创业者必学的10句英语名言

1.Ask for forgiveness, not for permission.

按照英文的习惯，第一例就先从字母“A”开始吧。

对于一个新的想法，如果唯唯诺诺非得等待上司的批准后再去动手验证，可能时间耽误了，更大的问题是，明明是开创性的想法，你的上司并不一定理解和支持。所以，与其请求同意，不如Just do it！如果结果证明你的想法是错误的，那么及时主动请求宽恕，不然就期待老板对你刮目相看的得意时光吧。

不要怕做错，先斩后奏，请求宽恕和特别嘉奖的机会各一半，有勇气、有性格、敢于创造的人应该有点儿冒险精神，敢于为冒险而承担责任。

当然你没想透就冒然去创业，把家里的积蓄都偷偷地花光，血本无归，那就请求你老婆的宽恕吧，从此在家当一辈子奴隶。

2. Burn the bridge / Burn the boat.

一个人不下定决心，不破釜沉舟，很难集中所有的智慧、资源、资金、精力去专注做好一件事情。创业者当你决定了要去成就一件伟大的事业，就要破釜沉舟，义无反顾地去冲、去拼博、去决一死战，才有可能成功。

3. Don’t boil the ocean.

创业切忌好大喜功、好高骛远。先摸索着把一壶茶沏好，把一个产品先做好做极致，把钱一分一分地赚进来，把收支打平，再去考虑扩展；别整天搞概念、搞假大空，别幻想去烧开四海之水。

4. The devil is in the details.

用比较顺口的中文，应该可以翻译为“细节决定成败”。创业事无巨细，什么都自己得做，尤其是要考验一个团队的执行力，“细节”能说明一切。

千万别拍胸脯说你是“下一个阿里巴巴”、“下一个百度”，结果把给你的钱都烧光了还没有见你干出个什么名堂来。

8. The check is in the mail.

听到有人告诉你说“钱已经汇出打到你账上了”，就当一句笑话开心一分钟吧，千万不要像是已经吞下了一盒定心丸，要等到你银行对账单上印上了这笔钱的数字，才能算数！ 当你和一个VC喝了一杯咖啡，听了人家几句夸奖鼓励之词，千万别乐得飘飘然连脚都发软，站稳，投资人的钱这时离开到你账上的距离还有十万八千里呢！
