Patience

Good morning , everyone .When it comes to the teachers’ essential qualities ,I believe that most of answers will appear the word “patience”. Now, let me begin to give you my speech “patience”.

To begin with , “what is the patience ?” The definition of the word “patience” is to tolerate delay , which implies self control and forbearance as opposed to wanting what we want when we want it. How many times have we jumped the gun and found out it would have been better to tolerate delay or had self control? What did we miss out on? Did we hurt someone we love because of lack of patience? Having patience will heal the wounds and it will work itself out fine. Patience is not only a virtue but a necessy for a happy existence that we must be more patience in our daily lives. Secondly , there are so many benefits of developing patience .It not only helps us reduces stress levels ,but also helps develop understanding, empathy and compassion .Furthermore ,with enough patience ,we may take enough time to assess the situation, see the big picture, and weigh any pros and cons ,which contributes to our better decisions.

Someone may ask but how to become more patient .In my opinion ,many steps can we take .One way ,we may practice thinking before you speak ,if we’re patient, pause and go over what we want to say, we can avoid hurting or offending others .On the other way ,sometimes we may make a plan ahead and someway slow down our steps .Anyway ,what is the most important thing is that in anytime we must believe that there is an advantage behind every misfortune, that there is a silver lining.

As it for me ,a teacher in the nearly future ,I think I should be have faith that I can make all of them understand what I taught .If some

of them wouldn't follow me ,I will be also patient to analyse knowledge to them in details.

With the fast development of society, English as a tool of commuciation becomes more and more important . As an international language, everyone all over the world starts to learn it. I am one of them. And I love English very much. Through years of learning. I gained many good ways. Today, I’ll talk about how I study English. I hope we can share the learning experience and learn from each other.

Firstly I am interested in English very much. When I was a kid, I thought English is a magic thing. So I became to like English day after day and I starts to enjoy learning it .

Secondly, I think listening and writing are very important. After finishing my homework, I listen to the tapes many times and read after the tapes. I think it is a good way to practice my listening.

Thirdly, I like writing something in English. I often do it, so I need to remember many words every day. This work is not easy, but I keep on doing it, and now I enjoy it.

Meanwhile, I often watch TV on CCTV9. It’s a good channel to learn English on listening and writing. When I watch the TV shows, I listen to the voice and write down anything I hear from the shows. Now, I think it is a happy and excited thing to learn English from watching TV shows. These are my own ways to learn English. I think everyone has his or her own ways. The most important is to find a way that really suits you. At the same time, 毅力 and hardworking are also important . In English learning. I still have a long way to go.
