The author Axel Madsen is a prolific writer best known for his richly detailed biographies of business titans and fashion pioneers including Coco Chanel.He died when he was 76,in 2007.

About the book Chanel:a woman of her own by Axel Madsen it has 19 different editions published between 1990 and 2009.It’s kind of thick,and the words inside are etremely small and i did not finish it completely,but i'll go on.and the book is about the long life of coco chanel.

Gabrielle "Coco" Bonheur Chanel (August 19, 1883 – January 10, 1971) was a French

fashion designer and founder of the brand. She was the only fashion designer to be named on She was legendary,of

course,beautiful,charming,and intelligent and creative.You must know the brand more than the founder,coco chanel herself.And she was also very proud of the brand.She considered the brand as:Chanel is a kind of style,which is unique and never gets out of fashion.She with her confidence and passion had made the brand famous.From every of her designs you can see how she lived her own life.

She was born in auvergne,France in 1883,and she studied in a convent school where she had learned sewing skills.In 1905 she sang in a club,for a living and changed her name into coco at that time.Then after 5 year,she opened a clothing shop,for women,and

because of her wonderful skills,of sewing,many ladies would come to her little shop and buy her clothes and hats.In 1914,Coco Chanel opened 2 shops,and the famous brand chanel was officially born.

In 1920,she came up with many new ideas,for example,seaman dress,mini black

skirt.Even more,she also designed Chanel pants for ladies.You may know that in the 20s,ladies were supposed to wear very tight dresses with complicated designson them like this,they were supposed to look like that,and the dresses were heavy,and very

uncomfortable.Coco thought about it,and produce loose casually clothes for ladies,bravely 'cause no one had tried to produce pants for girls,for ladies.And she had succeed~Ladies loved their new looks,she created a new style.It was so meaningful.
