Well, I find taking good notes an essential skill that a student must possess.

First of all, it can save you a lot of time. Good notes can tell you what’s important in a textbook; therefore, instead of reading dozens of pages of a textbook, which usually takes up a lot of time, it’s much more efficient to just read your notes.

Secondly, it helps you present professor’s lecture in a clear way. Take my biology professor for example, his lecture sometimes digresses and are not always conducted in a logical manner. So taking notes can help me understand his lecture better.

Intro: The person I enjoy talking with is my university classmate Song, who was in the same classroom and the same dorm with me during the unforgettable four years study in NanJing. Since we looked very alike each other and went to our cafeteria side by side, many people thought we were twins. Indeed, we are buddies all the time.

The university plans to expand college radios station’s broadcasting range so as to attract more students and to provide the university with an extra source of revenue.

The woman in the conversation thinks this change will work.

She says currently the radio station range is limited to the campus. If they expand the range, there’ll be more programs which will give students more professional experience and put them in a favorable position to find jobs.

Besides, the woman says this change will benefit the whole university. Since her friend’s university started a similar change five years ago and make a lot of money out of commercials. They use the money to offer more scholarship and fund programs to renovate new facilities.
