones, MP3s and so on. Some take part in different kinds of popular entertainment, for example, birthday party, playing tennis and singing in KTV.

Following fashion has had a great impact on college students. First of all, pursuit of fashion is a costly hobby, which will impose great financial burden on their parents. In addtion, it is possible for college students to get lost in following the tide. Some of them even fail to focus on their study. Last but not the least, as the future leading consumers, some students pay more attention to enjoying fashion.

Make sure shelves are fastened（使固定） securely to the walls. Place large, heavy objects on lower shelves （架子）or on the floor. They might fall. You can also screw them onto things, such as desks. Place breakable items (bottles, glass,

china, etc.) in closed cabinets that have latches. Make sure to board them up so that the cabinet doors won't fly open. Heavy pictures （绘画作品）and mirrors should be hung away from beds, couches, and anywhere that someone might sit. Though Lei Feng passed away for many years, his

spirits are still alive . He made me know that helping and caring others is of great importance . I should learn from him and show my love and care to the people in need.

16.Your ideas on the legal or moral implications of cloning for human society .

My point of view on cloning is that it is like a double-edged sword. Either on the legal or on the moral implications, cloning is a controversial topic. I personally hold the idea that it is illegal and not morallly right to clone people. When it is

necessary to clone parts of organs for medical treatments, cloning is obviously a wise way. In that case, cloning makes

human's life much better and happier. In addition，cloning can help people avoid genetic illnesses, which helps improve

people’s life span. All in all，I'm in flavor of cloning only for its good effect of helping people live a longer and happier life.

17. Whom do you turn to for help when you have problems ? and why?

When I have a difficulties and when I think of people to turn to for help, it is my parents I turn to for help. They would always be considerate and come to my support.

Sometimes we may feel grown up and no longer need to parents’ help. But when we meet difficulties and come down in the world, we get to know that many people help us on purpose.They help you and want something from you. But we get to know that only our parents can share endless love to us. Although sometimes we do something wrong and may hurt them, they would not abandon us and help us to solve our

problems by doing their best. When I feel sad, going home is my first choice. When I hear the voice of my parents I feel relieved and wanted to embrace them. They are always my back bone. l thank them and love them more than ever.

18. What makes you feel stressed? How to deal with it?

Yeah， there are so many things that may make us feel stressed. For example,when I’m in a hurry for tests, I may feel stressed, as there are so much work I should do and I have no time to have a break. The feelings make me think that everything is disgusting.

So how to deal with it ? I will say it’s easy . As everyone knows that music is the best cure in the world, especially for bad mood. Sometimes, when I feel stressed, I may listen to music or go and play basketball. It’s a good way for me to get relaxed and to forget some misfortune or disgusting things. After that, I become energetic and active again.

19. Should the use of disposable of plastic bags be banned？Give reasons.

I think the use of disposable of plastic bags should be banned. A plastic bag contains 16 elements of poisons and a lots of bacteria and carcinogen. It is harmful to human body, and it leads to serious environmental pollution. Forthemore, it

will take two hundred years to get rotten, without being digested during the time. Plastic bags endanger animals and human beings as well. So we should try to regulate policies to ban the use of plastic bags and cleanse them out of our life completely. Only in this way can we reconstruct a healthy society for us and for our decedents.

20. Reading and traveling, which do you think helps more to broaden people’s mind?

There are lots of ways to broaden people’s minds, such as traveling, reading and surfing on the internet

My favorite way to broaden my mind is traveling. Traveling can not only broaden my mind, but also open my eyes to the world. What's more, it refreshes me. By travelling, you can go to Disneyland and experience being “a child again!” You can visit one of the “seven wonders of the world,” such as the Grand Canyon and feel the magnificence of nature! You can taste “magical” ice water from a glacier, which can help you become more beautiful and make you live longer. Travelling can also help forget all the sadness and troubles that you have encountered. Since experience is a kind of living knowledge, by travelling, you'll be sure to experience many new things. 21. Your ideas on the prevalence of western food.

In recent years, western fast food rushes into China, and Chinese young people are fond of it, especially children and teenagers.

To begin with, weatern food, especially fast food is convenient. Since life pace moves very fast these days, people don＇t like to waste their time on three meals. So going to a fast food restaurant is often the first choice to many people. Fast food, as it is called, will be ready in a minute. Moreover, excellent service and comfortable environment of the fast food restaurants also count for its popularity

However, I don’t life fast food because it doesn't provide a balanced diet and is low in nutrition. I don’t think it is good for our health.

22. What do you know about Charlie Chaplin, one of the greatest comedians of all time?

Charlie Chaplin was born in a poor area of south London on 16 April, 1889. He was one of the greatest film actors of all time. From The Tramp to Modern Times, he made many funniest and most popular films of his time. He was best known for his character the youthful and lovable Little Tramp.

Chaplin succeeded in his career, but his early marriages were not successful at all.

Chaplin died on Christmas Day 1977. He left behind family and friends saddened by his death, and millions of fans worldwide. Chaplin had greatly influenced everyone's life in the early 20th century. He made more people laugh than any other man who ever lived and changed the way people looked at the world.

Nowadays, advantages and disadvantages brought by Internet has become more and more obvious.

Fisrt of all we would say that advantages of Internet helps a lot in our life. Let’s take, for example, talking on internet is probably the most efficient way of communication, which can help avoid embarrassment. When people talk to to each other they may encounter problems.However, in internet, without seeing each other, they can express themselves freely in communication without feeling embarrssed. 24.How to balance part-time job and school work .

A considerable part of campus students choose to

But the problem is how students coordinate the work and learning? I think, first of all,students should try to make a good schedule of their time so as not to affect their study. Reading in English is good for English comprehension, listening, speaking and writing as well. It is an effective way to improve our English. Reading in English can help us learn new words and ways of their usage. Besides, by reading we can learn much about other cultures and people so that we can iprove our communication skills, when working with foreigners who are from English speaking countries. Furthermore, experience from extensive reading plays an important role in promoting language ability and development cross culture capability.

26. Your opinions on the saying :Where there is a will, there is a way .

We all know a famous saying ,"Where there is a will, there is a way." I think it is true, and it is surely a motto. If you put a goal in your life, and work hard to achieve it, you'll find you can

get a success. Just like Yu Gong in Chinese ancient story. He set a goal to move the mountain in front of his house. It seemed impossible for other people at first. But he tried and he was successful. The story inspires everyone of us. We should have a will and set a goal, and then find a way to success.

A student who has no resolution will never succeed in his studies. We should be self-confident and believe that we can success, if we have a strong will. Edison invented electric light due to his strong will to explore science. Tagore became a famous poet out of his will to write beautiful poems. Along with the rapid development of society, there are many ways available to find information, such as school library or internet café and etc. My favorite way is to go to Internet café. First of all, it is very convenient to surf for whatever I want. I can just click the button, then I get the materials. Second, as we all know that Internet is rich in information. We can find lots

of relevant information for a study project. Thirdly, searching on Internet won’t take too much time. Sometimes it will only take a few minutes to find information. Anyhow, their are more advantages than what I have mentioned. I like to surf on Internet to help my study.

28. Do you often write to or call your parents What do you usually tell them on the phone or in your letters?

I often call my parents when I am homesick or have troubles in my university life. I often call my parents on Sunday morning. Over the phone, I normal would ask them to take care of themselves, eat healthy food and pay attention to the changeable weather or dress properly.Sometimes, I tell them some interesting things about my classmates and what I learned in the week. By informing them what I am doing, I wish to relieve them from warrying about me. I hope to hear their laughter, which is a consolation to me. Now, I've got into a habit of calling my parents every week.

29. What's courage? Give an example of an act of courage.

Courage means dare to say or do what you think is right, even though other people may not agree or approve. Courage is the quality of bravery when you are in danger, in pain, or in difficult situations. There are kinds of examples of act of

courage. For instance, in 2009, in order to save a drowning boy, three university students lost their lives. The moment they jumped into the river to save the child in danger, they cared not about the danger ahead or even their own lives. This is the greatest courage I admire and should learn from.

30. Do you like to see English movies?

I enjoy seeing English movies. First of all, seeing English movies is a good way to learn English. We can learn English form dialogues in movies to help prove both listening and speaking.

Secondly, by seeing English movies we can learn cultures of English-spoken countries, understand how people think and behavior in circumstances different from ours. In this way, we enrich our knowledge and widen our horizon of other people and land. Thirdly, English movies do not noly entertain people but also leave something for us to think about. Take“2012” as an example: “What if the phenomena on the screen come ture?” is a real question to every body. After seeing these movies, many people really begin to think about serious environmental problems. Above all, seeing English movies helps both learning and understanding. I like seeing English movies.
