广东省本科高校大学英语写作大赛

大赛介绍

为了进一步深化大学英语教学改革，提高全省大学生的英语应用能力，培养和发现优秀的英语写作人才，广东省大学英语课程教学指导委员会（以下称“省大指委”）在省教育厅的领导下举办本次广东省本科高校大学英语写作大赛。

鉴于英语写作是国际交流与文化传播的重要手段，而写作能力是高校外语教育与人才培养质量的重要体现，也是大学生英语语言能力与人文素养的综合展现，此次写作大赛在省大指委的策划与组织下，将通过全国性的竞赛平台，贯彻国家提高教育质量与培养国际化、创新型人才的精神，推动写作教学创新，提高写作教学水平，培养高素质优秀人才，从而为我省外语教学改革、师资队伍建设、教育质量提升做出积极有力的贡献。

大学英语写作大赛将邀请外语写作教学与测试领域权威专家命题和评阅，涵盖Analytical Writing，Argumentative Writing，Practical Writing，Academic Writing等适用于各种目的或场合的写作类型，确保比赛的专业性、规范性与引领性。

一、大赛目的

为了配合第二届河北外国语职业学院英语写作大赛的开展，进一步培养我系学生的英语写作能力，并进一步关注学生英语应用能力的整体提高，从而推动我系英语教学的总体发展，英语系学生会特此举办“第二届英语系英语写作大赛”。

二、组织机构

主办单位：共青团河北外国语职业学院委员会

承办单位：河北外国语职业学院英语系学生会

三、大赛时间及地点

20xx年x月x日下午13:30-15:30，公共英语组在综合楼514教室，英语专业组在综合楼510教室。

四、参赛人员

英语系09级及10级在校学生，参赛人数英语专业组32人，公共英语组6人。

五、工作人员

英语系学生会学习部和宣传部

六、大赛形式

以考试形式在规定时间内完成规定的作文题目

七、大赛流程

将活动通知下发到各个班级，在各班接到通知后组织报名工作，以班为单位向学生会递交参加比赛人员名单，整个报名过程有条不紊的进行着。报名结束后，再根据参加比赛的人数准备比赛场地，并布

置考场。

一切工作准备就绪之后，于3月x日下午14：30开始比赛，比赛过程中，每个参赛人员严格遵守比赛纪律，独自完成答卷，使得整个比赛秉承着公正、公平的原则有秩序地进行着。16：30结束比赛，由工作人员将参赛人员答卷交由评委老师批阅，之后将已批阅完的答卷下发到参赛人员手中。

全国高职高专英语写作大赛总结

5月x日，第三届全国高职高专英语写作大赛在深圳职业技术学院举办。本届大赛自去年年底启动以来，历经院校选拔赛、赛区选拔赛和全国总决赛三个阶段，覆盖全国29个省区610所高职院校。

经过层层选拔，来自全国的186名选手参加了总决赛，我院何丹凤同学代表北京市参加了公共英语组的比赛，比赛结果将于下月中旬公布。

此次大赛是教育部高等学校高职高专英语类专业教学指导委员会，深圳职业技术学院主办，外语教学与研究出版社协办的全国性的大赛。在比赛同时还举办了第三届全国高职高专英语写作教学论坛，来自清华大学英语系的张文霞教授作了“英语写作测试的设计、应用及研究”的大会主旨发言。另外，来自兰州职业技术学院的陈建彬老师，来自山东日照职业技术学院的孙德常老师和来自安徽工商职业学院的邵贵君老师就高职高专英语写作教学交流了教学经验和体会。会后，与会教师一致表示此次论坛对于今后高职高专英语的写作教学有了坚定的信心。

全国大学生英语竞赛写作范文

Directions:  You and your friend have just finished a course and you want to arrange a party. You’ve had a meeting and made a list of your requirements. Nowadays, tuition fees for college admission are much higher than before. Many students lost their chances to enter the college because of the increasing tuition fees. Therefore, topics about tuition are paid much attention, among which the financial sources has become a hot topic and a matter of concern for many students and parents like.

As is apparently demonstrated in the chart above, there are four main ways to finance college education, the sources including friends or relatives, part-time job, blank loan and parents. What is revealed in the graph is realistic thought-provoking. Over ninety percent of the rich students relay on their parents to cover their tuition fees; A small percent of them solve this problem by means of bank loan or part-time job. On contrary, when it comes to the poor students, they would like to depend on themselves with the ratio of part-time job and parents item being 51 percent and 10 percent respectively. What's more, 30 percent of the poor student turn to bank load, which is fifteen times as much as that of the rich student. In a word, the differences between the rich and the poor are so obvious that we may draw a conclusion that the former mainly depend on their parents to finance college education, while the latter probably get enough money though their hard work or the state policy.
